Fast and friendly service! Our group had the rib special, a pulled pork sandwich and two meat / two side plate. The Mac and cheese, one of our sides, was delicious, we would all go back just for the Mac and cheese. The coleslaw was nice and fresh, crispy and just enough mayonnaise. The pulled pork was dry in a good way, not greasy and plenty of tasty sauces to dress it up as you like. One person in our group thought the ribs were over sauced but another thought they were perfect. The meat was nicely smoked with a nice bark. The brisket was good, a tasty wet brisket, not dry. YESS!!! Okay a little melodramatic, but I'm just excited to have a killer BBQ place so close to home/work. Love their Snohomish location, and Everett is just as good. Pulled pork and brisket have great flavor and texture, nice char on brisket. Could use some more heat on the "hot" sauce, but hey it's the tastes that matters and this place delivers. Walked by this place a couple times on my way to and from my hotel. Decided to swing in to check out their BBQ since the food options around where I was staying was somewhat limited. The place was not crowded at all, maybe it was the time of day since I swung in about 20 minutes before they closed on a Saturday night. The restaurant was clean and both individuals working were friendly and helpful in sharing what was good. I chose the pulled pork meal which came with two sides, I opted for the mac 'n cheese and the corn bread. The corn bread came with a small cup of flavored butter. The portion of the pulled pork was generous and had an even share of tender meat and crispness. Also included was the choice of BBQ sauce which came in three different spice levels: mild, medium, and hot. I picked the medium sauce which had just enough kick to it to not be too overwhelming. I have had a lot of BBQ in my life being part Texan and I must say it is nice to finally have a local place with BBQ that is top notch! The owner is very involved. I see him at both his Everett and Snohomish establishments checking in with his employees, which shows he really cares about the food he is serving his customers. The tri tip is by far my favorite!! I ordered the tri tip sandwich and pullpork meal for my husband! Both were perfect not dry including the cornbread! It came with a ton of pull pork with my meal and on the sand which as well...both worth the price! I love their sauce too! I'll have to try their hot sauces next time I'm in. Very, very good ribs and brisket. I have been to many BBQ joints and establishments across the country and had some of the best and not so great BBQ. This place ranks near the top. Their brisket is slow cooked and super tender. It has that pink ring near the surface that you always hear about in the food shows. The ribs are succulent and fall off the bone good. Stopped in to check out the menu yesterday and thought I would try the beef ribs. Though I've only eaten baby back ribs personally, I guess I was expecting fall off the bones type ribs. The ends of all of the ribs were tough, understanding that the smoking would possibly do this, however, there was so much gristle in the ribs themselves that I continually pulled them (chunks) out of my mouth and had a big pile, before I gave up! I can't gush more about this place! This was our first time at the Everett location and they exceeded our expectations in every way! I rarely write glowing reviews but couldn't go without showing them the same love they showed me and my wife. Went in to spoil myself for my birthday with some of my favorite food, BBQ, which seems a little hard to find quality wise around here without spending an excruciating amount of money. As we started ordering, the incredibly sweet woman taking our order realized she could probably save us some money by making it it work as their 3 and 3 deal which saved us at least $10! How incredibly sweet of them to not take the easy profit and instead try and save us some money. All the staff we spoke with were incredibly helpful and kind. While speaking to the owners sister who was serving us, we explained how it was my birthday in a couple days but we went beforehand as they were closed on my birthday. She ended up throwing in an extra 2 or 3 ribs for us as they were "too thin" for her to be comfortable selling to someone! And then threw in an extra slice of cornbread and a freaking candle and told my wife to sing me happy birthday when we get home! I can't explain how kind and giving these people are! Absolutely gained a lifelong customer as long as they are there. Can't wait to go back! Oh, and I haven't even started about the food!!! Their jalapeño cheddar sausages are absolutely to die for. Best sausages I have EVER had. The brisket, oh the brisket. Absolutely fantastic. Get the fattier brisket if you can, it's ridiculous. The ribs! The freakin ribs! Absolutely perfect, I can't get over it. My girlfriend had the whole container of mac and cheese all to herself because she didn't want to share because it was so dang good. The only thing I can complain about, is the the fact that I didn't ask for extra cinnamon butter for the perfect cornbread! I ordered pulled pork with two sides, mac n cheese and cole slaw and my friend ordered the ribs with mac n cheese and with potato salad. We both agreed that the mac n cheese was pretty tasteless. Ordered To-Go lunch. They got the order wrong and charged me the difference also didn't give me a knife, fork or napkin in the bag. Beyond that the cornbread muffin was so dry I didn't want to eat more than a bite. Chicken thighs were over smoked and dry (which I was charged 2 for instead of the one I ordered, yet it was there mistake in packaging). Mac Cheese, which I was most excited about, was overdone and flavorless. Maybe they had a bad day, but I don't think I will be going back. read more

