Sorry but I don't get the hype. Perhaps all the good reviews are from the Yelp event that they hosted for Elites. The moment we walked in we were overwhelmed by the smell of cigarettes. It was still early so semi-bright and the place did not look clean - perhaps due to the smoke. Anyway we sat down and ordered happy hour drinks and oysters. The drinks were not good. Very watered down with almost no alcohol and tons of syrup. But the biggest let down were the oysters. They were 6 for $10.50 (I think) during hh. They were small, watery, not meaty at all. The truffle fries were frozen packaged fries for sure. The service was fine but the waitress tried to take away our unfinished food and drinks multiple times. Ironic because at the end we actually left with unfinished food and drinks. Sorry IYKYK. We were excited to try this but was an unfortunate letdown :(

Found this spot randomly in Flushing and it was definitely a hidden gem. It was a little hard to find since it's located upstairs above another restaurant, but once inside, the decor was really cool and unique. The Japanese ninja masks throughout the space gave it a great vibe, and they even had a cool magma-style lamp built into the table. The menu is pretty limited, so don't expect a huge selection. We started with the oysters, a burger with fries, and the Bang Bang shrimp. The oysters were fresh and a good size. The burger was juicy and cooked well, but the fries were pretty basic. They also offer hand-cut truffle fries, which are much better, so I'm not sure why they don't ask which option you'd prefer. The Bang Bang shrimp wasn't really my favorite because it was battered more like coconut shrimp, which wasn't what I was expecting. The drinks, however, were refreshing and well made. Service was okay wasn't sure because it was late but was not very attentive. Overall, I'd definitely come back, especially for drinks before a night out. Great pregame spot with a cool atmosphere.

Very cute ambiance but difficult to find. Service was friendly and efficient. My drink the velvet moon was delicious and gave the same vibe as a clarified pina colada. My husband had the draft happy hour beer and enjoyed it. We ordered the popcorn chicken and it was very good and had a non basic seasoning. The burger and velvet moon cocktail were the standout items and I'd be back again specifically for those. Cute date night or small group ambiance.

This bar in Flushing is a good casual spot for drinks and small bites with friends. The interior is cozy, with lots of booths, and good service. My friends and I tried their Flushing Mule and Cucumber + Pepper (specialty cocktails) and they were pretty solid. We also got their fried pickles and truffle fries and I thought both of those were just okay. I wish they had a bigger specialty cocktail menu without so many dark-liquor or rum based drinks. Nonetheless, it was a good casual spot for hanging with friends.

Time and time again, IYKYK serves! Truly the best hidden gem in Flushing. It's tucked away from all the chaos and you really got to look closely to find it... speakeasy vibes. It's dark in there, giving a real sexy vibe. Bartender Kert and all the friends behind the bar really make the drinks nice and strong! Truly what I want whenever I'm at a bar. It's gotta hit me. And when I'm here... it always hits!! Some of the cocktails change with the seasons. This past summer they had an ube martini! And as a Filipina, I heavily approve of that ube martini. I'm looking forward to the warmer seasons again. But for now, the winter menu really popped off. The All I Want for Christmas and Santa's Tiki were IT for me!!!! And pretty for photos too. The food is also very good here. You've got to the DTF grilled oysters and burger... the truffle fries... and the popcorn chicken. Basically, don't skip on this spot when you are doing a Flushing crawl!!!

A very swanky speakeasy cocktail bar, one block off Northern Blvd. The ambiance gives off a, chic and sophisticated vibe. There are limited high tops and banquettes for seating. However, the coolest spot is definitely a seat at the bar! That's where all the action is. Drinks are phenomenal here, each one more unique and pleasing to the senses. My favorite was the clarified Pina Colada type drink called the Velvet Moon. I highly recommend going during Happy Hour which is the best pricing around town. It starts at 5:30pm so grab a seat and enjoy. Not to mention the good eats. Snack sized plates, good for sharing if you're just doing a taste. It's like the pre-dinner or to accompany your drink list. Must try the crispy tuna rice and the lumpia - a twist on the classic, crab meat! And if you're a fan of oysters, do get the grilled oysters. So good. Cheers!

Great new place in Flushing! Just off to the side, great vibes, great drinks and service. They have a creative rotating cocktail menu so I'll keep you guessing year round. Excited to come back for their winter menu in December.

I came here to celebrate my friends bday back in October and we had the most amazing time!! It happened to be one of the workers birthdays too and they passed around some of his cake which I thought was so sweet. The hospitality and service was truly A+!!! We met a few of the workers and ah!! Everyone was so nice. It was such a nice environment and made the night so much better. We had a variety of cocktails and food to share. I got the kiss&tell and enjoyed that but all their cocktails were delicious. The small snacks were also enjoyable with our beverages. Cannot wait to come back here for a normal date night, girls night, celebratory night, anything!

