Absolutely love this spot in Springs. This cozy spot has lots of seating to relax, study, or catch up with friends over a great cup of coffee and their food menu is fantastic too. I tried the cold brew and it was stellar. The service was friendly as well. For food, I ordered the Cuban sandwich. It came out after about 10 minutes and it was HUGE. The bread was nice and crispy and they didnt hold back on the meat. I "upgraded" and tried their hand cut fries and was not disappointed. Some of the best I've had in a while! We were looking for somewhere to eat in Colorado Springs, and found this cute spot. There was a bit of a line, but it moved quickly. You order at the counter and then get a number to put at your table. There is a lot of seating, but I can imagine it fills up quickly on busy days. I ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte, which was ready very quickly. It was perfect. Our food took a very long time to arrive. I appreciate that the staff kept me updated that our order was still being worked on, but it took almost 50 minutes for our two items to arrive. They did offer us a coupon to use in the future for the trouble. We ordered the falafel and the chicken tenders. The falafel was very good, but I wish it came with more pita. This was a great lunch that filled me up without being too heavy. The chicken tenders were not great, and the chicken basically slid out of the breading as soon as my husband took a bite. I really liked the vibes of this spot, and even though there was a long wait, I appreciated the kindness of the staff when updating me about my order. We would not order the chicken tenders again, but I would love to try other things on the menu. read more

We came here for the first time to try their breakfast. It is bright, open, and cherry with old rock playing in the background. The staff was friendly and helpful. After perusing the menu we ordered at the counter. My husband had the vegan breakfast scrambled while I had the breakfast scrambled skillet but with vegan eggs. I also ordered two large iced teas which were given to me and we chose a table. Our food came out shortly there after. It smelled and looked delicious. The plating of the dishes was also lovely. The main difference between our orders was that I had bacon and real cheese while my husband had vegan cheese. The dish was pretty spicy and wonderfully tasty! My toast, which was supposed to be buttered, was dry, but I think that was because of the request for vegan eggs. Even the dry toast was tasty! We look forward to coming here again! read more

The Exchange featured a vegan breakfast burrito that I decided to try one morning and although it was a little pricier than what was featured on their outdated menu I found online, the burrito was pretty good. It delivered on the taste, the contents which included tofu scramble, diced tomatoes and potatoes, red onion, red pepper, etc. The size of the burrito was pretty good too. There were some challenges however, as I ordered this to go over the phone, I realized that they charged for parking around the area and I was in a rush, just needed to get in and get out but was stressing because I didn't want to get ticketed for just a quick pick up. I was so rushed that I almost forgot to pay. The price of the burrito was more than anticipated, over $16...when the menu online said it was for less. The Exchange is so cute! Love their vibe. You order all drinks and food at the front, they give you a number and you can sit wherever you want. I love that you can order from a large drink menu including alcoholic drinks. I stuck with a water and ordered the tofu banh mi. I ordered the mango smoothie and healthy bowl for my daughter. She wasn't a fan of the chia seeds but i liked them! Everything was really good. There were a lot of people sitting around with their computers working. Like, line-out-the-door, blink-and-you're-still-waiting packed. It's one of those "order at the bar and fend for yourself" spots, so I queued up like a trooper, dreaming of hops and peace. It took over 40 minutes for our food!! It wasn't just us. The people seated outside when we walked in got their food minutes before us. The Cubano was on point! And I loved the mac salad. The thai chicken salad was awful - what a shame because it looked so good. The chicken and dressing was extremely salty. The salad was drenched in dressing as well. I really loved this atmosphere once we got the food ordered. I really didn't like the ordering process; it's like ordering at noodles but you have to go up and get the drinks from the counter. It's hard to hear and it's where you order from so it is congested. Finding a seat is also an issue, first come first serve style so if you have a big group it could be hard. I loved the live music and how open it is once you get through the entrance and ordering chaos. The food is really good and the portion sizes I felt were just right if you're hungry. The coffees and drinks were great. I didn't love the baked goods but the hot food was delicious. A great place I'd go back to! read more

I have a love hate relationship with this place. When it's good, it's great and when it's bad it's awful. Which is usually the occasion lately sadly. Their coffee is very good when they get your order right. But almost every time I go they mess up my order not once but usually twice in a row and I usually give up and don't have them fix it the second time. Well today I had them fix my coffee 3 times and then they also messed up on my food order which left me very very very sick because I have an anaphylactic wheat allergy. Ordered a gluten free lox bagel and after eating a few bites had to leave to go home to take medicine right away and now has ruined my whole day. Sadly will probably be my last time eating at the exchange. I have given them very many chances and when it is good they are great but sadly today has ended in missing work and a swollen throat. The Exchange is overall so welcoming. The staff is very friendly and they take the time to really get to know their customers, even thought it was my first time there. There's a very diverse menu which is cool featuring cocktails, beers, coffee, pastries, soup, etc. Also they sell cute (and I think handmade) jewelry. It's pretty busy in there and you can tell people go there to stay a while, and even then the service was quick. We got our drinks in 2 or maybe 3 minutes after ordering. I ordered the lavender lemonade cocktail and it was so good! The upstairs looked cool too but unfortunately I didn't get the chance to check it out... next time though! read more

The ambience here is nice; busy place on a Saturday morning. But if you are looking for an egg breakfast, and if yolks do a number on your stomach, don't bother coming. They think of "egg whites" as a substitution (even though they said they use fresh eggs) - and guess what? They don't do substitutions. I asked, thinking if it is the same number of eggs it shouldn't matter: the guy at the counter pleasantly said "egg whites are not on the menu, so no" - even though whole eggs are not either ;-) Strange unwillingness to accommodate what must be the most routine breakfast request in America. I've never done a coffee flight before so I was super excited to see that they had one! Two of the drinks are made with Cuban espresso which is on the sweeter side. The other two drinks were a mocha and a cinammon joy latte I believe. They were able to customize mine to my surprise given that each drink is small but they were very accommodating! Went on a coffee marathon and this was our second stop among our journey. We got two of their seasonal lattes. A Golden Honey latte and the Cinnamon Toast latte. Not sure if it is because we got two sized large but the caffeine level was disappointing. The flavors tasted processed and bland. Plenty of seating but uncomfortable.
