I do not normally write reviews and downloaded yelp just to write this review. This place was SO GOOD, I walked in with my boyfriend and we were greeted right away with smiles. Everyone was so sweet and polite. I got purple and coffin shaped acrylics. I had David, he was SO precise would go over EVERY single detail (even cutting centimeters off my nail to make sure they were the right length) and make sure that everything was PERFECTLY even. I've been here a few times, mainly out of convenience. It's nice enough inside but overpriced, especially for the work being done. Last time I was in I had a dipping powder manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure was okay but the polish application on my toes was pretty bad... probably 30 brush strokes on my big toe so there was almost no shine to the nail when she was done. The woman doing the dipping powder manicure used gel polish top coat... Dipping powder nails don't require any UV light if you've done them correctly. The gel polish lost its sheen much faster than a real powder manicure would have. read more

HORRIBLE! NOT CLEAN! First of all i'd like to say my nail tech brought me over to a dirty manicure station after my pedi and instead of grabbing new CLEAN implements for me she just grabbed the used one.. so i pulled my hand away and said those are dirty and she said no they aren't and tried to grab my hand again!! so i pulled away and said i want clean tools! so she pulled out a new nail file and said yes this is new and i had to argue with her to go get new clean tools and when she got up i picked up the cuticle nippers and showed her "look it has SOMEONE ELSES SKIN on it" and she just didn't respond and ignored me... at this point i wanted to walk out because of how disgusting and illegal that is but she get new tools so i let it go. i show her a picture of a simple nail design and ask if she's comfortable with it, she said yes and it well be $5 each nail (which is the highest i've ever seen but as long as i get what i ask for it's fine) so she tried to do a spider web like 5 times and kept starting over, when she finished it looked nothing like the photo i showed her so i told her to just forget it i'm not paying $10 for shit work!! I also would have been more understanding if she was up front that she couldn't do the design or asked one of her coworkers to do it for her but she wanted to charge me the money for horrible work. then got mad when i said i didn't like it..... not my fault!!!! I asked if she did a top coat cuz she seemed to be trying to rush me out and she said yes and i said i don't think you did can you please do it. She yelled at me and said i am doing it now i do it after the design... so i'm confused and say ok that's fine but you just said you already did it and lied so i just want my top coat not sure why that's an issue... She was so rude and aggressive the whole time, i couldn't even relax because she was just throwing my feet and hands around. not gentle or professional at all!!!! The leg massage was her just doing the same exact motion on my leg that actually started to hurt and i didn't even get a hand massage. Then she asks if i want the paraffin wax without explaining if it came with my service or what it is, so i said ok. she dipped my hands in and got it all over my bracelet so after she pulled it off my hands i was trying to pick it off my expensive bracelet and she barks at me and says after, after i said you shouldn't be getting it on my jewelry in the first place!! blown away by her attitude!!!! this was my second time here, i wasn't happy the first time but decided to give it another chance but this visit was worse than the first. They are unfriendly from the second you walk in and even during the service. I'm not sure why anyone would continue to come here because for a few dollars more you can go up the street and actually get a friendly, professional service !!! it must be the price because it's most definitely not the service or the result! very disappointed i paid so much money for a bad experience and didn't even leave with what i wanted... i'm better off getting a sticker for $1 ‍ read more

I've been a faithful customer of this establishment since I moved to this town. It was awesome. After a period of absence, I decided to go as a walk-in. I was received by the receptionist that asked what I wanted to get done which I proceeded to tell him. He looked at his appointment book told me there was no availability and pretty much shewed me away. While in my car, I decided to call and ask if they had availability today. It was voice of the same man that had just told me that I couldn't be seen. I told him what I wanted done and he told me I could be seen within 40 minutes. I then let him know who I was and asked him why didn't he give me that option two minutes ago. He went silent. I don't know why they changed management but this place wasn't this way. Got my nails done on Tuesday. I got dip with tips. It is now been 2 days and two have Fallen off and I have had to go in twice. The guy on the phone was wicked nice and said I could come back in whenever but the lady that did my nails on the second time was super rude. I have never had this happen to me before usually my Fossett last for at least 3 to 4 weeks I am on my second week of having my nails and one has broken again but don't feel like coming in because I'm tired of going back-and-forth. Also I feel like they up charge you on every little thing possible just so that they can get their moneys worth. read more

My 2 daughter's and I got our Nails done for vacation. All 3 had appts but one of my daughters was taken about 1/2 hour after us and and took about 1 1/2 hours for a full set and toe color change. They were very expense compared to other places we have come too and the quality was not worth the additional costs. None of our nails came out very good but the most disappointing was the set my daughter got. Her nails did not even last 2 weeks, and they were so bad and breaking apart that she could not even get a fill-16 Days later-they had to take them all off and get a new set. I contacted the salon and told them the issue and said they could not do anything about it, every salon does things different. Unfortunately we will not be returning. read more

I tried making appointments with her but the salon would get busy and my appointment time was not always honored. I stopped having dipping powders because the other nail techs did not do a good job. This review is for HEATHER AHMED's pedicure services. I've been her client for many years, since she worked at Salon Bogar in Londonderry. (Salon Bogar discontinued their nail salon services to allow for more chairs for hair appts. Major faux pas for an upscale salon!) As an RN on my feet for 12 hr shifts, I occasionally have ingrown toenails. She is like a podiatrist working w/accuracy gently removing them. She always listens to concerns/needs & is on point with her aseptic cleanliness & professionalism. I always get the 1 hr Deluxe Pedicure ($45/see pic for description) & always leave her a $20 tip. She's that good!!! Worth it to have my 11EEE feet feeling & looking beautiful despite their size. You will not be disappointed if you book w/Heather. I've not had any of the other nail techs so I cannot speak for their services. As a side note the massage chairs are incredibly soothing here & more therapeutic than most salons...comfortable & many settings to choose from.) read more

I have been to many, many nail salons and this by far is the best. I have gone to salons in the past and my gel manicure literally peels off my nails within a week. I don't know what they do here but my gel manicure lasts easily 3 weeks. The staff is so friendly and very accommodating. Hey have a great selection of colors and services. The chairs are very comfortable, they have a few TVs and the salon is beautiful. I have always been someone who has a "nail girl" and will only see 1 person but not here. I have seen just about everyone in the salon for both a manicure and pedicure and everyone is top notch. My nails come out perfect every time! Love this place and their amazing staff! read more

I went to house of nails for a manicure/pedicure. When looking for a polish color I felt rushed to pick one. The pedicure was ok, the girl used an exfoliate and was rubbing so hard it hurt. The manicure was not good, the polish I picked was a little thick and she put 3 coats on one of the nails which didn't dry all the way when I was under the dryer. The girl waited for me to pay and sign my credit card until after nails were done so I had to get my card back into my bag after nails were done and still not fully dry. Usually they have you pay before painting and make sure your keys are out? right? Anyway, that nail that had 3 coats on it ended up getting a big dent in it and I took the polish off when I got home. Great pedicure and other services. I had to give it only two stars because upon paying they were less then pleased I used a gift card (and paid 25% in a cash tip on $100 worth of services). The 3 female employees were handing it around to each other yelling in Vietnamese about their displeasure.
