Pfffffffffffffff. Dude. Best Detroit style pizza ever!!!!! ...in Omaha????? Yes!!!! Got a sausage 6x6 Lil' Fella. It was enough, but it was so good I want more! Quality toppings. Amazing sauce. Cooked to perfection. There is parking next to it. Limited seating. Great prices. And super friendly staff! Can't wait to come back to Omaha...said anyone that has tried Izzy's pie!!!!!!

Heard a lot of good things about this pizza place. They were also featured on the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives show so I had to give it a try!! We got all the pizzas that were featured on the show (Red Harvest, Miss Mona, and Honeypeno). We ordered online and they finished exactly on the time that they said they would. The staff were nice and welcoming when we came to pick-up or pizzas. Love the vibes in there. I do love me a good Detroit styled pizza and they really came through with this one. Also, very filling!! I gotta say I was surprised that my favorite ended up being the Miss Mona because I don't bacon but wow that was good. I don't know how they do it but that dough they make is addicting. So delicious!!

Always love their pizza! The bread is like eating a cloud in the best way possible. Just the most perfect dough. Full of flavor and seasoning that puts itself higher than most pizzas you get. Definitely would recommend putting in your order before hand. Small amount of seating inside and have an outside eating area as well.

Millions of peaches was the special this week and it is SPECIAL! Oh my goodness I would eat this every week if I could. The "deez knots" are also great and our daughter's cheese pizza was delightful, too. Next time we will most likely get it to go because we are fortunate to live less than ten minutes away and the bugs on the patio got the best of me, but the food is worth transporting anywhere!

Wow!!! I really think this is the best pizza in Omaha !! Staff is very friendly . Small and clean but there's plenty of seating outside. You get four large squares ...I was stuffed after one slice. A variety of toppings . I would definitely recommend!

The pizzas here are delicious. It's my first time trying Detroit-style pizza and this is definitely a great impression to start with. Their crust is somewhat similar to focaccia that it's bouncy, thick and good. Their toppings are generous and most importantly, the flavor is on point. We've tried different flavors and they don't disappoint. In addition, their staffs are very friendly and made us feel welcomed even when they are busy with the orders. Will definitely visit again.

Izzy's opening a storefront downtown is a game changer for me. I love their pizza so much- some of my favorite in Omaha. There isn't much seating inside (especially in winter when their outdoor seating can't be utilized) so we always order for takeout. If i'm being honest, of my favorite parts is the ranch. Wow, they have good ranch. I love pizza and ranch, so places that have exceptionally good ranch always rank high on my list. We always get the Detroit Style pizza. We've had the Miss Mona pizza several times now and it's always a favorite. I also tired one with vodka sauce, which wasn't as good, but still delish. Highly, highly recommend if you're looking for good pizza in omaha!!

Oh man.......I've been hearing about this place via friends and social media for a while and I was FINALLY able to try it out a couple weeks ago. I was scrolling through some social media on a brisk Friday morning and boom, I see a post from Izzy's. I wasn't following them at the time so I'm not sure how it popped up in my feed but it had to be fate. I never go out to eat during the week but something was calling me........a delicious, Detroit-style, made to order pizza. I drove to Izzy's, guided by my man Googs......(Google Maps). I park and head inside to place my order. When I walked in, I was greeted with a pleasant 'Hello', which is always nice. After much consideration, I ordered the Red Harvest. It was going to be about 20 minutes until my pizza was ready so I took a nice walk around the neighborhood. I finally got my text so I quickly walked back to Izzy's, grabbed my pizza, and headed back to my house. When I got home, I opened the box and dear God was it beautiful! It could definitely feed two people and it equated to about 1.5 meals for me, which is pretty good since I eat a lot. I was a tad surprised by the price AT FIRST but given the size, amazing quality, how its fresh and made to order, and how the pizza was flipping amazing, it was totally worth it, both for the money and my 25 minute drive. Oh Izzy's.........this is just the beginning of a long and tasty friendship. Can't wait to go back and try another pizza! I'll see you soon.....

Go Detroit!! I know you produce most of the cars we drive, but I had no idea that your style of pizza was so delicious. It's like a combination of two of the greatest comfort foods in the world; pizza and casseroles! Against my better judgment, I conceded to someone's request to order the Mr Blue Sky. A pie with apples, blue cheese and some other kind of magic. Did not sound appealing, but it was amazing! The second pie was combination of the four food groups. Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and black olives. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Went to pick it up and the staff was welcoming upon entry. The pizzas are being made behind glass and they seem to have a really good culture. Not a ton of seating inside. Maybe room for 12 people to eat at small to top tables. The Detroit style was cut into four large pieces, but the pizza is very filling. They also have a grandma style pizza which is thinner and seemingly larger. Probably the same amount of dough but just spread out with more toppings. Very happy I found this place. I will be back.

