We were told much about the artist and we were told we could touch the works; that, in fact, Nash encouraged it. The woman working the days we went in (we visited twice), knew a lot about Nash and the pieces. It was like visiting a museum. She was informative and pleasant and not pushy in any way. I did not care much for the paintings on display, but the space is interesting and dynamic enough for a nice walk around. Recommended!

No matter if I was going to buy or not, the owner informed me at length about a particular work when I asked. My funky little family walked through (2 funky teenage daughters and me) and no one gave us a bad look or sideways sneer. If I had the money, I'd buy a few paintings from this place as I loved some of them. There is enough of a variety to please many tastes. Prices seemed to range from $4500 up to $64,000, so I assume if you buy here, you know what you are doing. Pleasant experience; museum-quality work.

I think she actually snorted. After that she didn't speak to us again except to try to push paintings that were on the floor and some of them had damaged bottoms. She really should be supportive of ALL artists. I've always thought that art was an individual thing; if you like it and it speaks to you then the artist did what they set out to do, create something that someone loves and wants to have in their home. This woman does not need to sell art.

It is very difficult to find a high end jewelry shop that sells quality estate pieces at proper prices. The sales associates are professional and very kind. They take their time with you and are attentive and informative, whether you are spending a couple hundred, a couple thousand or tens of thousands of dollars. The Associates treat you just the same. I visit this shop at least twice a year and every time I walk away with something, or many, estate pieces that are beyond beautiful. Yet, during my visit last year, I became so caught up in the moment, that as well as a few pieces for 5K, i bought a $20,000 Art Deco bangle! That evening, when I realized what I had done, how stupid I was, having multiple medical bills, two rents, many other expenses as well as my taxes to pay... I called and spoke to the Associate that sold me my pieces. In tears, I asked her if she would allow me to return the bangle, not that I wanted to; but, because I had become overly giddy and irresponsible by making that one purchase. She was very supportive and sympathised with my plight and agreed to allow me to return the bangle. The item was returned, for a full refund, the very next day! Thank Goodness! I spend at least five grand or so every time I walk into Squash Blossom and will spend $20K over the next years to come (and then some); but, in one go? on top of another 5-6K? They did not have to give me that return. It was my fault that I was in outer space. Yet, the Associate completely understood what I had done and what I needed to do, which was to be responsible and return that beautiful piece. I still hope it's there; but, I completely doubt it. It was too remarkable of a piece. Their estate pieces are out of this world, as well as their new pieces. I highly recommend this shop and once I get over my embarrassment (it's been almost almost a year), I'll be back in to buy something special and unique. Thank you Squash Blossom.
