I was introduced to her by my roommate over a year ago, and, since then, I've converted many of my friends and we all adore her!! I always book my appointments with her after each session and that works well for me. She is the type of person genuinely cares for her clients. I am always greeted with a hug and asked what is new in my life. It is always such a pleasure to visit her and the beautiful salon! Cannot recommend her enough! Aside from Kristin being wonderful, throughout the past year and a half that I've been a client, I've interacted with many of the other stylists there. I even joked with her, "I'm not going to want to shave my head after this, am I ?". Yes, a joke but not having gone to a professional salon in several years...a joke not a joke? I'm 64 with a lot of grey that in the past, I cut/colored myself... Suffice it say, it was damaged, brassy, and had a hard demarkation from the grow out. I put blind faith in Christine today and once she was through, I almost couldn't believe it. Not only did she listen and pay attention to our initial conversation, it was Obvious that she absolutely knows what she is doing and has been in the industry long enough to show it. Christine is very personable, easy to talk with, and is a real person with nothing to prove. I read a few reviews about Stacy and decided to make an appointment. When I first got to the shop I was a little early, she was still working on another client but after introducing herself she quickly included me into their conversation. Once it was my turn, I showed her a few pictures of what I was looking for and explained what I DIDN'T want (I've had a couple bad experiences) she reassured me that she'd take care of me. Stacy was so easy to talk to as she cut my hair, we had a lot in common, she also did an AMAZING job on my hair, I was truly impressed!! That is definitely NOT what I got. My appointment was at 10am. The owner showed around 10:05am and unlocked the salon, which was supposed to be open at 9am according to the other stylists that were waiting outside in the rain. Once we were inside the owner told my stylist to go make coffee. Once I was finally seated I explained what I wanted. - I said I wanted a two color weave with caramel colored highlights and slightly darker low-lights. - I very specifically said more than once that I did not want light or yellow blonde highlights. I pointed to the blonde in my hair and said it was too light. - I said multiple times that I did not want to have to have a toner or all over color put on my hair after the weave. That I I did not want there to be a grow-out line due to there having to be an all over color or toner, and that the double color processing completely fries my curly hair. - I said that my hair lifts very quickly and easily and again, I did not want light blond bits in my hair. I explained that on a woman my age light blonde bits in darker hair read as gray. What I got was platinum blonde highlights. When my stylist started removing the foils she said, "Your hair lifts really quickly." I said, "That's what I said." She also put color on every single hair on my head - blonde in the foils and dark on all hair between. Since what I had at the point was already an all over color, but with platinum streaks, I explained that since the blond was too light, and since she had put color on everywhere and I would have a grow out line anyway, could she go ahead and do a toner. She rinsed out the color she used for a weave and said to me rather angrily, "The darker color will make the blonde look darker." Um, no - tiny bits of very light colored hair in with dark looks like grey on a 50-year old woman. She then used a permanent all over color. I was then charged extra for the additional color she used. Nice, huh?

I called a little before 9 AM when they opened and was lucky enough to get a same day appointment on a Friday afternoon with Christa. When I walked in, the salon had a very cute and trendy vibe to it. All the salon chairs were full, but I was greeted immediately and even offered coffee, tea, ect. Christa invited me to take a seat in her chair and asked me what I had in mind for my hair cut. I showed her a few different pictures on my phone in hopes of giving her an idea of what I wanted. Being nervous about such a big change Christa assured me that everything would turn out great. My hair was shampooed, and we had friendly chatter while she cut. She checked in often with what I was thinking (lengthy checking, how short I wanted my layers, bangs ect.) I felt completely comfortable with the process and the direction she was going with my style. After about 40 minutes I had a new cut, and she even styled my hair as well. I am in absolute love with my new hair and I thank Christa for it and would reccommend her to anyone! The hair cut was $40, Im not sure if this is a flat rate, or how the pricing goes but it was well worth it, for the great new style I now have. When shutdowns hit for Covid she checked in a couple of times to see how I was doing. When salons opened back up she shared the steps they were taking in order to keep the "spa" experience safe for everyone prior to asking me if I was ready to book an appointment. She also expressed understanding if I needed more time. I have seen her twice and have felt safe and comfortable on each occasion.
