I've only been at this particular, Walgreens to pick up different prescriptions and this particular day I was pressed on time. I really like how clean this particular Walgreens is, and there's usually not too many people inside, but this particular day, the whole plaza was filled! Lol, no one was actually inside Walgreens except for the workers and the three people in line ahead of me at the pharmacy! Lol so I have no idea where all those cars/people were from the cars parked out in front! Anyways, I was able to get my two vaccines, since I'll be traveling soon yet one of them I was able to get maybe 20+ years earlier than had anticipated due to a personal health issue that I'm pretty sure is on my health chart and yet the pharmacist at this particular location asked me how and why I was allowed to get that particular vaccine. I told her it should be on my chart and if my doctors Prescribing the vaccine for me. I believed I was supposed to get it and follow my doctors orders. She pressed me and asked me again what my health concerns were. I didn't feel very comfortable stating it out loud what my personal health restrictions are, especially since there's glass in front of everyone and I would be yelling into it while everybody could hear me. What about HIPAA?! Anyways! I was able to get the two vaccines I needed, but I will give them only three stars because of the awkward double questioning my doctors orders of a vaccine, and then the fact there were only three people in line ahead of me, and it took me 45 minutes to get my two vaccines . Granted I know one of the vaccines takes 20 minutes become ready because it Has to sit out of the freezer or something for a bit. Still only three stars. I'll probably go back again, but hopefully they won't question me about my health in front of everybody! This particular Walgreen is one of the most inefficient drug stores I have ever experienced. I have been a customer of Walgreen for over 45 years in Illinois. My experience was in general positive. 3 years ago I moved to Los Gatos and this Walgreen became the closest store for me. Getting prescriptions ready is very slow, the line is long and the staff appears sub-qualified for their positions. One window staff, I even felt sorry for him yesterday and was wondering if he knew what he was doing! The most of the general store staff are also rude including the store manager. I was inspired to write this Yelp review of my local Walgreens because of Jeff, the employee I interacted with in the Photo department. It was very busy in the store since today is Christmas Eve and many others (myself included) were doing last minute gift shopping. Despite the volume of customers, I received the best customer service from Jeff. Not only did he have my Photos prepared for me in less than 1 hour, but he also took the time to search for a Picture Frame so that I would have the right size frame for the prints I'd ordered!!! So clutch!! His coworker Jose took over while Jeff was searching the BACK-STOCK for a frame for me. Great teamwork, guys! They were both festively dressed, and in jolly spirits. I had a great experience with the Walgreens photo department at this store. In general, this is my go-to Walgreens store and I've been coming here for 10+ years. This is the worst run pharmacy I have ever been too. The woman who is always there that takes prescription pick ups is unusually unhappy, and rude to customers. She is not pleasant to interact with and has no sense of urgency. The line is always long and moves slow. I will be going to the CVS across town who manages to be much more efficient and greets customers with a smile. I have had the chronic disease for 13 years, and all of these years, my experience with the pharmacy staff who did everything from filling my prescriptions with wrong strength pills multiple times to the point that I thought I was going to die, to not ordering my medication, not having supply.... My husband went to pick up my RX's... 2 of them were filled only partially when we were told they were ready. Both were supposed to be a 3 month supply. 1 was for 1 month and said it was done and the other was 2 weeks and said they would let me know when to come in again and pick up the entire order. Then I received notification that 2 of 2 was now ready for the one where they gave me only 2 weeks. I went within 5 days of receiving the notification and it was "put away" and they now said they will only give me a partial of the remainder they were supposed to give me and yet my notification said it was supposed to be 2 of 2, the rest of the original order. The man was extremely rude, apparently a manager from the Cambell store. He never once said he apologized for not having it the first time and now for not having it again the 2nd time. So when I got home, I put my RX in again so I can get the remainder owed to me that they still haven't filled and completed. The system processed it and the Walgreens (most likely the same man) rejected my order and now says it was already filled. This is the worse pharmacy ever!! And I still don't have my prescription filled. read more

My current insurance plan requires me to use Walgreens much to my disappointment. No matter what time I come in, the pharmacy line is long and my prescriptions are rung up wrong about half the time as I have Medicare A/B and a supplemental plan. I have told them twice to run Medicare B first as the primary and then the supplemental plan. I should not be telling them how to do their job. (Ex: on one script, the drug came out $50 less when I told them to use Medicare B as my primary.) So to my latest issue. I made an appointment online for a flu shot and filled out all the paperwork online. I get to the pharmacy 10 minutes early for my appointment and they tell me it'll be an hour wait! What? It's getting to be flu season and Walgreens is heavily promoting getting your shots here. Isn't it a good idea to be prepared? As I sit here waiting for my shot, they are aggressively promoting the flu shots to walk/ins! So aggravating. If I treated my customers this way, I'd be out of business. read more

Nightmare!! Called over the course of three weeks to have a prescription filled. After almost a month they told me they were unable to get it in but it couldn't be transferred so I had to call my doctor and have it called in as a new prescription to a different pharmacy. The person who answered the phone could barely speak intelligibly, and the pharmacist was yelling that she had 25 people to give flu shots, with a line around the corner. Had a 9am appointment for a flu shot. Pharmacy opened at 9:05 and after waiting twenty minutes in line, they informed me that it would be at least another thirty minutes prior to getting shot as the pharmacy opens at 9am (why give me an appointment at that time then!!). Additionally, they claimed that they had no record of me filling out forms, so I would have to do the entire process again.
