The email is very convenient so you can just write down what you need done and have no misunderstandings. Jorge was our tech and he arrived with my email printed out to do the work. While he was here, we tacked on more stuff, including fixing a smoke alarm and fixing a very old and weathered outdoor light. He was here for a few hours. We were so impressed with their work we had then come back a week later to finish up some things they couldn't do the previous trip (due to lack of time). They fixed other fixtures in the house, a few were as idiotic as needing dimmed light bulbs (expensive mistake) but others needed a lot of work done. I will be hiring them again for round 3 when we outfit the house for cable lines. Direct Current charges by the hour and they work super quickly so don't worry about getting ripped off. I am happy with their work and definitely recommend them. Also, both times the tech arrived on time. They also accept credit cards.

The work required was for three soffit lights installed in the 3 peaks of my home. Received quote very quickly with a discount of $50 per light from $400 to $350 per/ light and a very professional scope of work to include insurance information (my requirement was licensed and insured). I thought everything was good and attempted to make first installment. Quinn declined and told me to wait (1st redflag)-weird - who turns down $$$? Tim Eddings arrives on Friday (9/23/22) @4pm to commence work thinking that all I needed was bulbs changed. What?!!! Did you not read your own scope of work? I showed it to him and the cost went up by $450 from $1,113 to $1563. (2nd redflag) . Quinn Marcel is on the phone and states that he (Quinn) doesn't know this type of work - well how can you price it Sir? Once Tim realizes what the work entails, he then reschedules to 9/29/22 and states he will have help. I had already sent a picture of my house to Quinn - not certain if he shared it with Tim. Tim and Moses arrive at my house and ask me, "Do you have the lights?" No I don't - the quote states that you all will provide materials, labor and supplies. Tim then says, okay. I'll go get them - home depot. He comes back with floodlights VS soffit lights. (3rd redflag) . . eventually I'm going to stop counting the flags because there are too many . . SMH! Tim comes back with "acceptable" lights - his partner (Moses) is busy running wires through my attic and there are two hanging out waiting for light installs right now. Scary part(s) - my husband, at work, but calling with questions had me go outside and ask how they plan to seal the holes being drilled into our home to prevent leakage from rain. Tim laughs and tells me that that is not his line of work. Really?! and he proceeds to drill right through the BRICK of my garage which is 2 feet below the peak of where the light is supposed to be. He tells me that he can't reach the peak but didn't ask if this was okay to install the light 2 feet lower than my request and outside the scope of work! I told him this is UNACCEPTABLE and he informs me he needs a taller ladder. My husband tells him, he will pay for the rental of a taller ladder from Home Depot and Tim calls and finds they don't rent them anymore. Today is 9/30/22 and we are expecting the remnants of Hurricane Ian for the next 4 days (rain) so work cannot be completed until next Wednesday (10/05/22). Tim thinks he has another 3-hours of work ahead of him to complete this job. I currently think this job was too big for him and now I cannot reach Quinn Marcel or any other person at their "headquarters". Tim also asked me, if I believed in Conspiracy Theory? What? Not when my home is being hacked and drilled in areas that I cannot see! Very unprofessional. Update: After providing feedback to the contractor, we went in another direction and had the job completed by another contractor within 3 hours and they UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT.

No mess; he also cleaned up the dry wall dust. Tesla recommended electrician was Autumn Electric in Vienna, VA. Bad news--The mistakenly noted my appointment as canceled then corrected it only to do an estimate, not the actual work. Electrician that showed up didn't blink his eyes like he was high on Vicodin. My Pepco meter box needed re-attaching to my house after a siding repair. Previously, the box was…read moresnugly attached within a frame on the siding. The Meyer electrician carelessly re-attached the box more than a full 2" below where it was, at the top of the frame (see photos). The box's misplacement now interferes with waterproofing the siding of my house, so I am now taking bids from other electricians just to raise the box. Upon seeing the photographs after the repair below, a contractor of my acquaintance commented, "That does look a bit shabby." I sent Walt Meyer an email with the photographs, with the comment that nobody should be proud of the job. His only response was to send me my paid invoice. Shabby is part of the company ethic. One review starts with "Don't do it. Just plain do it." I concur. The company takes no pride in its work. You may get lucky, but the company is cheap because it does not stand behind its work.
