Me and my friend came to get GEL tips, when we got there we gave them very specific nail design and asked for them to be just like the photo. The girls that helped us gave us ACRYLIC nails. They didn't even prep the nails (only buffed them and cut my friend). The nails didn't even look like the photo ( it was a VERY basic design). They were crooked . My friend ended up with French tip and I ended up with pink nails. (P.S. don't get a pedicure the tubs are gross looking and looks like you could get a fungal disease ). Terrible job. Went in for a relaxing pedicure and came out with cuts on my toes. Was not enjoyable to have tools digging into my skin. My toe nails were cut way too short and my big toes are swollen and feel like they are bruised to the touch. Paint job was 1/10. The lady working on me was rushing doing her work and it was not good at all. I don't recommend. Price was low, so service was poor. No oils, no warm towels, no scrubs. Disappointing Experience - Not Recommended Tried this shop for the first time and was very disappointed. I went in for a pedicure, and it was the fastest one I've ever had, finished in just 12 minutes! I specifically told the attendant that I wanted the hardened cuticles removed, but she brushed off my request and continued with her routine. She barely touched the cuticles, clipped my nails too close to the skin, and didn't even file the edges to smooth them out. Then she rushed to apply the polish with no attention to detail. The whole experience felt careless and rushed. Definitely not worth the money. I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I had gotten my nails done a couple weeks prior at same location so I went & asked to get them removed & just do a gel manicure. when I went in the lady cut a plastic tip & put it between my real nail & acrylic nail to rip them off, on the first nail I told her to do the tin foil method & acetone & she said yes but processed to do the same thing of pulling off my acrylic nail off by slicing them w the plastic tip. I pulled away & said it hurt if she would do the tinfoil method, she said yes again but continued to do it. I couldn't even look her way when she was pulling them off. I let her do it until she ripped my whole nail off & just made me put it near a fan. After that she filed the remaining nails. If i could give this place ZERO stars, I would. The lady in the far back table,(didn't catch her name), cut me with the sanding machine TWICE! Then, when I was done choosing the color for my nails, she said no, that color is ugly and gets dirty soon. Jc nails is by far my favorite nail place in watsonville... i always look for Lynn, she is the best. She gives me exactly what i want every single time. Her white tips are as straight as can be. Terrible place, I do not recommend. I don't know who it was, but she's elderly and sits in the left if you're just walking in. She cut my skin in multiple places, even as far as cutting past the cuticle. She left side heavy, so there was literally holes in my nails from her sawing it off to apply the gel polish. There was no greeting upon walking into salon. Once I was finally acknowledged I was ordered to sit in a pedicure chair with no guidence or assistance. Waited for well over an hour before pedicure even started. They were limited in polish selections and staff was unexperienced in design options I showed from my phone. The lady that preformed my pedicure and manicure was rude and never asked my preference on how I wanted the shape of my nails or how short I wanted them. The only massage I received was when she rubbed in the lotion for a short 10 seconds. After pedicure, they started my manicure. Lady again was very rude by shoving my hand into the light machine over and over again. After all was done I got up and washed my hands. When I returned to gather my personal belongings and pay, I was shocked that all my belongings were removed and placed near the door and another lady was sitting in my chair already recieving services. Not only was the customer service horrible I feel like I was over charged for a bad paint job. 10 minutes after leaving the salon I had to go back because my nails were already lifting and it was noticeable that the lady put too much polish on my nails without accurately sealing them so I had to go back and have her correct it. When I went back to have my polish redone the lady did not apologize but instead started talking in Korean and giving my dirty looks. Worst experience I have ever had! I just got the worst full set I've ever gotten in my life!! I'm new to the area and needed my nails done and had driven by this place a few times. I walk in and I'm greeted and seated fairly quickly. I show the lady a picture I found on Instagram and tell her that I want my nails done exactly like the photo, which wasn't anything too fancy or difficult to do; just a solid lavender color and some Jewels on the ring fingers. First, the color wasn't what I had asked for and second the jewels were so crooked and poorly placed that in all honestly, my 12 year old sister could have done a better job! Not to mention the nails themselves are all uneven and poorly shaped. Then she charges me $40 for that mess of a job. I went in for a manicure, and the woman who did my nails painfully ripped my cuticles off and made the area around my nails bleed. Even a day later, my fingers are still sore and sensitive. She apologized and wiped the blood off with the towel on which my hands rested. That seemed very unhygienic to me. I thought she was going to get a clean paper towel, but instead she just wiped the blood off with the hand towel that was already there.
