Such a cool spot for a brewery to enjoy the outdoors and view the trees starting to change color. They do have food, but did not get anything that day. Guys and gals over the counter were very friendly and helpful in selecting a beer or two. I ended up getting a beer that tasted like a margarita and another one that had the vibes of a breakfast beer. In all recommend dropping but this place in Divide. We stopped in to enjoy the views and a few craft beers, but ended up being seduced by pizza oven, the delicious pizzas we saw being delivered and caved. Best decision ever, on the food truck / pizza oven, the views and the craft beer. The view is amazing and worth the stop alone, but as I look at the craft beers (and the sours, y'all), I'm convinced this would totally be on our short list if we lived closer. The only real problem was that communications by me were not getting through. Unfortunately, it took months and a Yelp review to get their attention, but once they were made aware, they made it right. Stayed at an Airbnb nearby and our host recommended this spot. We got there just in time to beat the afternoon rush. It was empty upon arrival and by the time we left the crowd had gathered. You can walk up to the counter and order drinks and food and then find a place to sit. The service was fast and friendly! The seltzers were our favorite! You can get a plain seltzer and they will flavor it for you with whatever flavor you would like using syrups and juices. I got a pineapple flavored seltzer and my partner did raspberry lime. They have plenty of outside seating to be enjoyed on warmer days. They even have a stage so I'm guessing they have live bands playing often, but since it was so cold all the action was inside. The food was delicious. We got the specials for the day corn, chicken tacos and a carnitas quesadilla. The bread pudding was not my favorite but that's okay. The experience was great overall and we would certainly come back! read more

Great little brewery in the mountains of Divide. We loving come here when we're in town. They have a great option of beers that they brew in house. The pizza is hot a delicious, I really like the sauce they use on it. They also had a Mexican Chocolate bread pudding that was the perfect sweetness. The past two times I have come here they have been extremely understaffed and had to wait an excessive amount of time waiting in line to order (15 minutes) and receiving my food, which didn't arrive until after I had finished nursing my beer. The beer is okay and the tacos are excellent, but I suggest NOT coming on the weekend. read more

My husband and I have been here twice now so far and its becoming our go to spot after hiking anywhere north near Woodland Park. Their beer is great and I really enjoyed their American IPA and their Big Data Easy IPA. My husband ordered their Gose and I enjoyed a delicious taste of that as well. The atmosphere is very relaxing which is exactly what keeps calling us back here. The food is pretty pricy but we did enjoy the chicken wings as a snack. I hope that they expand their menu a little in the future just by adding a few snack items like fries or popcorn. I'm looking forward to warmer weather so that we can sit outside in the beer garden area and just stare at the gorgeous view. read more

This was our second time at Paradox. We ordered the Cash 4 Gold and Pumpkin Ale. Both were delicious and very reasonably priced. We also had a beer brat and pizza. There was a pizza food truck and Hawaiian food truck on site that afternoon. I wish they had a food truck schedule on their website. After living in Divide for 3 years, I finally discovered this place. One of the things that keeps me coming back is that I can bring my dog with me. I usually order the LaFiesta beer with salt and lime. If you don't like a huge mouthful of salt, ask them to go lightly. One of the pioneers of sour / unfiltered craft beer in Colorado and they're still one of the best. Couple that with the amazing, gorgeous location in Divide. Awesome view of the mountains, crazy custom firepit, and plenty of outdoor seating. The kinda place where you could just sit outside *without* a beer and just enjoy the vistas for hours on end. But, ya know, a few beers certainly doesn't hurt the experience. Their housemade small bites are great. And, like most breweries, have rotating food trucks as well. 15-20 beers on tap at all times. Their non-sour beers are somewhat underwhelming, but otherwise there isn't much more you could ask of a craft brewery in the craft beer capital of the country. read more

Just got back from Paradox. Ugh. Unless you want dog hair in your food and dogs blocking your way to get to the food pickup and to the restroom, don't go here. Ugh. Dogs are not allowed insides and there is a nice patio outside for dogs where they are allowed. But - there were at least 5 dogs running around back within about 3 feet of the food pickup area and restrooms, blocking the way to both. Ugh. And there was one couple sitting at a table inside selling dogs for a profit. Ugh. Until they start following their own rules, I will not be back. Also checking with the county, as I am not sure, but I don't believe dogs are allowed inside anywhere in Teller County. read more

If I could give this place 10 out of 5 stars, I would. This is hands-down the best brewery I've been too, and the best beers I've ever had. I'm a huge fan of wild and funky and experimental flavors, and Paradox really hit the spot. Plus they have an amazing taproom with awesome views of snowy mountain peaks and land for miles. The staff there was super friendly and helpful. We also indulged and ordered a pizza that was the bomb dot com. One of the brewers talked to us for a while and gave us a little tour and told us about their journey and whatnot. It had an amazing close-knit family feel, and from the time we walked it we felt like we were already part of that close-knit family. We were so smitten with their beer, we took a few back home with us and re-lived the experience. I would recommend anyone who loves beer to check out Paradox. I definitely hope to return the next time I visit the Denver or CO Springs area. read more
