We were standing in the main area when a bottle service waitress approached us and offered a table. I told her we were fine at the bar, but she insisted and said we didn't need to buy a bottle--just that we could sit and enjoy. We agreed, but as soon as we sat down, she immediately added that we'd have to move if someone came and bought a bottle. That felt misleading and unnecessary, especially considering the club was nearly empty with plenty of open tables. At the bar, things didn't improve. I ordered 2 margaritas and 2 shots, but the bartender poured 4 shots instead. When I politely clarified that we only wanted 2, she refused to take the extras back. To make matters worse, the total tab ended up being over $100--including the extra shots we never asked for. That's unacceptable. Overall, the service was poor, the atmosphere felt low quality, and there was a complete lack of hospitality. It's not surprising they keep rebranding and changing names. They advertise themselves as a "3-story club," yet the rooftop is consistently closed due to staffing issues. We ended up leaving and going to Fabian's down the street, which had a much better vibe and overall experience.

They've expanded and have more seating space (parties) and have "breakout rooms" with different games. One of them had Dance Dance Revolution (for 2) which was nice. Made it more private. They also now offer beer (they only used to offer cider) which is a huge plus. The service was also great. The bartenders were friendly. I'll definitely be going again. Quick Tip: download the app. They give free admission for newbies and you can play games (on the app) to get puzzle pieces for free drinks/passes.

I've been there with a group of adults and also with a group of kids, and just note that while it's totally fine (and very fun!) for kids, it's probably better for adults--there's no kid security check-in at the front, and the building is very big, with lots of games. We ordered a pizza from a touchscreen by a food window, and the pizza was actually pretty good, much better than I was expecting at an arcade. The downside was that, in the lunch rush, it took 30-40 minutes for that one pizza to come out, though you could tell they were individually making each item in the big pizza oven. If you want drinks, you separately order those at the front, near where you check in, which is a little odd to have two separate food/drink ordering spots. When we walked in, we paid for a wristband, which gave "free" access to all of the arcade games, except for the claw machines, which required you to buy an extra card.

They host an array of events and activities (some are free, while others are ticketed). Events and activities include live music, DJs, yoga, Zumba, and seasonal events like Winter Wonderlawn during Christmas and Lunar New Year. There are seven gardens which take up about an acre. There's signs throughout the lawn that explain the different gardens and various spaces. Sky Farm is operated by Blackwood Educational Land Institute and they focus on regenerative agriculture and cultivation of food. The Outpost can be rented for events. Yelp Houston has hosted some events at the Outpost in the past. During the summer, it gets very hot! They have quite a few covered/shaded areas and there's vendors throughout if you need water or a beverage. There's lots of seating too (both covered and uncovered). A visit to Post Houston isn't complete without making the trek up to Skylawn! The views alone are worth it!

Thumbs Up: The rooftop lawn and garden are beautiful and provide a relaxing place to enjoy the city skyline. Thumbs Up: Portions of the rooftop are dedicated to gardens that grow fresh produce, adding a unique touch to the space. Neutral: I wasn't able to determine where the harvested produce ultimately goes. I'm sure the information is available somewhere, but I don't recall seeing it during my visits. Thumbs Up: I can actually see my home from the rooftop. Thumbs Up: I've watched a few rooftop concerts from my balcony. Thumbs Up: As an added bonus, it's always entertaining to hear some of my neighbors complain about the "noise pollution" during HOA meetings. Living Downtown comes with unique advantages and occasional inconveniences. If someone can't tolerate city life, they may be happier living in the suburb provinces. Thumbs Down: Access to the rooftop is sometimes restricted during seasonal events and special art installations. I understand the need for ticketed events, but I wish general access to the public spaces could remain available whenever practical. Thumbs Down: I am able-bodied, but I couldn't help noticing that rooftop access appears difficult for visitors who use wheelchairs or have mobility impairments. The elevators are not easy to locate, and several were out of service during my many visits. Improving accessibility would make this space more welcoming for everyone.
