I was running errands in the area and wanted to get a pedicure before a busy weekend. I didn't call ahead so I knew I was risking not being able to get in, but when I arrived they asked for me to wait a little and they'd be able to see me. There were only about three or four people working and they had a line, so I waited about half an hour before my pedicure actually started. I wasn't in too big of a hurry so it wasn't a big deal, but just a reminder to call ahead if you're in a rush! Made an appointment for two pedicures and one fill. Was not seated until 25 minutes past scheduled appointment time. My friend had decided on only a fill and no pedicure. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I told them she no longer wanted a pedicure and just a fill, they were rude by saying "oh" and looking/sighing in irritation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My pedicure was $35 and I got regular polish. I have been coming in for service for years. I recently moved to Seattle and was still making the drive. I made an appointment 4 days ahead of time and was told it would be a little delay. I arrived 5 minutes late on purpose and waited another 5 mins without being acknowledged or told that HE would be running later than he thought. SO I waited another 5mins then proceeded to ask how long it would be POLITELY. HE said "awhile longer", mind you I have been dealing with him for YEARS. He has texted and let me know previously when he is running late. I explained that I needed to get to work on time (which I mentioned when I made the appointment). I also mentioned I came down from Seattle, he told me "NOT HIS PROBLEM". After 5 years I would have expected better service. HIGHLY disappointed! THE NAIL POLISH SELECTION IS VERY LIMITED AND NO DESIGNS! Im not sure about anyone else but my time is valuable and I've asked him before to respect that. I had originally went to a nail salon elsewhere and they did so bad on my nails I hated looking at them, two weeks later I saw this nail salon on here and I decided to try it out. Kim did my nails and she completely changed the shape and made them look so much better for me! I will definitely be coming back! (Don't mind my skin in the photo!) Greeted as soon has I walked into the nail place. I googled mapped it and the rating is a 4.5 Stars The nail tech was getting prep and asked me how the water was, which was nice! She was very kind to me and took her time with each toe to get the nails has short has I requested and got all the dead skin off. I wasn't sure which treatment to get so I went for the $45!!!! It's my birthday so why not go big or go home. Plus I haven't had a pedicure in forever like years. A co worker gave me a list the services for toes and they all look good. They range $25 to $45 and there's a lot you can get. The prices are consent is what a regular customer told me who has been coming here for 2 years. I went in for a last minute fill. I've been before and they did a decent job. This time I must've caught the girl that was having a bad day. (Everyone has them so I tried to be quiet) She was not only rough and cut one of my fingers while filing, she was extremely rude. For $45 each, we both got beautiful gel pedicures and a great time. Vincent, Linda, and Ruby were so much fun to talk to, we bonded over our love for food and shared local recommendations!! I got a pedicure here right after South Hill entered Phase 2 during the pandemic. The salon was incredibly clean, the staff were all wearing masks and had safeguards in place for them and customers. The pedicure was also really well done and reasonably priced. I'm so happy I found this spot and definitely will be back. read more

The skills of the techs is awesome! And they are very friendly. The reason for the lower rating is the cleanliness. Everything is dusty, spider webs on a lot of surfaces. Things look like the have tried to update them but the quality is poor and just ends up looking shabby. There are holes in the drywall in the bathroom and the rug in the lobby has a layer of crud On it. They need to close for a day or two and do a deep clean, de-clutter and some repairs. There are too many nail salons to choose from in this area. They need to up their game on the interior feel. Also if you make a 3:00pm appointment they should be ready at 3, not 3:20. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! There is.more than one review on here speaking of a specific lady and her ATTITUDE and this is going to her AND THE OWNER. When I came in, I needed my acrylics taken off and I was just looking for a manicure. The women who i went to was hands down the RUDEST nail lady I've ever been to. I've been getting my nails done every 2 weeks for 16 years at various salons in California before I came out here and this place is the Worst. She removed my acrylics WITH ANOTHER ACRYLIC and it was RIPPING my real nails and when i asked her to stop (and to soak my nails and wrap in aluminum) because it hurt she literally, and I mean no joke she literally SNAPPED at me and said, " We don't do that here that takes too.much time!." ...until it got to the point where my nails started Bleeding YUP. So by than I'm seething. She takes the MACHINE TO CUT DOWN MY CUTICLES because apparently she didnt have time to use the cuticle trimmer either. She ended up having to cut them extremely short because she didnt do them the Right way to begin with. Than, I told her I wanted square tip round corner and she kept making them round. I had to show her a pic.because she persisted that that what she was doing...when I did that she straight up laughed at me and said , "Its not me its your nail." So the owner comes by and of course she's speaking to him in their language in upset tone Rude. Rude. Rude...he didnt do or say a damn thing and he saw how awful my nails looked I ended up just getting clear polish because color on my nails would look terrible. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!! I spent over $160 for two full manicures, my daughters nails painted and all three of us got eyebrows waxed it was a present for my girlfriend for her birthday as well as my daughters . We went into the store and explained and showed both of our nails and they refused to issue a refund when I spent so much money there. I overall had a very pleasant experience. I went with my mother to get manicures and pedicures, and the technicians were incredibly nice and caring. My mom got acrylics at an amazing price, and they were beautifully shaped. I simply got gel. I knock two stars off because of my experience after I left. No more than 2 days later, my gel polish began bubbling, and It easily peeled off. I was told that it would last 2-3 weeks, yet it lasted me closer to 2-3 days.
