When done right and properly maintained, touch washes are the only way to get your car clean. This one (touchy-type) is nice because you pull in and stop and then the machines move around the car. It does a great job of washing and a good job of drying. There is a manual pre-wash if you like as well as towels for hand drying afterward if you want. But honestly, it does a good enough job for $10-12 that I don't do any of the manual stuff.

There was no way to tell what to do when approaching the wash like as other car washes that say "stop, etc". I went back and explained the issue to the same cashier but I was told I had to pay again to use the car wash because she already gave me a free service. She addressed me angrily in the presence of other customers. I explained to her my car did not get washed and I had already paid for it the first time. She refused any further assistance. So I ended up paying twice to have my car washed because of an issue with their machine? I have been washing my car at this service center for years. But it now has a new owner and a new car wash and, they are not friendly or helpful!

Now my car requires major repairs through my insurance. And you know what else this made me realize? This could be the reason I had to buy a new car in the first place. I had been going to this same gas station with my previous car and started having issues around March 2025--puttering, stalling, and shutting off. I took it back and forth to the mechanic, but they never thought to check the fuel, even after replacing the fuel pump, and the problems continued. Why? Probably because I kept filling up here without knowing the gas was bad. It became dangerous to drive, so I ended up buying another car in July 2025. And now this car is damaged too. So this is a warning to everyone: if you're having fuel-related issues, have your gas checked, and I would avoid this station. I started doing research and wish I had thought to look into this sooner--it might have saved me. There are multiple public reports of bad or contaminated fuel at this location dating back to late September 2022. I am so mad. I've reported this to all the appropriate resources in hopes of preventing this from happening to others.

The station operator did not check the tank certification date to verify if it qualified for a refill (it was a new tank but he didn't know that). Safety first!