Great pizza. Being from New York I have pretty high standards for pizza. And Izzy's didn't disappoint. Only complaint is the pricing is pretty high for what you get. But again that's from comparing to NY. Still delicious and highly recommended. Great flavors. Would come back to try more items.

First time there today and wow this place was SO good. It definitely hit the spot and I will be coming back for more as soon as I can. I got the Vanilla Ice with a side of Marinara Sauce. I ate 1/2 with and the other 1/2 without and it really doesn't need the marinara but it's still pretty good. Should note that it's made to order and can take a while - like 25-40, depending on how busy. There's some seating around if you need to wait for your order but not a lot.

All I have to say is wow. The Detroit style blew me away with its crispy edges, perfect cheese to sauce ratio, and excellent toppings. I recommend the Honeypeno if you like a sweet heat pizza! I'll be back!

They took longer then their quote time. wayyyy off. The pizza when we got them they were so greasy they were soggy. So the %15 tip they received previously to delivery of the food was VERY GENEROUS especially for the shitty food & rude customer service. Not a good first experience. read more

There are not enough stars!!! I ordered 3 pizza's tonight because I was not going to decide on just one! My husband and youngest are classic pizza guys, they shared a pepperoni. My oldest prefers cheese pizza, but also doesn't eat leftovers much so if I was going to have leftovers we were going for the Vanilla Ice. I always get the Miss Mona, because I don't have to share...or so I thought. My husband took a slice of MY PIZZA and decided he liked it. That's gonna cause some issues! Had a rough week, so we ordered online and I went to pick up pizza. This is the first time I've been in the new shop. I had ordered many times from the bus, but this was fun too! I tried to get there a little early to watch the magic happen, but thanks to Omaha 6:00 traffic, I got the text my pizza's were done as I pulled into the parking lot. I walked in and was greeted immediately and thanked 3 times on my way out. The shop is small as advertised, but I LOVED the window wall so you could watch pizza being made. I can't wait until my next visit and I will try to time things a little better! read more

My Cousin has been telling about this pizza for quite some time and I just never could imagine how good a pizza can be coming off a food truck but, boy, was I blown away. You have to keep up with them online to see where they're going to be and they finally happened to be in my neck of the woods in Henderson. I placed an order the night before -- which is cool. I added some special instructions and they got it right to the T. I ordered the Harvest pizza (sans the honey/ half cheese, half meat) which came in under $20 after taxes. Now, I've had some other Detriot style pizzas in Vegas recently and they were all let downs. I was starting to think, Detriot style just wasn't my style BUT upon my first bite here -- the crunch of Izzy's delicious buttery crust sounded as if I stepped on some autumn leaves. I knew, then and there, I was in for a tasty ride. The pappadew peppers gave it this dope sweet & spicy kick for a few bites. (Will for sure order EXTRA peppers my second time around) And the pepperoni was flavorful and not too salty. No other local Detriot style pizza can compare. Wherever this bus is headed next -- I'm hoping on! Definitely coming back soon. read more

Well once again......they run out of pre orders almost instantly, which shows the demand and the love made into these Pies! Great taste and great ingredients....however they have not invested back in their business with the means to keep up with demand. I hope when they leave.... Khoury's finds a replacement that is able to fill the quality void but is able to sustain the demand which has been presented to them for a venue which continues to support them! Khoury's seems to be the only place where they have such a prominent following. I wish them the BEST of Luck!!! I'm sure they will do great in a smaller market. Was told one hour for pizza and at the two hour mark was told 10 more minutes......I wish them the best! Got my refund quickly and efficiently l. ....an update to my update after your response....As a business owner I certainly hope you would learn from your short comings and build atop of them and become a better business . You feeling sorry for me being DISAPPOINTED, not angry or upset in your business practices is nothing more than not realizing the short comings of your business, a better response would be "We are looking into different strategies to better serve our devoted fans". AS previously stated I ordered @ 526pm (26 minutes after opening) and was told 1hour wait, no problem. At the two hour mark I was told sorry maybe about 10 more minutes. It's hard to believe a business that could not hit the original goal and was given a 60 minute extension. I was polite and generous and gave your product great review, even gave you great kudos for the quick refund. However in these tough times where we as consumers fight high inflation and many other food options available I certainly hope when you leave Las Vegas you consider this when moving forward! Maybe ask yourself how you would feel in the customers position. read more

