Had my friend's birthday dinner here last night and it was seriously an amazing time! The owner was there and spoiled us with amazing on the house appetizers, desserts and fresh bakery goods! Food was delicious, hot and fresh!! Oysters were flown directly in! Service as far as our waiter went was a little mediocre..could have definitely been better..he could have just been having an off night. And the cocktails were just okay..the ratio was off on my lemon drop martini... BUT I can't give this place four stars... Because even those little things didn't change the amazing time we had and the manager really made everything compose circle!! And our friend had a wonderful time!! We will definitely be back!! if you haven't been to Marigold's, it's a must!!

Solid Five Hands down. You can't change my mind. This restaurant was the epitome of dining out. Friendly staff, great wait service, and hostesses. Down to earth owner that treats you like family. Fresh food from start to finish. Our appetizers were served family style and desserts were to die for. I had the beef bourguignon and hubs had the red rock snapper. His the owner treated us so well and he went around and greeted everyone and continuously asked how our food was. You can't beat service like that. Highly recommended, it's not just a bakery the food is amazing.

I have lunch with a girlfriend here. I had the Salmon Salad which was so good. Their service is always wonderful. Thought you would want to know their new hours and they have a happy hour as well.

What a treat to visit this place! Met up with my friend here for brunch before heading out to Garden of the Gods. Ample parking.....if you come early! It was a Friday and we were a bit early, so we sat there gawking at all the pastries and cakes! We were seated within 10 minutes of waiting, the line started to lengthen out! I'm glad we went early, the place was packed within the hour. Hot spot! Service was on point and our waitress was very friendly and patient with us, as we couldn't decide on everything! My friend ended up doing half the Muffuletta and chips, while I had their special - Salmon Pasta. I loved my pasta and the portion was very generous. I didn't think I'd be able to finish it, but I did! It was too delicious as brunch than leftovers. My friend enjoyed her Muffuletta and the fresh chips! We both ordered a dessert to go. Apple tart for me and the Fraiser for her. By the time I got home, it was time to warm up my tart. It was flavorful and not too sweet! I'm sure my friend enjoyed the Fraiser. Maybe this will be our spot when we go to GOTG!

ANOTHER amazing birthday with Gus, Caillee and the MARIGOLDS family. Missing is the Napoleon that we snarfed down before I snapped the pic.

Three years in a row we have celebrated a birthday with Gus, Caillee and the Marigolds family. We are always made to feel special and treated like gold. Gus even remembered that we were sitting at the same table as our last visit. the food was delicious and we were spoiled by Gus providing extra birthday desserts!!! The only thing they need to add is a wheelbarrow to help get my full tummy out to the car. We always recommend Marigolds on FB when COS Foodies has a ? About where to go for really excellent food or a special occasion. Marigolds never disappoints!

1st time here. Came from out of state to visit a friend for birthday. We came here for lunch. Love the homestyle feel of the restaurant and workers there who warmly greeted us. They had specials offered that looked great (see pic of special menu). The bread is house made, so are their chips which were both amazing. I asked our AMAZING waiter Jasper if the curry pita sandwich (forgot the name) was good. He highly recommended it and it did not disappoint. It was so fresh and flavorful. Also got the white bean and ham soup which was really really good. Two others in our party got the burger w sides of pasta and chips which were also amazing (I had to sample them too!). And 4 year old in our party got the butter noodles and he ate almost all of it! IMPRESSIVE! Back to our waiter Jasper, he was so personable and kind and accommodating of all of our requests, he constantly checking on us and even chatted for a few, you really don't find service like that anymore. We didn't try any desserts because we were full but they all looked delightful. Will definitely make this a regular stop when we visit!

Caesar Salad, got it with the Salmon! Salmon. The Salad could have used more than the one piece of tomato. Excellent customer service.

Caesar salad with Salmon, excellent customer service at front bar top, did take out. Salad could have used more tomato and croutons.

Filet mignon with seasonal veggies and mashed potato on the side!

Great food but you need to have Valerie as your server. She makes the dinner spectacular rather than just good.

