You can definitely smell the history of the building. Great use of turning a school into shop/restaurant spot. Somewhere to stop by for lunch or do a little souvenir shopping. It seemed to be a local spot for people to come to work/study. I came to visit the Principals Office for the first time. The menu was very fitting but I ended up refueling with a cappuccino. The barista was quick to brew it up as well. I will be back to try their cocktails. It was very interesting to walk around because you had the remnants of an Elementary school but modernized and upgraded for adults. Definitely check it out.

This is such a great and cozy venue. This is a great spot to meet friends to catch up or grab a coffee and work. We got BBQ and the flavor and bark were spot on. The staff at the BBQ place was super friendly and knowledgeable. The brewery had some really fun brews. Everything was reasonably priced. They have great patio and outdoor spaces. Also bring some cash and buy an art piece from the cute art vending machine in the hall.

Overall, absoutely amazing idea and concept. The only let down is we came on a Saturday afternoon and it seemed like 65% of the stalls were closed. I would have loved the opportunity to sample more of the places that were in there. The aesthetic is cool and feels like you stepped back in time. Def worth a stop by!

Love showing off this place whenever I take people here in the Colorado Springs area! Didn't tell my boyfriend where we were going when I plugged in the GPS and he was flabbergasted when we arrived thinking I took him to a real school lol! But he was amazed at the cool concept and we had fun exploring every room! Got coffee in the principal's office and saw a cute axolotl in a gift shop. The last time I came here I remember enjoying the food. Will come back again!

What a cool place this is in CO springs. Apparently "Ivywild school" is an actual school building considered historic in CO springs, and after it closed as a school the community didn't want it to be torn down so it was converted into this public space with lots of little shops, restaurants, and bars - including a very cool bar called principal's office that I would recommend! I learned all this from my Airbnb host in CO springs. It was quite busy inside the school - I walked around and there are restaurants, other bars, and even little shops with eclectic Colorado souvenirs and other trinkets. It's all very vibey, I really dig it :) and there was TONS of parking out front too. Would def rec a visit here even just to check it out, it's cool!

Ivywild School has been transformed into a food hall, and it's a fun spot to check out. We came by a little later in the evening, and most of the food vendors were still open, which was great. The building itself is really charming and fully accessible. There's also a community gym on site that offers Zumba and other classes. You'll find both indoor and outdoor seating, and everything was clean and well-maintained.

Coming to school, what a CREEATIVE use of a functional building!!!!! A bankrupt elementary school converted to a brewery, shops, and eateries.

This place is really fun. A converted school that now has restaurants and bars inside. Everyone was super friendly. Highly recommend.

Holy cow is this place cool! I wish we had a renovated school like this where we live. We came mainly for Bristol Brewing, but we loved walking around the old school. We ended up enjoying delicious cookies from one of the vendors and perused the cute little shop at the end by the stairs where we picked up a few trinkets. The fun facts painted in the restroom were fun to read. Adding some nostalgia to being back in school. This is definitely a must stop for travelers and a must visit for locals. Can't wait to come back to Colorado Springs someday just for this fun spot!

What a cool place! They took an old shutdown school and turned it into a food court campus with bars, restaurants and a brewery. There is a bakery and some shops in here as well. Loved the vibe!

Such a special and unique spot. We stopped by here on our trip to Colorado Springs and it was definitely a highlight. Loved the school theme, the options for food (we had the bbq and loved it) and the beer/cocktail options. It's a huge space with both inside and outside seating. Highly recommend.

This was a fun stop on my trip up to Wyoming. It was cool to wander around in a school turned shop/bar/restaurant that was reminiscent of the schools I attended. I had empanadas and spinach dip from decent pizza, which was delicious. Drinks at the principal's office was fun. Definitely recommend popping in at Odds and Ends.

Such a cool and creative spot. So glad I stumbled into this place. It's got a couple of shops and a handful of different restaurants. A pizza place, BBQ, a beer setup, chicken, salad shop, and the cutest bar called The Principal's Office. It's all in a school building built in 1916. The gym is still there and fully intact. Loads of outdoor seating. All the staff we encountered was friendly. A definite must see in CoSp.

Highly recommend a drink from The Principal's Office and cozy up in a nook looking out into the school yard.

Had a few beers and some food. Beer and cold and crisp so that was amazing. No notes needed. Now normally when getting food from breweries it's always just fine. Not good, not great, just fine. But food here? Amazing. I could come back just for the food and not even drink. Service was low key and not too overbearing. Definitely worth checking out!

Parking was sufficient for a late lunch but could be tight in a busy night or weekend. I met an employee here for lunch and was seated right away. There were several groups in the patio and a few inside as well. It was about 2p so after your typical crowd. Staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. Our server made a recommendation of the brisket grilled cheese, my employee decided to go with it and said it was good. I got the bbq brisket burger and it was delicious. Juicy patty with shredded brisket and cheese. We both ordered pub fries which were fried to perfection. Large portions so my guy took half his sandwich to go - my plate was empty though. So good! They had a large selection of beer and other drinks but we didn't partake since it was a work lunch. Looked like anyone should be able to find something to their taste though since I did read the drink menu several times.

The food was totally average, and my burger wasn't anything to rave about. The beer was fine. I liked what I ordered, which was some kind of West Coast IPA. The burger had cream cheese mixed with chiles, or something, but it read better than it ate, and the cream cheese layer was too thick, so it was messy and kept coming apart. I don't think they should do less, but maybe spread it thinner on both sides if that helps? And needs more seasoning to it. The guacamole burger had better flavor that my friend and I split each so we could try both. The Brussels sprouts side I chose were HORRIBLE. The worst I've had anywhere. I don't know how they got messed up, but they weren't cooked right and didn't taste appealing. I barely ate them, but the server said nothing and didn't offer to remove the upcharge it was for them. I think she should have noticed and asked me, and that's what I would've done is remove that upcharge if I were serving again. She was a good server, though. It's hard to pay attention, but the good ones do and don't take offense about it. And the sweet potato fries were terribly soggy, limp, cold. Ick. Fries should have a crispiness to them! It's cool they have a happy hour, so I'd def check that out ito see f it works for your schedule to save a few bucks.

There was a good repuar and they checked in often even with an event going on. The banmi itself was just decent. I liked the smokiness of the tofu and the sharp tang of the veggies but there was not much texture on most of it. The bread and tofu could have used a bit of a grill or fry. The downstairs taproom is a good size, open floor plan with plenty of seating for all types of crowds. Brown ales were calling and you better believe I answered the call!