This is my second time here! Came for a yelp event and of course it never disappoints! Mac is the hostess with the mostest! He really takes pride in his business with the service and the food! Everything was delicious! The drinks a little strong for those that don't drink...lol! But they were good. I love the lighting and the music, a few chairs and tables because it's a small space, but it's so cute! I love it here! This has become one of my go to spots for good music, good food and good drinks...Just give yourself time to circle around the block for parking, it is flushing! 10/10, would definitely recommend!

When we first arrived, I didn't expect the place to be that small--but it turned out to be really clean and nicely laid out. The booths fit around 4 people comfortably (maybe 5 if you squeeze in), and the cool Japanese-inspired interiors with masks were a nice touch. We tried mostly fried dishes. Starting with the lumpia--so filling and with a delicious Filipino twist! Loved it right away. Next was the coconut shrimp, perfectly crispy and even better with the mayo dip. The popcorn chicken was savory and satisfying, and the sliders were a hit--the bread was soft, and the meat was tender and juicy. Overall, such a hidden gem! I'll definitely be coming back.

This is definitely Queens speakeasy gem tucked away in flushing! Beautiful and lovely decor. The service was excellent and was able to meet Mac who was very accommodating and gave us a complimentary cereal shot flight that was delish. I had the smash burger which was delicious and my lady and I shared the chicken popcorn thighs good seasoning! And the oysters fresh and delicious.I had the Carmel old fashioned that hit the spot and the lady at the lychee martini which she enjoyed as well. Overall, I will definitely be back here. Everything was 10/10!! Definitely come check them out!

So I absolutely love this place. I'm so glad I went there last night. First of all Liz is an amazing bartender and Worker. I also want to say this is the cutest trendiest decor and it's everything right with Flushing Queens. My cocktails were to die for they were fun, inventive creative, and the food. There was all clean and delicious. I highly recommend every single thing that I got it was delicious. My drinks were delicious. My food was delicious. I also wanna say I checked my blood sugar and my blood sugar was not raised by anything. I ate here 10 out of 10 I'll be back.

A NEW Speakeasy has arrived!! And you don't have to travel to the city to visit? I love Manhattan but sometimes I am just not in the mood for the troop or the crowds so I was so happy to see the speakeasy pop up in Flushing, Queens. ANNDD it's in an area with decent parking so it's accessible in multiple ways. I highly recommend the happy hour deals. We went in and got some oysters and some delicious drinks. The ambience was delightful. Our server was great at suggesting dishes that we would enjoy. If you know, you know! IYKYK is such a cool speakeasy -- you'd never expect what's behind the door. The wall of masks sets the mood, and from there it's perfection. The bartender Kert is an artist with cocktails (highly recommend the Kiss & Tell and the Evening Coffee). Food-wise, every dish impressed me: the seafood lumpia was delicate and flavorful, and the bánh mì tacos were bursting with crunch and spice. It's rare to find a place where the drinks and food are equally amazing -- but IYKYK nails it. Highly recommend for date night or a chill night out with friends. read more

You wouldn't expect such a classy looking bar on Farrington but there it is! The food and drinks are all top-notch and you can tell that each cocktail had a lot of thought put into it. Mack does an amazing job with giving you the best experience possible at his establishment. After finding this bar on Yelp, we had to go try it! It is the loveliest speakeasy in downtown Flushing. Super low key and chill vibes plus amazing food and drinks. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, even offering to make our chicken wings spicier (since we love spice). Our waitress always came back to make sure we had water, which was seriously appreciated after all the drinks we had. This is our new favorite bar and we will definitely be back! read more

Warm atmosphere and great drinks. The owner Matt was very personable. We had the seasonal cocktails, the santa tiki and naughty nog. Santa Tiki is highly recommended if you enjoy absinthe and chartreuse. We had a small serving of the velvet moon as well. The drink went down very smooth. Definitely should mark this as a destination for anybody looking for speakeasy bars when dropping by flushing read more

We had a great date night dinner yesterday during the soft open. The decor was modern and sleek - what you would expect from a speak-easy type joint. The food we tried was a hit - we had the sweet potato fries, banh mi fish tacos, pork crab lumpia, raw and grilled oysters, and the IYKYK burger. Our favorites were the lumpia and fish tacos. The lumpia were perfectly crispy on the outside and meaty but tender on the inside giving the perfect bite with the dipping sauce adding the perfect sweet complement. Banh mi fish tacos were also standout - the pickled radish and carrots that you typically find in a Vietnamese banh mi sandwich paired perfectly with the fried fish filet and spicy mayo sauce. We also tried almost the entire cocktail menu! My favorite by far was the Kiss + Tell, a refreshing citrusy grapefruit based cocktail. Must try! Kert the bartender was awesome and knowledgeable in explaining all the drinks as we went down the menu. Service from the staff was great as well, we'll definitely be looking to stop by again.
