I am giving Blue Moon a one star because of something that seemed very shady. I found some items…read morethat I wanted to purchase, they added them up and then said " Oh we have to contact the seller to make sure it is okay to sell them." I should have questioned why at the time but I tend to believe in the honesty of people. They were going to "call back" when they heard from the seller. It has been awhile now. I do not recommend this store.

She has a laundry list of favorites, most of which I do not know of! I have lots to explore! So, this store has a mix of everything (furniture, clothing, household goods, home decoration items, etc etc etc!). I got a bagful of goodies ... some new neat vintage threads and home dec stuff! ... and best part is ... all at great prices! Very reasonable throughout the store...some of the vendors are pricier ... I held out on a figurine that I adored, but a little much for what it is. Store reminded me a lot of the Cambridge Antique store with the multiple booths and each booth can have a promotion going on (like 20%, 30% off everything etc). This store is very worthy of visiting again! And the store owner(s) there were so nice and welcoming. Jack had fun too :)

Thanks to Yelp and a little bit of driving out of the way, I stumbled upon BullMoose and it immediately became my favourite store in the entire state of New Hampshire. From the second we walked into the door, we were surrounded by comic books, toys, video games, records, anime stuff, and of course, one of the best criterion movie sections I have ever seen. We spent a good half hour digging through the movies and ended up leaving with four in total, a truly magical shopping experience. I was super stoked to see how many video games this store head as well with some solid prices as well, but since the GameCube selection was lacking yesterday, my wallet and my luggage will remain the same as it was. Overall, BullMoose is 100% going to be a must stop whenever I find myself in the area. The selection here was amazing, the prices were really good (especially since I'm from Los Angeles) and it was truly a highlight of the day. This place rules.

During my recent visit to the Savers location in Plaistow, I approached the service desk, where the…read morecashiers were also stationed, and politely asked if I could be checked out at a regular register rather than using the self-checkout lane. I made this request because I prefer interacting with a cashier for my transactions. I was told this was not possible. At that time, there were four staff members standing in the self-checkout area. None of them appeared to be actively assisting other customers, and despite my request, no one offered to help me. Their refusal to assist came across as dismissive, disrespectful, and unprofessional. The way I was treated felt unnecessarily rude and unhelpful, and it gave the impression that my needs as a customer were not valued. This behavior was not only disappointing but also felt abusive in the sense that I was deliberately ignored when help was clearly available. It seemed as though the staff had no interest in providing service, and their attitude created an uncomfortable and hostile environment. I believe this reflects a serious problem with both staff training and management oversight. If employees are unwilling to assist customers and instead choose to stand idle, it damages the store's reputation and alienates shoppers. Management should take immediate action to address this -- including retraining staff, holding employees accountable for poor conduct, and, if necessary, replacing individuals who are unwilling or unable to perform their jobs professionally. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of their checkout preference. I strongly urge Savers to ensure that all staff members understand their responsibility to assist customers promptly and respectfully, and to take decisive action when employees fail to meet that standard.

Free People, Karl Lagerfeld, Converse, etc. are all examples of branded items I have found here in the past in like new or very good condition that were very inexpensive. Flash forward to now, they keep a large majority of the "good" items behind a counter that rarely has anyone assigned to it, so if you want to look at any of the clothes, jewelry, purses, shoes, etc. behind that counter, you often have to literally search for an employee. On the racks, every now and then I can still find a deal, but please tell me why Walmart and Target brand clothing are marked up higher than name brands? A Free People shirt for 8 dollars but a Walmart shirt for 11? A Nike shirt with stains and the labels peeling off for 13? A Gildan concert tee for 10? The prices don't make any sense! I've seen multiple jackets and jeans pushing 20 or over 20 bucks, which is INSANE for a thrift store. Some of the clothes and shoes you can buy brand new at Walmart, Target, TJMaxx, etc., for the same price or maybe a dollar more. It's giving greedy, a little. These are donations marked up to extreme highs. I still shop and buy when I find a good steal but it's becoming rarer every time I come.
