It's very convenient that this Chevron is right off the freeway and the first gas station that I see when I exit to go home. There are plenty of pumps so it doesn't really get busy. What's frustrating about this place is the car wash, specifically if you have the Chevron Car Wash subscription. It doesn't work here! I submit my feedback to the cashier and all they do is refer me to the Danville location which is about 10 minutes away, 20+ if it's mid day in that traffic because of construction. I like this location and I want to continue to support them, but when I pay 30+ for a car wash subscription, I want it to work at the location that's closest to me. Can I give zero stars? My Dad is 84 years old. He went there to get a car wash. He was told he could not pay with a credit card, that it had to be a debit card. He reluctantly did so and got his car washed. When he got home he looked at his receipt. The receipt said $29.99 Unlimited Recurring with next payment due 6/2/25. He was swindled into a subscription by the employee there who saw an elderly man and took advantage of him. If he had paid with a credit card he would have had recourse with the credit card company. The Chevron Gas Station located at the corner of San Ramon Valley Blvd, and Crow Canyon is the largest and busiest in San Ramon. There are 6 lanes with 18 pumps. Free air and water. A convenience store that sells lottery tickets along with snacks and drinks. The car wash however is awful. The wash only spits out a light mist and your better off using baby wipes to clean your rig. The fuel prices are basically the same for the four gas stations Shell, 76, and Texaco. Positives are the pumps are clean. The station is safe with the San Ramon PD often hanging out there. read more

I went through the car wash at Chevron because I needed to spray the dust on my car off. I used a squeegee to get the the spots off before I went in because the wash never gets it off and when I came out, I inspected the car and found the scratches in the photos attached. This is my neighborhood Chevron and the one I most frequent. Its always brightly lit, clean, and has 18 stations along with carwash and a good-sized Extra Mile convenience store. You can pay using credit card, debit card, gift card, or no card by using Apple Pay/Samsung Pay. Its located at a busy intersection with access to I-680 and Diablo Plaza Shopping. Very easy to get in and out via SRVB or Crow Canyon Rd. Chevron gas tends to be pricier than most other places but there's a reason for that. For cars that I own, I value their Techron additive to protect my engine intake valves. Its also nice to support the home team once in a while too. Since I do not drive a luxury car, regular unleaded is good enough for me. For rental cars and leased cars, we tend to just get the cheapest and most convenient gas. read more

Came here around 1 am last night for coffee, soda, chocolate and swishers. Everything came to $17.50 when he ringed me up. I had 5 dollars cash that I gave and wanted to put the rest on card. My card didn't go through, and that's my fault because I only had $12 on my card and the charge at that point was $12.50. I go back to the car in front of the store to grab 2 more dollars and the line quickly forms. The cashier put in the wrong cash amount and I asked how much additional cash you need. He says 5 and there's 3 people in line at this point. I go back to get 5 so I can put the rest on my card. So far I gave him $12 so it should've been 5 on my card? Wrong. He charged me extra, was cussing under his breath, snapped at a customer and was overall uncomfortable to be around. I know it's my fault that my card declined at first but I believe in good customer service and acting with compassion. Clearly he's not used to handling long lines. When my card somehow didn't go through the second time a woman next to me offered to pay when I told him to cancel the order. "Are you gonna pay for her so I can get the line moving again" sharply "I need to get the line moving again". The people that were in line were cool about it. I even paid the woman the $10 back. (I actually did have enough in my account). He was so frustrated that he kept recounting and putting in the wrong amount. It's embarrassing already being short and no one wants that. I would avoid using the carwash here, it always seems to have problems. Yesterday I brought my car through and it covered the car in soap and sprayed no water on it. The manager closed the carwash for the day. I saw it was open today so I went through to clean all of the dried soap off my car. Same problem, just covered my car in soap and sprayed zero water to get it off. Shame on me for coming back, I guess. They have tons of pumps available compared to the 76 or the Shell a little further down. The prices are fairly competitive for the area. In fact, I was in Sac recently, and the prices there were cheaper. I am so impressed with the superior customer service skills Majamin has. He greets customers with a warm, friendly and genuine smile. He asked the customer in front of me that was purchasing food if he wanted drinks with his food, and he even recommended which drinks. The customer agreed and purchased drinks. I've had hundreds of employees over the years and I have to say Majamin is a keeper. He may be a new employee at Chevron and if I was the DM, I would keep a close eye on him regarding moving up in the company. That's if someone doesn't make him a better offer first. We like Chevron gas so we often come here. However, we typically get our car washed using their drive-thru. Although this newer system (maybe a year old) is not as effective as the old one (reason for 4 stars instead of 5), it does an adequate job - I do have to go home and wipe down the back. First, let me say that the employees are very nice and the store is nice and clean, very well kept. But, do NOT use their car wash. All this car wash does is squirt soap and rinse there are no brushes to actually clean the car. I went thru and got the express wash then went to the front to get a refund since the car was not clean. They do not give refunds on the car wash so they gave me another wash, their most expensive. Three rounds of soap and rinsing and the windows still had dirt on them. The dryers are not positioned properly so the drying starts at the windows instead of the front of the car and hood. I always use chevron gas, and this is a nice big station with free air and water, the inside store has a lot of stuff, I haven't used the car wash. My bad experience was when I tried to use my change (in rolls) to buy gas and the cashier wouldn't take them! I wrote a complaint to chevron about it and about 6 weeks later I heard back from someone who said they went down there and talked to the employees about that incident, so I felt better that somebody actually did something. read more
