They participate in the Too Good to go program. I came on Saturday July 6, 2024 around 1:00 PM. One of my pictures shows them preparing the food fresh.

Good roll! I tried the Hawaii roll and enjoyed it - Especially for being a pre-made roll I thought that the quality was great, and it was super convenient. They had a very nice variety of options - Next time I visit, I think I'll order a fresh roll so I can compare!

He's just not that Intown you. Whenever I am Intown, I have to get some Intown Sushi okay that's not really true. The sushi is not bad but I also think it's a little bit average as far as Sushi goes. They put quite a lot of avocado in a lot of their roles. I mean rolls. But a lot of Hipster actors put a lot of Avocado in their roles, too. It's definitely not aimed at authentic Sushi lovers but at Americanized Sushi eaters which is most of what you get in here cuz it's a tourist place. It's not a destination for Asian people, it's a destination for all sorts of tourists, so they definitely aim at the wider market and the tourist market and the hipster market - and that's what it tastes like to me. Pretty basic hipster sushi with fairly average prices but maybe just over average for a little stand in a market.

Decent considering you are not at a sit down restaurant. The fish was not too bad. Price was slightly higher than average compares to other same style sushi places. It took way longer than expected between the moment I put in an order till I get the food.

Top to bottom: Spicy California Roll, Spicy Tempura Roll, Dragon Roll

Just had Intown for the first time and loved it! Great prices but just as great quality as more expensive Twin Cities sushi restaurants I have tried. 4 stars ONLY because pick up was not ready when scheduled and had to wait a bit.

Momo Sushi is my favorite sushi in Minneapolis. Everytime I get asked for a sushi spot…read morerecommendation, I always say Momo. The rolls are huge and packed with incredible combinations. There is a great variety of rolls so everyone is going to be pleased with the meal. The restaurant itself is tight on space but the dining experience makes up for it. I recommend you beat the dinner rush and go early when they reopen for the evening. Warning, it does get really busy almost everyday because it is just that good! Location-wise it is great because if you struggle to find parking in the small lot next to the spot, you can park on a residential street behind the restaurant and take a short stroll. I'm curious as to what the takeout experience is, I haven't had the chance to order, I would rather dine in the restaurant.

It was fine, we walked through the Indian grocery next door. (also fun!) We had a great little table inside. We ordered the Giaoza pork and tumpra veggies to start. It was less that $60 for our family of 4. I can't wait to come back and try more.

It was extremely packed. There was no place to wait. I got on an electronic waiting list- I was 5th. It was about 7pm? Billy After Dark around the corner was closed that night so they suggested Flora and I went there. I decided to come back when I moved to 3rd place on the waiting list and it was about 8:20pm. They realized I had a reservation and canceled the waitlist and I was given a choice of table but chose to be seated at the sushi bar. I ordered the salmon carpaccio (again) and the tiger maki (again). Both were great. My waiter Conner was very attentive and had a sense of humor. I talked to The manager who was genuinely interested in the weird journey to my seat over the last few hours as a single diner. We didn't solve the voicemail mystery (we called and they picked up. When they didn't pick (as told) up there was a regular business vm. Strange.) Highly recommend. Will return. Make a reservation early on OpenTable. Or be prepared to wait many hours. Don't bother to call ahead early.

Once seated, it was fun to see the menu with the pictures and decide what to order. I got a drink that was beautiful--very carbonated and a little bit bitter in taste. I ordered the bad and boujee roll for one of the rolls and it was SO GOOD! I would highly recommend this roll to anyone ! Sushi was delicious! Would return, just at an earlier time, would maybe reserve at an earlier time and arrive a little early to be seated sooner.

It was far too cold for me to walk anywhere and this was not far from the place I was staying. I was pleasantly surprised as in reading about the sushi train and how it work I felt a bit better about my experience. They have RFIDs on the plates so they know how long it's been going around and then take it off so it doesn't go bad. They had a great variety and there were a couple item that go by on the belt that you have to ask your server for, so you know it is fresh. Not bad if you are looking for decent priced sushi and spending an arm and a leg.

Legit do not know how to feel about this place…read more On one hand, service is pretty okay, conveyor belt sushi is always fun, and this place is large enough that you get a serious conveyor belt experience as it snakes all over the restaurant. On the other, the menu has somewhat different things I am still not sure how I feel about. Peanut butter and jelly sandwich (err, roll?) I guess is a good and welcome attempt to expand to more American palates, even if it seemed odd. There were some cakes or something also out that, well, some seemed like what I expected, some others did not. They clearly labeled things on the plate holders on the conveyor belt (never seen it done quite so, uh, obviously, before), and since they have six tiers of plates (by color), they can price things accordingly as well. Not going to lie, even tho sashimi was pricer and it looked like the coloring was doing a lot of work, it was nice to have a protein-heavy option without the carbs (as much as I love rice...). Speaking of, their rice is actually decent enough in quality. I guess the overall experience is passable enough, even if it wasn't cheap.

There were gnats, yes, but it wasn't bad. But it did strike me that we were warned, but then no mention was made about what to do if the plague descended. Not a good start to the evening. We waited maybe 15 minutes until water arrived, at which point the server said he'd be back to take drink orders. Another 15 minutes later we ordered drinks. We saw them 20 minutes later and ordered then. First round of food arrived 20 minutes after that (arancini, quite good -- the highlight of the meal). But then it was a 40 minute wait until the second round of food came. By this point we were starving. There is simply no reason to have to wait that long for small plates. The same overly familiar server thanked us for our patience, said that he checked on the order assuming it got lost but then was informed that no, it's just slow. I said that, yes, we had been waiting long and that we were getting quite hungry. He assured us our mains would not be that long and then added "Yes, this has been the shift from hell." The mains did arrive more promptly, and they were... fine. The pasta was overcooked by a fair degree, and sauces were of a quality that any decent amateur home cook could make themselves. The pizza had an excellent crust. But when you're paying this much for a meal, you want more than a good pizza pie. Server arrived later saying that to apologize for the wait, desserts would be comped, but then... we waited so long to put in a dessert order we just asked for our check. So: incredibly slow. Service that was overly familiar to the point of reminding us that we were having a terrible time. And then no adequate compensation was made for the fact that we were having an awful time ON MY HUSBAND'S BIRTHDAY, which I had noted when I made the reservation. So, diners beware.