We always provide the server a card with a list of the food allergies before ordering and ask them to show the kitchen. We ordered a gluten free child's taco after confirming they would be able to accommodate a wheat allergy. We were assured they could make the taco on a corn tortilla. When the food came it appeared it was NOT a gluten free corn tortilla. I don't have any allergies and tried a bite and it tasted like wheat to me so I told my son who is allergic to wheat NOT to eat it. I confirmed with the kitchen it was NOT a corn tortilla and they had served him a flour tortilla even thought we were very clear be is allergic to wheat. If he had eaten it we would have had to give him epinephrine and had a visit to the ER. After that I had no confidence that they understood food allergies or the difference between a corn or wheat tortilla and asked them to just remake the taco with no tortillas at all. So be very careful eating where is you have a wheat allergy. They were very nonchallannt about this major mistake that could have resulted in hospital visit and all we got was "whoops we're sorry!" I thought at a minimum the kid's taco would have been taken off the check for such a major mistake

The view house welcomed us with open arms. As I stated initially in this review, the food and the ambience are amazing, but what really made the experience testimonial worthy was, Vincent, our waiter/server. Dude rolled in with a small notepad, a smile, calm demeanor, and took every order, every drink, every appetizer, and even dealt with all these freaking knucklehead kids. I woke up and said the exact thing to My Wife yesterday. So, Vincent, hats off to you and everybody there. To the people behind-the-scenes making the food, THANK YOU! PS. Not a mistake was made. Not a forgotten sauce, no one was missing cutlery. Nothing. Thanks again.

My family went…read morehere to celebrate a birthday and I was so sorely disappointed with Viewhouse in Colorado Springs. The location is great from downtown Denver to Colorado Springs. The specific location in Colorado Springs on Campus Drive was really a disappointment for a Viewhouse spot; not only was my food ice cold but the rest of my family's entrées did not have any seasoning. My child didn't even want to eat the pizza! How could you fuck up pizza? (I don't want to forget to mention that most of this food looks and tasted like it was constructed from commercial Cisco food products, when eating at a nice place like this and paying a premium for each dish/appetizer. Why the hell aren't you using better ingredients?) When a seven-year-old is asking to pass the pepper and salt for pizza and still not eating you know it's wrong. The school pizza I had in elementary school blows the pizza I tasted from my child's dish that day out of the water. My father had specific dietary request and the kitchen totally ignored that. Sometimes it happens and the server forgets to bring culturey and napkins, but oh my gosh, it was a wait. Imagine eating chips and guac right off the bat and not having anything to wipe your hands on, and then that continued throughout the whole meal. It was quite busy that day, a saturday. I looked around like maybe everybody was being too nice to even mention because they too were just as flabbergasted. This food is off and my family and I had gotten a whole array of different dishes besides appetizers, the fries were not fresh and gross. Not even ketchup could mend the disappointment. We were so hungry, we had drinks and ate what we could manage.. We still paid our bill like decent people and will never come back to any Viewhouse ever again. Two of us had gotten ill from the lunch and we just didn't even have the _____ to call and speak with the manager or anyone the day after, and the disappointment lingered for a few days after. Its was so bad like one of those situations where you don't even care to ask for a refund, just never go back...

So, it's really annoying to me the way that the entire time I was there the security just kept going in and out to the parking lot to smoke weed and take shots literally not 10 feet from the line literally rubbing it in our faces they were having a better time. Was annoying. Everyone who worked there Saturday had a it sucks to sucks attitude. The big thing for me is that I was under the impression that this was a country themed bar because that's obviously how it's marketed however, they just played trap music the entire time I was there. I swear on my life there was no country music. Also, they allow underage people in of course they mark them so they don't serve them alcohol but it's just not my scene as someone who is in their mid 20s. This had a large helping of pork that did well with the Asian flavors and that crispy rice for texture; I would recommend. My final was the miso butterscotch tart. You can't go wrong with a dessert that has butterscotch, Biscoff, marshmallow and miso. The only criticism I could make was that the tart was pretty loose, but that did not take away from the flavor. To drink this place has lots of beer taps, a good selection of wine and plenty of interesting cocktails. I chose to have a couple beers and they were both very tasty.
