I explained, as a former food server, I have never made a guest pay for something they were unhappy with, especially something they were not going to consume. Instead of the waiter resolving this himself, he fetches the bartender, who argues the drink was made how it was supposed to be and "we don't do sampling here." After I explained to him that, being currently unemployed, I don't feel good being made to pay for something that I was not going to consume in a restaurant, he apologized, made a different drink and fetched me my check that I asked for. Amigos, you should know this is appalling service. I won't be back and hopefully others will gain some perspective on this experience and judge accordingly.