Finally! got the chance to try Izzy's, it ended up being even better than I could of imagined. When I arrived to the bus Cherish was super helpful getting my order together and Brett made up the pizza and was super friendly and awesome. Once the pizza was ready and I got my first bite I loved the delicious crust and flavor of the sauce.. my favorite was the Honey Peno which I added ricotta to it.. but the pepperoni & red harvest were both good.. if you want ingredients see below.. I went to this festival just to try this pizza and now I plan to make it a point to continue to see where they are at to eat some more pizza on my cheat days.. This review is long overdue because this pizza is soooo good! I love pizza. I love anything with cheese etc. but usually I'm a thin New York style gIrl. So when I saw that this pizza was a deep dish style, I was hesitant. So glad I tried it! The crust was deep but airy? I don't know how to describe but is so good. I ate the whole thing. No crust leftovers like I usually have-it's the best part on this pie! I'll drive across town to get some now! I like my pizza how I like 1 star reviews. Ridiculous. Ridiculously good! This pizza is bomb and worth checking out. They have preorder options if you get lucky before it's sold out otherwise they have walk ups once they are at the location for the night. I've never waited more than 35 minutes for a pizza at walk up but if they are busy there could be a longer wait. Either way it is worth it. I recommend the baby love from their regular menu. Or they have rotating specials. If you see the BOMP or Miss Mona get them! Soooo delicious. And add hot honey Also they have meatball subs too and wow. Try one of those too. And this is a small business so you are helping a man and his beautiful family live their dream. Keep up the great work guys! read more

Ok so I ve been following them for months on IG. They jump around a lot being a food truck. The pizza looks so good. Today they posted up at silverton casino as today Vegas opened back up. First in line at 3pm and quoted 20 mins.. 40 mins later pizza comes up and I'm in FB so I get it. This pizza ruins Detroit red top at pizza rock. Honey peno was 10/10. I have been following this food truck via IG for months and finally was able to go yesterday. Hands down some of the BEST pizza I have ever had. The crust is perfect and the baked cheese to the edge of every slice is divine! We tried a few including: Vanilla Ice (added chicken), pepperoni, cheese, and the vodka sausage monthly special. There's no picking favorites because they're all delish! Will definitely be back & recommend ordering ahead if ya can! read more

Finally a place in Vegas that lives up to the hype. I expected good. It was great. Dough was nicely risen, perfectly holey but still cooked. Sauce was excellent tomato and a nice combination of spices. Cheese was quality. Pepperoni too. So good with beer. Who knew? read more

One of the best pizzas I ever had!!! The Red Harvest, the Figgy, the vodka sausage! They are friendly, have a good system with ordering ahead for pick up and take out, and pop up around town at spots that make it convenient. Happy they found a home in north Las Vegas Blvd. Will be at the top of my pizza rotation:) read more

Preorder is the way to go. We specified in the comments that it would be reheated the next day, and they put together a thoughtful kit with toppings on the side that wouldn't reheat well. Had the Red Harvest again the other night and I still stand by saying it's the best pizza I've ever had. You are doing great things. We will miss you guys!! read more

I have been seeing pics of their pizzas all over the gram. The bus was going to be in my neighborhood so I had to give it a try. I placed my order early that morning. I was so excited all day waiting for my pickup time. The ordering system is great. I picked my time, ordered my pizzas. I had not idea what to expect. I get there and check my order. The website even tells you where your pizza is in the ordering process and a countdown. My mouth was watering every minute that it was getting closer to pick up time. Amazingly I even get a text. Telling me my pizza was ready for pick up. This could not be more newb friendly!! I went to the window of the bus and picked up my order. The man was very nice. He's like "I just pulled it out of the oven!" Omg my pizza even has a name. I already feel like my order counts to this business. I take it home , my car filled with the smell of this delicious pizza. I open the box. Omg even the box is cute!! And I have to say... the pizza was the best pizza I have had since like... forever. Literally the MOST AMAZING PIZZA EVER. We go here just about every other week, every bite I take is followed with a "mmmmm yup that's good." We fell in love with the Baby Love pizza and have been ordering multiples every time we come! We even sometimes order an entire extra pizza knowing that we will be able to save it for lunch tomorrow. Was there earlier today and someone ordered a majority of the pizza after only a seven minute wait with about twenty people in front of me. That is just incompetence on the owners. I would have ordered online but they were sold out online as well. This was a waste of time and I won't make this effort again. They think it is funny to waste the customer's time by having no concept of time or budgets and in reality makes them look stupid. If they were smart, and had a fixed number of pizzas left(in their case fifty left for walk ins), then limit it to one per person. Not gonna ever do it again. read more

