My experience was amazing. My daughter and I got the designs we wanted and are happy. They have the plexiglass shields between the technician and for customers not wearing mask. The place is very clean but just a little under staffed depending on when you arrive. It's best to make an appointment for guaranteed service immediately on arrival. read more

Is it possible to give a zero star review? I came in today to get an acrylic overlay over my natural nails to keep them from breaking. while the guy was doing my nails he changed the shape of them after I told him I wanted them to stay the same as my nails already were and then applied the smallest amount of acrylic to my nails. I told him I wanted them thicker so that they won't break, obviously my reasoning for having the acrylic put on over my nails. he responded very rudely that he put acrylic on all my nails. Also, he was rude that I did not want polish and Then he charged me for a full set of nails. This was my first time going there and I feel like I got treated like crap and charged too much for crap service. definitely NOT recommended. Also when I got home from there, grabbing my purse from the seat my thumb nail broke! Such a waste of time and money! Oh and one more thing, the water temperature on their sinks is so hot it burned my hands as soon as I turned it on. read more

I will definitely be going here again! Nails turned out amazing, they had lots of choices in colors, the kind lady gave me exactly what I wanted! I had 2 cons, when the lady was using the electric smoothing thing, she went a little too high towards the cuticle area and it stung a tiny bit and made me bleed but it wasn't very noticeable, so I didn't really mind it. The second thing was that the two thumb nails are uneven at the top. The right one is more flat at the tip of it the left one is more rounded at the tip. But other than that it was amazing and I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nail salon. read more

Nancy left, and I totally agree with the last reviewer. They have NO CLUE about American standard customer service. An appointment means nothing to them. Like, literally, you can't even talk to them, because they don't understand what an appointment means. They say they don't have to see you at your appointment time, you have to wait. They take customers no matter what. So WHAT IS THE POINT OF AN APPOINTMENT!?!! CLUELESS and it's crazy that the owners don't step up and educate their employees on how to do business in USA. Not kidding, This isn't Asia, it's the US. You make an appointment, you arrive, you get served. They are like, "sorry you wait an hour, I have two walk ins before you" And there is no reasoning with them. Like the comprehension of customer service and appointments don't make sense to them. They need better leadership with US business standards. It's America, we are customer focused here. I've been going here for 10 years. If they break my appt. For a 3rd time I will never go again. So sad. Loved this place. Prices went up too, which is always a reason to not go as often. I came here on Saturday with a friend around 6 so I understand that it is the end of the day and they were wanting to get home.. but it's Thursday now and my nails are ruined. I'm on my lunch break and don't have enough time to get them re-done at a different spot. I'm a server and people see my hands all day. This is embarrassing. The lady didn't fix my hang nail and pull back any skin like most professionals do. She filed my already short nails, had me wash my hands, put on two coats and then started on my friend. Her nails are also already needing to be re-done. The price wasn't terrible. $30 for the both of us and I gave her a 10$ tip. But totally not worth 4 days. If management is reading this, I would be willing to take this review down if you have me come back in and re-do my nails with more coats. Like I said, we came in late so she probably wanted to get home. But honestly, my nails should have lasted at least twice as long. I made the mistake once of going across the street to "shiny nails" and they not only butchered my feet, cut my nails so short they were painful, but their "massage" was a joke. What a nice surprise to find this place across the street! Literally couldn't be more night and day. Got a shellac pedicure. The salon is clean, pedicure chairs are really nice and very adjustable. They spent a lot of time massaging and rubbing my legs and feet and being 9months pregnant, I definitely appreciated that! They also did a light "hot stone" rub as well. I do not recommend this place whatsoever. I have been plenty of places to get my nails done but this place is the absolute worst. I went in yesterday, it seemed pretty busy and popular so I assumed the work would be great. I got a pedicure and a full set (the pedicure was good) but the full set is maddening. The woman rushed through it, cutting my nails uneven, doing a quick overcoat with the clear coat to the point you can see the bubbles from the polish and where she added a second coat and where she didn't. She also was so careless she cut 5 of my fingers (I will post pictures). I am so unhappy with my experience, 7/10 do not recommend. read more

I've been coming here for about 2-3 years now, and love this place. I come every two weeks for a pedicure, and a "fill" on my nails. They make their own gel powders for "fills", and the color selection is awesome! Everyone is nice, and the prices are reasonable. They get really busy on the weekends, so it's best to call ahead. read more

I've had a few poor experiences here back to back... This last one tops the cake. came in to get pedicures with my four-year-old - they put our feet in water and said it would be just a few minutes... 45 minutes later we were still waiting, and with our feet in water couldn't really just get up and walk out. I felt like they did that intentionally to keep us. By the time our technician sat down our feet were prunes and the water was cold - and then they did a rushed job and left a lot of dry skin on the bottom of my feet. They have also made my husband bleed while giving him a pedicure. They really care more about volume of customers than the quality of their work. A couple times I've said I won't go here again - but that last experience was the last straw! read more

