Joseph was amazing! I had read a lot of great reviews over the last few years & even entered him into my phone should I ever need a mobile mechanic. Well, that day came! We have a 20 y/o Lexus SUV that has almost 200k miles but it is still in very good condition as we have taken great care of it. However, one day the key wouldn't turn in the ignition, my husband checked out the internet for possible DIY fixes but none would do the job. So, I called J&J & Joseph has dealt with this issue before so he suggested that I call a locksmith that he uses regularly to start there, made sense! Long story short, these two work together & between both of them, although it was a long day as our issue wasn't as easy as most, they both were successful in repairing the issue. I was in a pickle as my car pretty much broke down when I got into town. I called them in the morning and they were super accommodating. I was really worried about how long this would take because I needed to get back to Vegas - I had tickets to a show at the Smith Center that evening. I had my car towed to their shop to save on the diagnostic fee (their suggestion; this is also a plug for having AAA). They started working on my car around 11am. A BIG HUGE THANK YOU!!! Although J&J could not fix our problem, turns out it is an internal transmission issue not external, we had confirmation and knew what direction to head it in order to get our truck's transmission taken care of. The transmission in our truck was majorly acting up, and we'd just had it fixed a few months ago... however that was in California, and although still under warranty we were far away to take it back immediately. Since EVERY transmission place we tried in Bullhead were closed or closed down on Saturday, I got out my trusty Yelp and saw J&J Mobile Mechanic and we gave them a call. They replied immediately with a text asking what it was that we needed help with. In less than 2 hours, we had a mechanic come out, test drive, complete an inspection and assure us we'd be okay. The $150 service call was a small price to pay for our peace of mind. Hunter was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He even told us why our ABS light was coming on and what it would take to fix that... that wasn't even the reason we had him out! Very nice guy. Huge props for this kid! Joseph saved us!! We were traveling trough Laughlin to get home to Southern California during a heat wave. Our van shuttered and then stopped all together. After calling several places, on a Saturday, he was not only the only shop in town that allowed us to have our car towed to him, but he was extremely kind, helpful and went out of his way for us. I contacted J&J to see if they could come look at an issue on my old jeep. They came by the next morning, earlier than what they had even scheduled, took a look at it weird electrical issue, went and got the part, came back and fixed it. On my way up to Laughlin with my family (of 5) . Driving on the 40fwy an boom! The transmission line blew. Jumped on yelp to tell the tow truck driver where to go. I found JOE, he closed at 5:00pm an we weren't going to make it by closing time. He reassured me not to worry an that he'll stay till I get there. Well if you are coming to Laughlin and make a left at the chevron approx 33 miles away before the grad with less than a quarter of a tank and more than a 1/8 of a tank. You will likely be like me. I called around and found these guys online and they killed it. I ran out of fuel in my ISL Cummins. These guys showed up and made it happen. These are NOT easy to get started again. These guys were super friendly, very knowledgeable and above all nice/hardworking young men. After I paid them they followed me to the fuel station and made sure I could refire again. To say that Joseph is a life saver is not enough. Myself and 3 other friends just hiked 24 miles and we were heading home when our alternator and battery failed. We called Joseph and he said bring it in and was so kind. We knew he may not get to it on a Saturday and he had 5 other cars in front of me. Not only did he get back to me quickly with what was wrong he fixed our car that day and brought it to my hotel since we had no transportation. We went on our annual Laughlin trip from Anaheim, CA. Drove into Casino dr and boom! We started overheating. We were able to get assistance to our hotel and come to realize that we blew our heater hose. We were stranded. Looked up mobile mechanics near me and was able to find these amazing people! My daughter's car wouldn't start on a Saturday afternoon when no auto repair places were open and I contacted J&J and they were at her home in 10 minutes! Diagnosed the problem-- dead battery-- then installed one of their batteries and accompanied her to AutoZone to purchase her battery. I had enough of working on my 2005 Dodge Cummins Diesel. All I was trying to do was put the dang belt on. After many hours and bruises of failure, I looked up a Mobile Mechanic in my area. J&J and another came up who were open on Saturday. I called the other place first but it went to Voicemail. So I tried J&J, and it did go to VM but about a minute later I got a text. After spending most of my Friday waiting to get my car fixed by the "shop" that my wife insisted that I call because she thinks mobile guys " must be hustlers" I went to my fall back position and called Joe back. When I take my car to the mechanic, 9 out of 10 x I know what it needs. I'm a car dealer. Have been for 30 years. When I ask u to fix the fuel pump, just fix it and take my money. I will cry if I was wrong. The other guys understandably wanted to diagnose things for them selves. My wife let them. I didn't want to argue. It was feeling like a one way ticket to a high bill and possibly a majorly delicate engine fix in my spark plug well, but he was able to help me put it together no problem. He's a life saver and understands the affordability it takes to get help from a mechanic. I'd recommend no other large scale business but him and some other small shops around the local area. Going local can be pretty good and he's brought up my faith in the community. J&J Mobile mechanic saved our trip. We were on the way to The Grand Canyon on I40 and hit something on the road. The radiator started leaking. Had to stop in Area 66 in Yucca. Out in the middle of Nowhere. Our option was to have the vehicle towed 45 miles to the closes repair shop not knowing if they could fix it right away or have a mobile mechanic come down. The worst experience ever with a mechanic. Quoted me $125 repair, he didn't know how to do a brake job. He spent over 45 minutes on Google trying to figure how to put the brakes back together again. He then charged me $360 because it took him 4 hours to do a one hour job (according to Google). He called someone to put lien on the car because I refused to pay that much. I offered him twice the quote, $250, but he would not budge. We supplied all of the parts. The local repair shops told us that with supplied parts, it should not cost over $200. We also had him change two headlights, he quoted 1 hour at $150/hr. When he was done, he charged us $360 to change two headlights! We supplied all parts. To top it off, these are focused beam LED lights and he installed them sideways. The focused beams all shine as a two foot wide beam in the middle of the vehicle, totally useless. BEWARE. Get Everything in writing. read more
