Came right back to this super cute great breakfast spot! Excellent counter service with Rae. She made us a perfect Bloody Mary!!I I ordered the same Swedish pancake breakfast and my BF ordered and enjoyed every bite of the chili cheese omelette. We will try the lunch side soon!!

I love this cafe! The food is always very fresh and served quickly. The ambiance is friendly and neighborly. The service cannot be beat your cup is alway refilled and your waitress continuously check on you.

Eggs Benedict. Hollandaise is pretty good, has browns cooked flat and crispy, muffin toasted and coffee pretty good. Eggs undercooked

This used to be a good place but now, between the smaller portions and the waitress drama with two of them, I'm done. The new waitress who used to be a busser is really nice as is the woman with the German accent but there are two of them who are interested more in their referent power than serving customers. You can wait a long time during the meal if they want to talk to each other or customers who are friends.

We've been meaning to try Izzy's Cafe for a while, so we decided to try it this morning. We arrived a little before 10:30am. Plenty of parking on street and parking lot next door. We walked in and noticed it was a little loud but not overly crowded. You can tell they get alot of regulars here and we are about to become regulars ourselves. One of the waitresses said we can sit wherever, which I liked having an option. My husband ordered the strawberry stuffed crepes and I ordered the eggs benedict with hashbrowns. We both ordered coffee and liked the coffee. My husband says he liked his strawberry stuffed crepes, but they were very basic and nothing special about them. I loved my eggs benedict and hashbrowns. The waitresses were all very nice, it was a decent price too. They have a huge menu, so we will definitely be back again to try their lunch menu next.

Good basic diner/cafe. Prices are fair. Service is okay. If in the neighborhood I'd return.

It's a walk-up, order and pay first kind of place, then you grab a seat, which was super easy and casual. The person taking my order was incredibly nice and patient while I figured everything out. Honestly, all the food I saw coming out looked amazing, which made it even harder to choose. They have plenty of seating both inside and outside, including a really nice covered patio, which I loved. The service really stood out to me. Even though you order up front, the servers were very attentive and came by multiple times to check on us and offer drink refills, which you don't always get in this type of setup. I ordered the steak plate with mushrooms and mashed potatoes, and everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The mushrooms were especially good. The only small thing was I wish the food had been a little hotter when it came out, but the taste definitely made up for it. My only other note is I wish they had unflavored iced tea. All the options were flavored, and since I'm not a soda drinker, that would've been nice to have. Overall, such a great first visit. Great food, great service, and a really comfortable atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

Captain's Log, Stardate 21479…read more This past Thursday, I set my coordinates for Crafted Greens in El Cajon, marking my first voyage to this culinary outpost. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this establishment is a beacon of quality where customers are treated like royalty--kings and queens among the stars. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Faris, an amazing man who takes tremendous pride in his craft, much like a captain leading his crew through the final frontier. His dedication to providing exceptional service elevated the entire experience, making our meal feel like a delightful exploration into flavor worthy of the finest missions in Starfleet. As my wife indulged in an extraordinary salad, I embarked on a journey with one of the best burgers I've encountered in my culinary travels--crafted from Wagyu beef. The flavor was nothing short of a cosmic explosion in my mouth, a continuous burst of taste that was akin to discovering new life and new civilizations. Ordinarily, I would enhance a burger with condiments, but this masterpiece was prepared so well, it left me thinking, "I'm a doctor, not a condiment technician!"--it was superb, worthy of the finest dining experiences in the galaxy. During our meal, the jolly owner Faris made his rounds, transporting himself to our table with a smile, sharing complimentary in-house made chips paired with his heavenly homemade hummus. Now, as a traveler who has sampled hummus across the cosmos, I must admit that I am not typically a fan; however, this unique creation captivated my taste buds and transformed my perspective. It was certainly not illogical to enjoy such a delightful surprise--if only Spock were here to analyze this! If you ever find yourself drifting through El Cajon with a hunger for healthy sustenance or simply wish to try something new, Crafted Greens is the place to be. This is a destination I foresee haunting for many moons to come--ready to boldly go where no flavor enthusiast has gone before! Live long and prosper. End log. Captain 619

My husband and I have driven past many times and always felt curious. So finally we made a stop on our way home. Let me just say, it did not disappoint! The workers were very friendly and patient with us while we decided on what to order. Once we finished ordering, they actually let you play a game of chance to see if your meal is free! Roll the dice and if you get double fives it's on them. I did not win but I thought that was fun! I cannot stress this enough, the food was amazing! It's definitely a MUST try! Just be warned; cause like I said before this is a food cart in the parking lot of a liquor store. Nothing wrong with it but there isn't a lot of sit down options or anything like that. So if you're looking for a place to stay a while and sit to enjoy your meal. This place might have to wait for another day!

They offer their signature Bomb…read moreBuns, Bomb Bun Bowls, loaded fries, smash beef burgers, grilled chicken wraps, and beef shawarma wraps. What really makes them stand out is their use of Hot Cheetos and Doritos throughout the menu. We decided to try the Hot Cheeto Beef Burger ($12.99), which comes with a smashed beef patty, pickles, caramelized onions, arugula, Swiss cheese, Rizzo sauce, and fries underneath the burger. I ordered mine without pickles and added avocado. Presentation-wise, it was just okay. It definitely looked better on the menu. The burger came out looking a little rushed and the bun wasn't centered. Not a huge deal, but it didn't have that wow factor I was expecting. Service was pretty transactional from start to finish. Nothing negative, but there wasn't much interaction beyond taking the order and handing out the food. As for the burger itself, I have mixed feelings. It wasn't bad at all, but it didn't quite live up to the concept. The beef tasted fresh and good quality. I really liked the avocado addition. It added a nice richness and freshness that balanced everything out. I just wish there had been more caramelized onions because they were barely noticeable. Oh and no clue where the arugula went. My biggest issue was that the Hot Cheetos didn't really do much for the burger itself. Most of that flavor ended up on the fries, so the burger never really delivered the wow factor I was expecting based on the name and photos. Ironically, the fries ended up being my favorite part of the meal. The Hot Cheeto flavor came through much more there, and I liked that there was melted cheese underneath with their signature sauce throughout. They felt more like loaded fries than a side dish and honestly stole the spotlight from the burger. Everything tasted fresh and the portions were fair. For me, it landed right in the middle. Decent, but not something I'd specifically go out of my way for again.

There must have been at least a dozen kids or more. I told my 7 year old son not to bring balls but of course other kids did. If you park in the back there is no doubt your car will get hit. But it's softballs, not baseballs. Service is legit. Fast, friendly. They're like get in, order, get out. But we stayed for probably an hour and a half. The live music was great, not too loud. I am sad to confess the food here is not as legit as I figured based on being a San Diego local and a big DDD watcher. It probably depends on which day you come, but on Thursday, the brisket was so average. Del's in Del Cerro is better. Smoky and the Brisket is better. I had my brisket served with that nacho cheese and relish, not nearly as great as I thought it would be based on DDD. I also don't drink anymore, but if I were to have had 2-3 beers + this dinner + the enviornment I would have loved it. My son gave a huge thumbs up to his burger, daughter liked her food. If you want an experience, have time you need to kill and have kids, it's a solid spot, but in no way is this a destination if you live west of the 15. Stick to classic spots.
