Paradox Beer Company was such a cool find on a road trip. We stopped in to enjoy the views and a few craft beers, but ended up being seduced by pizza oven, the delicious pizzas we saw being delivered and caved. Best decision ever, on the food truck / pizza oven, the views and the craft beer. The view is amazing and worth the stop alone, but as I look at the craft beers (and the sours, y'all), I'm convinced this would totally be on our short list if we lived closer. Def add to your next road trip itinerary.

Good brewery stop between Buena Vista and Colorado Springs. The Walter's Blood Orange Lager is a great refreshing beer on a warm day.

The nachos are huge and are so good.

Great beer, great food, and a great view. Keep it simple and let the mountains fill in the gaps. What a find after a day of hiking with the dogs. Loved the vibe, full bar and a large menu. Very pet friendly.

A great place to hangout and enjoy the views. The food is great! Service is fantastic. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. Have an area outside for corn-hole and horseshoe. And they are dog friendly.

3 words: get the wings! Theyre smoked so they have that nice Smokey flavor to compliment the buffalo spice

Stayed at an Airbnb nearby and our host recommended this spot. We got there just in time to beat the afternoon rush. It was empty upon arrival and by the time we left the crowd had gathered. You can walk up to the counter and order drinks and food and then find a place to sit. The service was fast and friendly! The seltzers were our favorite! You can get a plain seltzer and they will flavor it for you with whatever flavor you would like using syrups and juices. I got a pineapple flavored seltzer and my partner did raspberry lime. They have plenty of outside seating to be enjoyed on warmer days. They even have a stage so I'm guessing they have live bands playing often, but since it was so cold all the action was inside. The food was delicious. We got the specials for the day corn, chicken tacos and a carnitas quesadilla. The bread pudding was not my favorite but that's okay. The experience was great overall and we would certainly come back!

I love this brewery, it is in such a cool spot and it has an amazing view. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The food was way better than expected. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The burrito was absolutely massive and was a great value. Great people, great food, great beer.

The birria tacos are awesome! They also have a local pizza truck that visits. We tried 3 different beers and they were all good. The view was my favorite part. Nice seating area outside with a fireplace and heated lamps for when it's cold. There's a covered tented area for rainy days. Service and atmosphere was wonderful. Will return!

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Their food is very good and most is made in house. Now they have a full liquor license.

There was absolutely no way we were driving past the Frisco exit without pulling off. Outer Range is our ultimate mountain pit stop. They have an awesome location with a stunning modern build and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the fresh mountain air. It is wild to think that we just visited their sister location in the French Alps during our recent European travels. The fact that they can maintain total excellence across two different continents is unreal. The two spots are completely equal, and the Colorado taproom continues to prove why they are world-class. The beers were spectacular as always. We started out with a couple of pints of their New England-style juice. In the Steep is a masterclass in the style with a beautiful, pillowy mouthfeel and heavy tropical notes. Sun in the Clouds was just as impressive. It delivers those bright citrus flavors without the aggressive hop bitterness. I even noticed Cross Flow on the tap list, which is a fresh, hazy collaboration they just put out with Casey Brewing. Before packing back into the truck, we made sure to grab a new metal tacker to hang up in the garage. We also snagged a four-pack of Lil John Wayne. The can art is easily the funniest label on the shelf, but the actual beer is a solid ten out of ten. To fuel the final stretch of the drive home, we ordered from Bird Craft right inside the brewery. They do not cut corners here. They are frying up full wings, including the drummies and the flippers, and they will toss them in any of their house sauces for an incredible snack. The skin stays remarkably crispy even under a thick coat of sauce, and the meat stays perfectly juicy. It is exactly the kind of savory comfort food you need after a long road trip. Every single time we stop by this place, they manage to completely knock it out of the park.

They have a "Thai-ish" fried chicken spot as their food vendor, which is pretty good. Their pork belly fried rice and bird bowl was also good. Decent spot if you're in the area, tough to get a spot on weekends (find your own table as people leave).

My husband had a thirst for a Pilsner and I am not a beer fan but looked up a brewery that was on the way back to Colorado Springs and BierWerks came up. This bar is at a busy street corner in Woodland Park and it is a nightmare to park but it was worth it. This is a beer garden sort of place with outside seating. The traffic is loud but not bothersome. My husband had the aforementioned Pilsner and because I am not a beer fan I asked for a Radler which they didn't have premade but the bartender said she would make me one out of a lager mixed with Sprite and it was great. Beer connoisseurs may be having a heart attack but whatever; it was good and I appreciated her creativity and accommodation. We also ordered some jalapeño cheese and crackers which was essentially a tub of cheese and a sleeve of crackers but man this isn't a charcuterie board kind of place and I wouldn't expect anything else. Very nice bartender. Four stars but only because of traffic and parking.