Sloppy. Went in for an appointment yesterday for a gel manicure and pedicure but was rushed through leaving my nails messy and chipping the same night! While getting the manicure asked the nail tech to make sure she got paint on the sides because when rushing she only got the top. Then nail got smudged as she rushed me through the drying process and to fix it she simply put a clear coat on which didn't really really help at all. Eventually I just gave up and she moved me on to the pedicure station. Sat for my pedicure where the nail tech there took her time so I assumed she was doing a thorough job. To my surprise she did the worst pedicure I ever received. Every toe was a different size & filed slanted & uneven. The big toes were streaky and just horrible. When another tech (the 3rd one) came over she said my toes looked straight from their view but she would fix them. She also tried to say that it was the way my toe nails were shaped and all these other excuses which is totally unacceptable! Why is it always the client's fault when I never had a problem like this before? I had to waste another 20 minutes waiting for her to attempt to fix the toes. No accommodations were made for the inconvenience and I ended up paying $70 for nails that couldn't even last me one day. Sad to say a waste of money. Super disappointed. read more

Literally every time I go and get my nails done one will always pop off within 2 days. I pay waaayyyyy too much money for decent looking nails that can't even stay on! Frustrating. Went back today after 3 days to get my pinky nail fixed and got home and then another entire nail fell off! The ladies didn't even seem sympathetic almost annoyed I went back to get my pinky fixed today. Will not go back here ever again and not sanitary at all. They rush whenever you go and get your nails done which is probably why every time I go to them a nail pops off. Yikes read more

I got acrylics with a design. Every place I've been to no matter what they cut my cuticle, not this place. Also every nail wasn't around the same length and some were fat and all over the place with sizes. Then the stuff to fill the acrylics got all over my fingers, they didn't clean it up. They rushed my nails, I was there for 2 and a half hours. Yes, I was a walk-in, but I've been a walk-in at other places and they took their time and they looked nice and they were all clothes to the same size. HORRIBLE!!! Went there today for a fill and pedicure. Second time getting a pedicure there. First was decent. This one?! My god! Wish I could turn back time and say no! Both my big toes are now swollen and painful to touch. Just great considering I have a wedding to go to this week. The lady doing them kept digging around my nail on both to cut stuff out that wasn't supposed to be cut and didn't need to be cut or dug out at all! I've never had someone do that before. I pulled my feet back a number of times. Said ouch and she kept doing it!! Didn't even acknowledge the fact I was in pain! I can already tell you they'll be infected. FML!! read more

I'm from out of town and needed my nails done desperately. This place was better than just about every nail salon I've encountered in southern California, and the prices were MORE than reasonable! It was clean, staff were friendly and extremely professional. The hot-stone pedicure was wonderful, and my gel French manicure is still holding up after a camping trip and two weeks with the nieces and nephews. They did a wonderful job after my 19+ hour drive. Went in here once before and they said they would be right with me. After waiting over a half hour to be seated (they weren't that busy) I walked out the door saying I'd try them another time. Wish I wouldn't have, because after giving them a second chance I sat down for a half-ass job. When she took off my previous shellac she filed down my nails to the point where it hurt and even made one of them bleed. No apology. Then after politely asking if she could put a pink heart on two of my nails, she gave me a hard time. Especially when I had to ask her to redo one of them because they weren't the same size and upside down. She left pink smudges on both fingers and instead of redoing them she put a white coat on top of the pink smudges. It looks like a little kid took a highlighter to draw on the transparent hearts. Concluding this experience, she had the nerve to charge me $3 extra for the oh-so-intricate design that I had asked for... Seriously? A three year old could have done a better job. I would say "save your money" and go somewhere else but this place won't be in business very long. read more

I really liked the way they did my nails until today. I left bleeding 6 out of 10 cuticles had skin broken she drilled so hard.( I've been getting my nails done for a very long time and this has never happened, so I know the problem is not me) I asked her to back off because it hurt. She kept drilling my cuticles. I showed another nail tech and she cleaned the blood off my broken skin (it hurt even worse) and said I could go to someone else next time. I came in for a full set of acrylics. . . The salon is nicely decorated, & clean. The staff is pretty friendly, but they don't really talk to you much. The man who did my nails did a good job, but he was on his phone a bit, & didn't talk to me at all. Not busy at all actually they where waiting for me to pick a color. I'm trying color since pink and whites are more. Place is clean the chair is great I had to turn down the power. They actually know how to cut cuticles my cuticles always need so help, and so far in my search this is the first place. I hope they do just as good on my hand! This pedicure so far is the best I have had in the 15.00 price range (actually 13.00). I will be unhappy if when I go to pay it is different. Sadly my toes where painted horribly I will have to fix them at home. My fill has not started well either. I had a very difficult time explaining I just wanted pink and white fill. It was a horrible experience it ended up costing double the amount I was told and the sign on the door said I could have gotten a full set and spa mani pedi for what I paid, and my toes are painted worse than if I did them at home, my nails are just as bad not clean looking thick not smooth didn't clean underneath. Only positive aspect is my cuticles. I will be making the drive to magic nails in Auburn from here on out, as soon as I can afford to go in and have my nails fixed, as like many of us I'm on a budget so being overcharged and needing to have them redone I will have to wait:( worst pedi and fill ever! read more