The sauce on their Margherita pizza was probably the best Roma-based sauce I've had. My daughter had the breakfast pizza and made similar remarks. I wanted a bite of the pepperoni but my 5-year-old granddaughter scarfed it up before I had a chance. I'll definitely return if I'm ever in the Omaha area again.

I warned you... The exterior of Mootz is basically the same as all of Countryside Village (which is probably a requirement), but the inside is a different story! The interior is all white and bright, and super clean. They really let the food and service do the talking without needing to dress the place up (which I appreciate!) The star of the show is their Acunto brick oven. It's gigantic, with white tile, and their Mootz name at the top. They had it made in Naples and it was definitely worth doing that for this amazing centerpiece of the space. And the oven is not just for looks, it puts out some of the best pizza I have ever had. I am not usually a fan of pizza crust, and only eat the main "body" of each slice, but at Mootz, even the dough and crust is flavorful and tasty! It has a salty and (super) semi-sweet flavor. It makes each slice all the better. That's just an example of how much they obviously care about the product they are producing. We got to chat with many of the staff, including Mootz himself, his dad, and others, who were all extremely welcoming, kind, and helpful. My husband and I are doing the ABCs of Omaha restaurants we haven't been to yet, and Mootz was our M pick. We didn't plan to tell them that's what we were doing, but when two people are ordering two whole pizzas, there's a little bit of explanation needed - LOL! Once they knew that was what we were doing, they made sure to help us pick the slices to try that they loved best, and based on what we were craving. What's great about Mootz is that you can order just a single slice of a certain flavor, or get a full pie of different flavored slices. Because of this, we were able to try 8 different flavors of pizza! We ordered slices of the Buffalo Chicken, Cheeseburger, Chicken Alfredo, and Jalapeño Oaxaca for one pizza, and then the second pie we did a lot of the normal pizza flavors, so slices of the Cheese, Pepperoni, Supreme, and Margherita. They were ALL fantastic (and I am not exaggerating), but our favorites were the Cheeseburger, Buffalo Chicken, Margherita, and Jalapeño Oaxaca. I'm a cheeseburger girlie and I achingly missed the Cheeseburger Pizza that Pizza Shoppe (RIP) used to have. But no more missing that flavor - the Mootz version is so great, it has satiated that craving! The Buffalo Chicken was BOMB! Not too spicy of a buffalo at all, and the chicken is juicy and flavorful. They make their own Ranch too, and the Buffalo Chicken dipped in that was perfection. (And in mentioning the house made ranch, we also had a side salad that we shared, with that ranch, and it was awesome - very well dressed and with lots of veggies!) The Jalapeño Oaxaca was a fave because I appreciated the heat that the jalapeño gave, and the crema on top giving it a creaminess that counterbalanced the spiciness. The surprise of the day was the Margherita! I normally don't order Margherita pizza just because it's not too full of toppings or flavor usually - but that's not the case at Mootz. The dough being so flavorful works wonderfully with their delicious pizza sauce, basil, and SO much cheese (parm, Romano, mozzarella). It's a lighter slice if you aren't wanting anything too heavy, but that doesn't mean it's not big on flavor! And to round out the meal, they have some awesome desserts too. We tried the tiramisu and the chocolate chip cookies. Tiramisu is my favorite dessert, but my husband on the other hand does not super enjoy it (since he's not a coffee lover). But we BOTH loved the tiramisu at Mootz! It comes in a little cup and it's almost "crumbled" (vs layered, like a normal tiramisu slice), which gives each bite a little bit of each layered flavor. Yum! The chocolate chip cookies were on point too; chewy, sweet, soft, and definitely homemade. We made a great decision to try Mootz for our M restaurant, because it was so dang amazing. Here's a review update for you and the douchebag below. Still 5 stars, still the best pizza in Vegas, and likely the best pizza I've ever had even outside of Vegas. Unfortunately Vegas is becoming a cesspit of selfish morons moving here ever since the pandemic hit, so take the 1 star reviews you see with a very small grain of salt.