We were in town visiting family and stopped here for takeout. Bought 1.5 lbs. pulled pork, largest size coleslaw & mac n cheese and also cornbread. Plenty of food for 3-4 people. I've been searching for the "Best (all around) Barbecue" all of my life all over the country, since my childhood in the 60's in Kansas City - this place and its sister location in Everett comes the closest to perfection! I've had their brisket (the burnt end of course), their tri-tip and ribs - all had amazing flavor, smoke, and texture (just a tiny bit of fat and enough chew to be mouthwatering delicious)! Okay the BBQ is good and the sides dishes are great but service is just plain rude and the lady had a attitude. The lady behind the counter needs to learn some customer respect. As I walked in to try this place there men and women in uniform of the armed forces in front of me. The lady was just being so rude to our fine men and women that do so much for our country. There is no reason to treat our men and women in uniform like that, they were not being rude or disrespectful they even called her ma'am. Standard menu for a bbq with a few twists like jalapeño cheddar links. Smoke on links, brisket, ribs and pulled pork is excellent. Great smoke rings on the meats. Super flavor throughout the selections. We left happy campers and will be back. Excellent job J & L! read more

Oh so excited...a new BBQ in Everett. Unfortunately, I can't give a fantastic review. Had my 'go to' pulled pork sandwich. Thought the prices were a bit high but the sandwich is piled high with meat & served with a generous side. Picked the baked beans which is a medley of 3 beans. Totally tasteless especially when compared with the baked beans from The New Mexican...which are the best I've ever had. They have 3 BBQ sauces...the hot is tasty but definitely not hot. Drenched the beans with it. Had the sandwich cut in 1/2 & you can grab a sheet of aluminum foil to wrap the 1/2 to take home. You can also get a cup of sauce to take with. The meat had an unusual 'off' taste....not like it was bad...but musty....? I kept burping on the way home & trying to figure how to describe it. Having lived in the South I keep trying to find a REAL SOUTHERN BBQ here. No luck so far since Pinky's in Wallingford closed. read more

The food was amazing! You could cut the brisket with a fork it was so tender. The sauce was delicious and so were the mac n cheese and the baked beans. I typically don't give a bad review for one bad experience at a restaurant, actually I haven't ever done a negative review on yelp, however I was so shocked by how rudely I was treated that I felt it necessary. I actually haven't even tried the food, this is strictly a complaint about how I was treated when inquiring about catering services. When I called to ask about their services, the person seemed really annoyed to answer a call in the first place, and when I told her that I was looking for a caterer for my August wedding she responded by laughing into the phone... and not for a second but for a long while, then there was a huge sigh, and I was put on hold without another word. At this point I wasn't really interested anymore regardless of what their availability was. Yes I know that 5 months is somewhat short notice for a wedding caterer...this is no reason to treat a customer this way. I have lost all interest in eating there. I don't care how good their food is, with customer service like that it doesn't matter to me. There are far more appropriate ways to handle this situation, simply say " I am really sorry, but we are very busy and book up quickly" or something along those lines. Being rude to a potential customer is not necessary. read more
