Because they didn't tell me what I needed to do to prepare in advance for their visits. The first time, they said they needed the site survey. Okay, the second time I had that available. But then they said they needed all of the corners marked by a survey company. So I hired a survey company for $250 to mark the corners. And then they came a third time, gave me a quote that didn't reflect the borders I'd requested, and when I tried to correct it, they dropped my job entirely in exchange for commercial business. Meanwhile, my neighbor had a plan with Fortress for installation, though they hadn't signed a contract yet. They dropped her job, too, in favor of commercial business... and never actually told her. I had to tell her myself! I called the owner of the company to complain and left a voicemail, and never heard anything back. What terrible customer service. I guess in hindsight, I'm glad to give my business to a different fencing company - to one that actually cares about how they treat people.

A few days after my review, Landon from Seegars reached out to me directly with an apology for how everything had been handled, and an offer to make things right. They agreed to my request for a partial discount (I had originally paid everything in full to be done with the account, but they offered to refund me the amount I was asking for, which I felt was fair), and they told me they would send one of their most experienced crews to my home to completely replace the gate and ensure it was up to standard. I agreed and within 3 weeks, I received a call from one of the owners who wanted to personally apologize for everything. He mentioned that they've made internal changes and assured me that future clients shouldn't run into the same troubles I did. The replacement gate was properly installed in a few hours, and the panels now align and the gates hang square, which is the exactly quality standards I expected from the start. I'm now finally satisfied with my fence.

They did not notify us , that they hit pipes in the first hole they dug.They keept digging one hole after another. We had to spend money on fixing these pipes after digging 2 ft long trenches and excavating the sprinkler system which turned out to be very expensive.Incompetent crew, bad company ethics. Find other companies to do your project. All your reasonable request will fall on deaf ears .
