However, we had only the basic builder grade laminate countertops and sink fixtures . Recently we did a major refresh of our kitchen, and Granite Vision Ashburn took the lead on the work. I didn't need a full kitchen remodel; we kept the Cherry cabinets and dark Bruce hardwood floors. I looked for contractors to replace the countertops, do the plumbing, install under-counter lighting, and install a tile backsplash. I could do some of the light work myself, including changing drawer pulls, installing new light fixtures in places where they already were installed, and painting. I visited a couple different fabricators but they didn't particularly impress me with their enthusiasm, products, or interest in my project. One specifically said it's up to me to coordinate with a plumber for all the plumbing work myself. I saw Granite Vision Ashburn's road sign ad and decided to give them a call. From the first call from Peter and Scott I knew that they were dedicated professionals. Also, they were obviously enthusiastic about my project. I got the feeling that they wanted my kitchen to be something special, not just another job. They were able to help us select exactly the color Granite we wanted from a very large selection, and they fabricated and installed it beautifully. They took the lead on all the coordination with other contractors to do the plumbing, under- and over- counter lighting, and tile installation and it was like a one stop shop for me the homeowner. All the contractors they recommended did top notch excellent work. They were in and out on the same day with our countertops. The edge cut is beautiful on our island and bar. Our kitchen is absolutely gorgeous now thanks to Granite Vision Ashburn. Their price was 100% fair and they even got us a substantial discount on the tile. As a bonus they were able to cut an unused part of our slab to be used for the base of our fireplace some time in the future. The renovation included lowering the concrete ceilings by 6 inches in the entire unit so sheetrock and recessed lighting could be installed. New tile, hardwood floors, bedroom carpeting, and, heated patio floor were part of this extensive renovation. New wiring and plumbing along with complete kitchen and bathroom renovations were completed. This included removing and moving some walls and adding closets and renovating other closets, as well as all new doors for existing closets, all new light fixtures, vanities, and toilets. The remodel included new tile throughout both bathrooms, including new shower doors and tile. Firuze's design center has the most comprehensive and unique collection of granite, marble, and floor and wall tiles when compared to any others in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The first question we are asked when visitors enter our condo for the first time is, "Where did you find your countertops, cupboards, and floor tile." The quality and value we received were outstanding. Other companies just quoted me at around $12k, but Ada provided a very competitive quote at almost half the cost. There were multiple stone supplier around the corner for me the pick the stone I like. The process was smooth. The team is also very professional. I wanted to add a waterfall to my current island layout and another company said it wasn't possible, but Ada's team made it happened beautifully! I had heard horror story that the Taj Mahal quartzite is so hard to cut, and it would break without proper technology. Fortunately that did not happen to me. Every piece was cut and polished nicely. This team knows what they are doing but did not put a crazy price tag in the work they do. I have to mention the customer service is great with this team. Ada is a reliable, honest and responsive guy to work with. There was an incident that we found our water line leaky after the installation, which could happened during removal of the original granite but nobody was sure. Ada just stood up and took the responsibility immediately. There was also miscommunication during the process but Ada was always there to resolve the problems and made the process worry free. This is the team that you want to work with because unexpected things and mistakes could happen in every project, but they will make it right for you. After second attempt, the poor sanding job was 100% visible as if these hardwood steps had been used and scuffed for 50 years. Sure they finally got the color up to 60% match (still wrong), but here I am left with cheaper pricing on flooring that looks as if it needs to be restored from generations of use. Pay a slightly higher price and go somewhere else. Oh, and I'll remove this review if you come fix the horrendous stain work. Until then, this review stays.

They were late 2 out of 3 days without notifying me, and the job felt rushed. Yusef promised me a $500 discount. Later, he denied ever making the offer, and the manager attempted to reduce it to $100. The manager also implied that only his word matters, using an example meant to justify why the original agreement shouldn't count. Customers shouldn't have to figure out which employees have "authority" -- if an employee makes a promise on behalf of the company, the company should honor it. Something I learned after the fact -- and wish I'd known before signing -- is that in many flooring companies, salespeople work on commission, sometimes 5-15% of the total sale. Managers may also receive a commission override. Installation crews are typically paid a set rate or per-square-foot amount, which means the company's actual cost is often much lower than the customer price. In these setups, discounts sometimes come out of the salesperson's commission, which could explain why I received pushback on the agreed $500. I'm not claiming to know this company's exact pay structure, but it's worth consumers being aware of how this industry often works so they can make fully informed decisions. I ultimately received the correct discount, but only after unnecessary back-and-forth, unprofessional behavior, and an attempt to undermine my honesty. I cannot recommend this company to anyone who values clear communication and integrity.
