Stopped by as a walk-in 4/23/2026. Was taken to a chair for mani/pedi. No wait time, pick a color and come on over! Seated and asked if water temperature was ok. As I sat down I looked around and saw how beautiful it was, very clean, beautiful sparkly lights, grass walls, art work decorations on ceiling. Constant incoming groups of women coming in. I was asked if I wanted a drink and I said water. My choice was cucumber or strawberry. I opted for cucumber water which was in a tall glass. My pedicurist worked on me and gave the best massage I told her I was in heaven! She carefully worked on my feet as another woman came over to work on my hands for my manicure. Both ladies very pleasant, respectful and attentive. They took care and did a very good job on my nails and I am very pleased with the outcome. The shop provided sterilized instruments, new scrubber for my feet straight out of package not used which most shops seem to use. I am definitely returning! I scheduled an appointment for a manicure and pedicure for my natural nails, I was greeted by a lovely young lady. I decided for their signature services for both my manicure and pedicure. This came with a qualified polish in the end. In most part, the services were good, and the girls were very conscientious. The the polish for my French tips were not very good. In my opinion I will post photos and let you be the judge. First- the online appointment website is a little frustrating. I made an appointment for myself/1 adult + 2 kids. Online it is somehow required for each "guests" to have a different email? My children don't have emails ? Second- the front desk people (who review your appointment booking) confirm what you requested and then when the nail tech comes out they still have the same 10+ questions you have already answered both online during booking + at the front desk. Just a little annoying. ESPECIALLY when they start asking about add ons to the children directly instead of i (the paying parent) And lastly- both my girls received completely different treatment . One nail tech was super nice and made sure to provide a relaxing service. The other nail tech was completely careless and made it a hard watch the way she made everything so complicated. I've been searching for a nail salon that doesn't have a strong nail polish scent and where I won't feel rushed due to waiting customers. This place had a pleasant aroma, even though two people worked on my nails (a mani and pedi). They took their time, and although the girl accidentally made my cuticle bleed , she apologized. I believe it was an honest mistake. Overall, the relaxing environment, drinks available , and even though I used a promo, I thought the service was fair. For $100, I received a Spa gel mani and pedi. Was looking for a new pedicure spot. Pure Harmony received a few recs from a local mom's group, unfortunately it is pure trash. I was all excited to book a pedi and a massage, at first they were like sure we can do that. Then they said they don't actually have any massage therapists currently on staff, "but we can do an add-on neck massage?" Ok cool. The person assigned to do my pedi and "massage" was wildly undertrained in both. Filed my toenail down so badly it left a dent that eventually split. I've never had this happen to my toes or my nails 30+ years of having them done. Toenails were rough, poorly polished, and one big toe was legitimately dented from her filing. Pedi trash. Massage trash. Shoulda cut my losses, but decided to check in with them to see what they'd say. Went into salon. Manager says it's because I'm 45 and that's what my nails are going to do now. Says if it had been a problem with the nail tech's skill then all my toenails would be split. I ask, if it were a problem with my age then wouldn't that statement also be true?? She had no reply. She continued to blame me, suggested I educate myself on the process of aging, said they could remove the polish and apply glue, then I should let it heal. I said I didn't think it was appropriate to be blaming me. Said I no longer wanted any of the three things I was about to ask for, but for clarity this is what I'd been hoping for when I entered the spa that night: 1 an apology it happened--she became very frustrated and was insisting she had in fact apologized, said she was filming me and that I was wrong. I said good, I hope you watch this and can learn customer service. 