Would not recommend at all based upon the school age program. Far better options in the area.

Though the staff is friendly, and they do an above-average job with instruction, the place is extremely expensive and offers no sort of discount for families with multiple children attending or ones who have attended for many years, returning day after day. Luckily my sons are old enough to not have to deal with daycare anymore and I can save a little. My advice to others is to definitely shop around before enrolling here.

My son was dismissed from the program with zero conversations with the administration staff. As a…read moreparent I worked closely with his teacher to understand how to help advocate for my son through early intervention with speech and OT. His teacher was wonderful and I have nothing but amazing things to say about her. I was a parent who knew my child needed additional services and fought hard for them. Tots only did things like suggest he move to the 3s classroom (when he wasn't close to 3 nor potty trained which a requirement for them). That's setting children up for failure. Again, any conversation was had directly with his teacher never with one person from the administration. I found a new daycare for my son that would be better suited for his needs and let Tots know that I'd be withdrawing him in ~8 weeks. I was met with a response of "well I'm not sure how much you heard but we want your son out of the program much sooner". That was the extent of his dismissal conversation. The main teacher was great. The turnover of the other 2 teachers in his classroom was over 4-6 in less than 2 years. The administration should advertise that they don't accept children who might need additional support. Would never recommend anyone send their child here. 2 stars... If it were just his teacher, she'd get 5.

Having just moved here not to long ago, we were looking for a quality, attentive and supportive care for our 3 y/o boy..... Of course, it wasn't difficult to make the right decision to bring our Riley and trust him in the more than capable and educated staff of Happy Hours Child Care.... It's been 4 months now and he is thriving in an environment that is as structured and allowing him to blossom into the boy he needs to be. I still wanted her to get used to a school setting, socializing and keep her learning. So I decided to give Happy Hours a shot. After meeting with Helene and Christine , getting a tour of the place, meeting the teachers, and being reassured that she would be fine there I decided to go ahead and register her. Best decision I made!!! All there teachers were kind, loving, understanding, kept me updated with her daily activities even go as far as to send you pics throughout the day. My daughter has gained so much from learning and building friendships, being prepared for kindergarten ,And most importantly she LOVES her teacher!!! I am more than satisfied. I highly recommend them!! And we will definitely be back for summer camp!!!

Our child had a hard time starting preschool at 3 years old at another place. I did a little…read moreresearch, and came across the school online. We sent an inquiry and by the end of the week we completed a tour with our child. He was then able to go without any difficulty. The school does a great job of communicating, facilitating, and planning. The kids do so many fun & engaging little activities and it's been a blessing to watch our son learn and grow there!

OMG, where should I start with this place. I can go on and on. First of all, I agree with…read moreeverything CL stated on her review. Second, I would not recommend this childcare because in my experience the staff seemed to have no experience working with rambunctious toddlers, and they get upset easily when the child misbehaves, oh and here's the kicker, they start texting the parent for everything the child does wrong and then calls for the child to be picked up. We have all the text to prove it. Third, I sensed something not right when I went to pickup my grandson. One of the staff let me in because my grandson was sick and I had to go pick him up, that is when I walk into the classroom and seen my grandson was laying down, and I noticed the children seemed bored, and the staff sitting around just watching the kids, so sad, we have pictures the teachers sent my daughter to prove it. My grandchild looked so sad and bored. I guess that's one of the reason's why they don't let parents in to pick up the children. A few days after that my grandchild didn't want to go to daycare anymore, his excitement to go has dimmed. One evening my grandchild told my daughter and me that his teacher grabbed his arm really hard. At that point, with all that is going on in daycares, we decided to pull my grandchild out for safety reasons. Lastly, I've been told that it's been difficult to get in contact with the owner. Even my grandson's speech therapist said it was hard to get in contact with her. I was told she has other daycare sites. I hope that the owner becomes more involved with her staff and find ways that will nip this before things get worst at this daycare. My daughter and I are happy that my grandson is not going back.

Alicia, who runs this small, intimate daycare, is so wonderful with all of the children, and she very quickly became a beloved member of our family. My daughter instantly warmed up to her when we came by to check out her house, the rooms, etc., and felt right at home. My daughter has been going here two days a week for almost a year now, and Alicia has always been absolutely fantastic. Her rates are fabulous, and she is one of the few that offers drop-in daycare services, flexible drop-off/pick-up times (e.g., we drop my daughter off at 11:30 one day a week, and sometimes it is a little earlier or later with no issue), and incredibly fair and competitive rates. This daycare is also licensed by the state of NY (which was very important to me) and Alicia was incredibly friendly and welcoming when I first called her last June with a 12 month old. (if you have an under 2 and you are looking for daycare, you will know why this is important. Many others in the nearby area were very rude and/or unwelcoming when I said I had an infant!) This facility has never had any violations, which is also incredibly important. All in all, I highly recommend - she is really a fantastic daycare provider, and makes it seem like it's just one of the family watching her. I couldn't be more grateful that we found this place!
