They expanded my island and added kegs. New counter tops, under cabinet lighting and new backsplash. It is just perfect. Will use them again in a heartbeat. Scheduled an appointment for measurement between 10-11. Called to inquire at 10:24 and was told he was finishing appointment and would be on his way, arriving by 11:00. Called again at 11:17 because tech still hadn't arrived and was told they would call "him". I called AGAIN twice and no one answered. I called from a different phone...no answer BUT received an immediate call back. This is indicative of the other number being ignored. I was told that she called and texted him but he didn't answer. Forget it...going with another company. This is a bad sign for me...don't value timelines or respect my time. read more

J&M (Javier) remodel my kitchen 3 years ago. I really liked my kitchen except they didn't do the plumbing correctly under the sink which resulted in a leak onto my new cabinets under the sink. Javier didn't respond to several call about the issue and to honor his word to go over the chaulking that had cracked along the backsplash. I don't hold grudges and I still love my kitchen, so I scheduled an appointment with J&M 3 weeks ago to get an estimate on remodeling my bathrooms. I left work early on 6/30/21 to meet with Javier at my home. I got a msg stating he had an unexpected emergency out of town. I rescheduled for today between 2pm to 3pm. I left work early to meet him again. I got a call from his office that he'll needed to come later or reschedule another day. We agreed on 5pm today. He never showed up or had the decency to call to let me know he wasn't able to make it. Unresponsiveness and unprofessionalism is still a problem for him so I won't be calling again. That's what I get for trying to give him a second chance. It's never a good business practice to waste customers' time. read more

When I walked in to the showroom I was greeted immediately. Helped me with all my questions and choosing the right counter top. My wife (the boss) was not with me. She was pleased with what they had to offer. The next day I had a price and they had a signed contract. Today was the installation and we couldn't be happier. All done within 9 days. My best advice is no matter who you use, make sure your contract is established where you pay in thirds with 1/3 due after work is complete. My original quote from J&M had me paying 90% of the contract by the 2nd of 3 payments. I insisted on paying 1/3rd of contract upon completion. This turned out to be crucial. I ended up having to hire a plumber to complete work that J&M messed up and deducting those charges from my final payment. If I only had 10% of the contract left to pay, I would have had no recourse. Additionally, their work should have been completed by January 27. They finished February 18. I handed them the check for the final payment on the day they completed work. Then that same day they sent me a late notice that my payment was due January 27. It would have been paid January 27 if they had completed the work then. Bottom line: make sure your final payment is enough to leave you recourse if something goes wrong. Initially they did not accept responsibility. Do make sure you don't relinquish all of your power no matter who you hire! read more

Removal of existing wall unit,cheap laminate floors existing owner had installed, carpet on steps and play room in the basement. Installed new hardwood floors on basement steps, new luxury tile floor in main area of basement. Repainted the kitchen, family room and basement. Couldn't be happier! Service: Hazell was the salesperson that helped me from beginning to end. Her tone was always cheerful and she was informative and helpful without every being pushy. She even did some research for me to try to find a specific slab I was looking for. Being impressed with her professionalism as well as their prices, we hired them to install new countertops in our kitchen. Installation: On the day of installation, the workers arrived right on time. Hazell called twice during the installation to make sure things were going alright. The workers were respectful of our home (taking off their shoes each time they entered) and worked with the utmost precision and care. I was worried about the process because we had just got new appliances that I didn't want nicked and was also expecting to have a lot of cleanup after the job was done. I was wrong on both accounts. They couldn't have been more gentle in the removal and installation. Both the installer and the plumber took time to meticulously clean, dust, and polish the countertops and surrounding surfaces. The plumber even took my broom and swept the whole kitchen floor even though they had hardly left a bit of dirt in their wake. An FYI: the gentlemen that they send to your house to measure and install speak Spanish, but if you have any questions, you can reach Hazell at the office. She is very prompt and available, and the guys are so professional that the fact that we couldn't converse was never an issue. Their craftsmanship and attention to every detail was remarkable. J&M installed over 80sq feet of granite & back-splash in our kitchen with only one nearly invisible seam required. They took great care to protect our home throughout, from the measure, through the installation and cleanup.