2--explain the steps to repair the split and tell me you'll handle it. 3--offer 25% off of my next services. Her, "oh yes we can do all of that! " Me, as I said, I'm no longer looking for any of those things from this establishment, because you just spent ten minutes blaming me and calling me uneducated, and you STILL haven't said "I'm sorry." This beautiful spa is located on Meridian, walking distance from the South Hill mall. I honestly didn't expect puyallup to have such a fancy spa hidden in their midst, so I was pleasantly surprised when I first walked in here! Service was great and timely-I got seated with a nail tech in 15 min and she got my nails done in around an hour, which included hard gel and design. Honestly my nails usually take 2 hours so being done sooner is an added bonus, especially when I'm in a time crunch. This salon also has a bar inside and they will serve you one complimentary drink per service. Who can complain about that! This used to be my favorite place, they would see me every 2 weeks for fills. But recently I called a few hours before, asking if I could book a soak off, and full set back on. They told me yes, and I showed up later for it. When I got there, they confirmed the service with me twice more as well as I double checked just to be sure. I said hello to my technician, his name was Ty. He starts to file down my nails, and instead of performing a soak off, he begins to take cuticle clippers, and a fake nail tip to pull each acrylic nail off my natural nail bed. I was wincing in pain and visibly showing I was upset but I was so baffled and let him do a few too many before I asked when the "soak off" part would begin. Considering he just ruined the integrity of my entire nail, which was now flimsy and very damaged. He said it would "take too long to soak off". Which I said I knew how long it would take, I made the appointment. He could see how frustrated I was, and asked if I would like to continue my service to which I said yes. Then everyone became reaaaaal nice real quick. I ended up paying what I guess is decent, and I made sure to check that a soak off was not listed in my final check. To which the receptionist told me that it's "not even in their system" Why agree to something if it's not an option, only to botch the service when they get there? I made the appointment because I did not have time to properly remove them myself. But sitting down and having a service performed on me that I could've done in the car on the way over, was honestly so awful. Genuinely DONT give them your time or your money. I am SO disappointed in this place recently. I've been a customer for almost 6 months and their quality has become terrible recently and their prices seem to have sky rocketed. I absolutely hate my nails and was blindsided by the pricing for the most basic nails I've had done at this salon they were somehow also the most expensive. They also charged my daughter for gel when we asked for regular polish and then proceeded to tell me that if I wanted the charge removed for the gel they would have to remove the gel polish and redo them without it like all that extra work just to avoid good customer service. read more

I really wanted to like this place. It's so pretty! But the experience wasn't great. I selected a tech who had good review mentions and booked her for both my gel full-set and gel pedi. They wouldn't let her work on my feet. My pedi turned out fine but it was disappointing to start my first visit with an argument about how my chosen tech was busy with more important things. When I did get to work with my chosen tech, the gel full set was good but there were language challenges and I didn't end up getting quite what I wanted, but she did a nice job for what she did. I just chalked it up to being new to the salon and tech and figured it'd be better the next time. Second visit was disappointing as well. I went in with a design because the tech said just bring her a picture and she'll duplicate the design on my nails. The pic I brought was simple (!!) Just French nails topped with a sheer shine (I guess it's called chrome powder) on four fingers, and some chunky glitter on one. It was like pulling teeth to get anything close to what I showed her. She kept telling me they didn't have what was needed to do it, and when I suggested alternatives, like sheer shiny polish instead of powder, or the closest glitter polish we could find if they didn't have some of the chunkier kind, she kept saying they didn't have any of those either. She said the shop owners just won't buy anything they need for the better designs. Honesty this design was NOT complicated, so what she was claiming was ridiculous since they have two WALLS of polish. Some of what was happening was a language barrier I think. But also there was an attitude of "you are too high-maintenance" as well. While I don't understand their language, I do understand body language and it was obvious they were talking to each other about me during all of this. I reminded the tech she told me to just bring a picture, and she got a little more cooperative and started trying to find things. But it seemed like the approach at the salon is that if they act dismissive and like you're asking too much so you start to feel bad or intimidated, they might get you to back off so you'll accept something less than what you want and they can move on to another more compliant customer and make more money sooner. Another customer who found it hard to speak up sounded like their ideal target. I speak up but find it really uncomfortable and NOT relaxing to advocate for myself in situations like this. Getting my adrenalin and blood pressure going is not my idea of a spa experience. I wish it would've been a better experience. They are close and convenient and their decor is gorgeous, but the beauty was skin deep on this salon for me. read more

