Our daughter's wedding was this past Saturday and I cannot say enough good things about the selection and service offered at J&B Bridals in Chambersburg, PA. We purchased our daughter's wedding gown there and Jackie was so wonderful to work with that she made us feel like we were family. As a bride looking for the perfect dress, I was more than pleased with my experience with J&B Bridals. They are a top notch business and care about YOU! I was there in June and worked with Amy, I bought a dress but after a short time realized I was not in love with the dress and didn't feel comfortable in it. I contacted her back and asked if I could come back and she said absolutely. I brought my dress back in and tried on more dresses. I found THE ONE and knew immediately it was for my special day. Amy worked with me and took back my older dress because I did not wait long and she knew she would be able to sell it. That is so rare for a bridal store but it is customer service at its finest! Crystal is amazing, but in my many experiences here from homecoming, to prom, to my wedding dress; I've ALWAYS left satisfied and feeling confident. The entire staff is friendly, honest, encouraging, and patient. They truly listen to what YOU want and do everything they can to make it happen for you. I would never recommend anywhere else for formal/ bridal gowns. Additionally, my fiancé and his groomsmen got their tux's here and said the staff was amazing as well. This place was a good hour away drive from where we're actually hosting the wedding but SO worth it. I looked online to see who sold my favorite designer and J &B so happened to carry her. After searching high and low for a particular Mori Lee wedding dress I wanted to try on, I found that J&B Bridals had the sample in store. It was a six hour round trip for me to get there, but well worth it since the dress was the one! Jamie was wonderful to work with, and flexible when we had to change a couple planned dates to come out and try on/pick up the dress. Since I went with one dress in mind, I didn't really do any browsing, but they appear to have a very good selection of gowns. The shop itself is neat and orderly (which can't be said for all those I visited) and everyone working there seemed super friendly and helpful. I believe they do have alterations onsite, so for local brides it would make a great one-stop shop. Overall, it was a wonderful experience getting my dress, and now I just look forward to wearing it! read more

Today I went in looking for a homecoming dress for myself and definitely walked out empty handed. This is a bridal shop, so I do understand that prom/hoco dresses aren't a huge priority, but the selection was considerably bad. By the looks of their Instagram account, I thought that their selection or short dresses would be plentiful and that they'd have a variety of sizes (or just a variety in general) but that was not the case. It's pretty early in the season but they had probably 50 short dresses total and most were quite outdated and thus, on sale. The size selection is just bad. If your above like a size 6 you're just out of luck. They had about 20 max Sherri Hill fall collection dresses and they were all SUPER SMALL sizes. In sizes above 6, there we're probably 3 new, this season, dresses available. In an 18, my size, I tried on one dress, because they had one dress (out of the new, non sale, dresses) in size 18. They only had one size per dress so if you see something you like, but it's not your size, they might be able to order it but with Sherri Hill (which is vastly popular, and largely advertised by J&B as being largely available) it's unlikely they would because of the small number of dresses made and distributed. On a positive note, if you are a small size, and/or if you're on a budget, the selection is probably good for you. If you're close to this store, I'd stop in and test your luck, but if your about and hour away like I am, I'd skip it. read more

They give you a wonderful, personalized experience. I went there in high school for prom dresses and returned to get my wedding dress. I had a personalized experience selecting my wedding dress, and constant support throughout the dress fitting process. They are kind and go out of their way to ensure everything is perfect and to make you happy. I tried other places for bridesmaids dresses etc., but nothing compares to the experience of J&B. I actually didn't have an appointment when I walked in, and I got lucky when Linda was able to help me right away. I felt so bad because I hadn't researched wedding dresses before and it was my first time trying any on, but Linda was so kind and patient with me. She stuck with me for a whole 3-4 hours and helped me in and out of every dress (something you think would be standard at bridal shops, but I've come to learn it's not). In the end, I had a dress I liked but I couldn't make the leap. Even if I decide to go elsewhere to purchase a dress, I would 100% recommend going to J & B Bridals to anyone who wants to be helped by such nice and thoughtful people! read more

I had an amazing experience at J&B bridal with Elise! They had the wedding dress of my dreams, and pretty much every other dress I had seen online that I wanted to try on! Everything was ready for me prior to arriving, and Elise was so personable, sweet, and knowledgeable and made the experience wonderful!