Normally my normal place Pearl nails by the Verizon store on meridian. They would do a pedicure then work on the manicure. At hormany I did a simple nail design I could have done at home I've done it many times but I wanted to be pampered. The pedicure was not cute just very disappointing. Then after I go sit waiting for a manicure an Im at this place for 3 hours at this point waiting 1 hour for manicure. An they told me it's first come first serve so. Don't go here, go to D&D Nail Spa. The second time I came here (today) for a manicure and pedicure. I had one of the male technicians for my manicure and I told him I wanted a simple nude with acrylic. I knew this kind of nude was not going to be a regular gel polish but he got irritated and kept insisting gel was the only selection he had and to choose a color. I told him to just forget it and paint my regular nails instead because I didn't want to go back and forth with him and spend too much time on acrylics I didn't like. (I don't normally get acrylic but I'm going on vacation). He cut my real nails super short (looked like I had nubs) for the acrylic I was going to get . I had no choice but to accept the length at that point. He made them round then I chose to speak up again and tell him if he can make them as square as he could. He got irritated again but he did what I asked. I'm the type that suffers in silence and says "it's fine" even though I don't like it .. I just don't want any issues like what happened today. I'm shy, so it's hard for me to speak up . I spoke up as much as I could until I read the body language that he was irritated which did not help so I just stayed silent after that. I get done, hated my nails but it is what it is. I move on to get a pedicure, mind you... when I first walked in I told the lady at the front desk I needed acrylic for one of my big toes because the nail is broken. She confirmed what I wanted . The technician that was assigned to do my pedicure said she couldn't do it and an actual nail technician who does acrylics needs to do it (every tech seemed busy and working on someone) . So I just said "ok". She asks me what color I wanted and I said "French tip" she said "French tip won't look good with your nail broken" .....I get irritated at this point because everything I'm asking for just seems to be too much work but I still remain calm. She gets done, my toes aren't even... one is square the other is round. I decided to politely tell the front desk lady my experience and how I don't really like my nails . She was really nice and called the manager and the manager gaslit me telling me "you could have swapped the technician if he can't do what you wanted" like I'm supposed to know that? Or know who can even do it because this is only my second time coming. Then while I'm on the phone, the male technician comes up to me with the same attitude he's been having the entire time doing my nails and tries to confront me while I'm on the phone with the manager. Unprofessional, and just rude. All I wanted to do is leave. The front desk lady was super nice and gave me a discount. This is why I don't speak up because technicians will have an attitude the moment you don't like something they do. It makes you feel uncomfortable to even ask for anything when they keep messing up your nails. I went to D&D nail spa the same day and they took care of me. I recommend them 100%. We booked three spots for myself and my two daughters for Mani's and Pedi's. One daughter's polish did not dry quickly, and chipped immediately and showed marks on the polish the next morning. She went back and had them re-done. Color was wrong, and again, chipped. She isn't coming back a 3rd time. Plenty of color options to choose from and more than enough seating for a busy, crowded day. They even feature 2 private pedicure rooms with 6 chairs in each. I came in with a Halloween inspiration picture today and it came out perfect! The gal who did my new acrylic full set (I forgot to get her name) made sure that it was the perfect length, shape, and design each time before moving forward. I also had the spa pedicure-- I'm on my feet all day for work and it was super relaxing. Everything turned out wonderful. First time here and hands down! I had a great experience. Annie was my nail tech and Ma did my pedicure. They were very attentive, welcoming and nice. To my surprise, this location is huge! It's very clean, relaxing and it's an actual spa. When you walk in they have a bar. If you have a girls date this is the place. I brought my granddaughter here for our manicures and pedicures. I have been here a few times but will likely not go back. I have had gel nails done twice and they have started peeling off in less than two weeks. When I've gotten the upgraded pedicure neither time do they exfoliate my feet so I leave feeling half done. Lastly my granddaughters nail polish came off three fingers hours after it was dry simply because they didn't wipe the lotion oil off her nails before painting.
