The customer service at this location was extremely poor and unprofessional, severely detracting from my shopping experience. This behavior is not reflective of the standard I expect from J.Crew or J.Crew Factory. This is a very small factory store and I felt that they did not have a lot of options in comparison to other J.Crew Factory stores I have visited. Additionally, the price point seems noticeably higher than in previous years during this same time, which further impacted my willingness to shop here. Upon entering, I was not welcomed. At checkout, my cashier, Patricia C., was rigid and unpersonable. She offered no warmth, and even when I attempted small talk (with no one behind me), she seemed unhappy. After completing my purchase and thanking her, she failed to return the courtesy and did not thank me. Furthermore, I was overcharged for my items. I strongly advise all customers to watch their receipts closely, as the items did not scan at their advertised prices. I was initially overcharged by $5.00 on one item. When seeking a price adjustment, the associate working next to her, Raymond M. (who I believe is a manager), was not apologetic. He treated me as an inconvenience and was generally unpersonable. When reviewing the pricing for a confusing display--two shirts of the same style but different colors hanging on a 70% off rack--he defensively replied, "It is a different color," when I pointed out the potential for confusion. Even after confirming and adjusting the $5.00 overcharge on my other item, he offered no apology, smile, or thank you. The only positive aspect of my visit was the store's physical presentation; it was immaculate. However, the overwhelmingly poor customer service by both Patricia C. and Raymond M. has completely ruined my perception of this store. I do not enjoy writing reviews like this but it is very upsetting when you see this level of service. Whenever I look at the items I purchased, I am reminded of this negative experience. Slowwwwwwww checkout. Short line but 35 minute wait. They had plenty of staff but they were not helping.

If you're a person of color and liked to be followed around, by all means come here. Was absolutely mortified by the experience I had over the weekend being followed by staff and managers just because my partner and I were of a higher melanin content. If you want the novel, read below: My partner and I went to J. Crew to try on some clothes in store for an event the following day. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the manager in a somewhat awkward and abrupt manner, which I had presumed was just her nature at first. She was with a young man behind the register for the most part which I found out later she was training. The store, like most stores, is broken up by gender. My partner went to the men's section on the left to look for clothes for himself. I walked towards the right by and past the register in the women's section. In the back, the men's and women's sections do not connect from the store floor, so I start looping around the women's clothes and headed toward the front as I didn't see what I had wanted. While in the back, I asked the sales associate folding clothes near me if they had an item I wanted to which she said they didn't. Around that time, the manager loudly calls back to the associate near me that there's a client in men's that needs assistance and that she can't leave because she's training the associate next to her. The only client in the men's section was my partner. My partner, who is a man of color with African American ancestry, was the ONLY person in the men's section. As a matter of fact, we were two of only three people shopping in the whole store! I've worked in retail long enough to know that that call was to make sure he wasn't stealing. Instinctively, I start walking back towards him to be sure he wasn't treated poorly. The sales associate that the manager called for/that I spoke to earlier was still folding in the section where I was towards the back that was closed off from the men's section. As I turned the corner at the front of the store towards the men's section, the manager abruptly runs out from behind the register towards me to ask if I needed help. (The same one that was SO busy training that she couldn't possibly leave to help a client). I curtly replied that I already asked for help and that I was told the item wasn't carried in that store. Desperately, the manager pressed on wanting to know more about the item to which I very uncomfortably replied the description of the item due to the awkward interrogation. She continued on despite my very visible discomfort about the whole situation telling me the exact same thing the sales associate did with far more words than necessary. Midway through her monologue, I already started walking away as I was already infuriated that this was even happening in a store that obviously could use business to begin with. When I get to the men's section (this all is happening in a matter of minutes, mind you) I see the sales associate folding clothes by my partner. In order for her to have gotten there before me, she would have had to pass the manager and me (didn't happen) or RUN through the back of the store. Not once did this sales associate actually speak to him. She just folded clothes on a table very close to him that was already display ready in order to observe him and make sure he was not a thief. By the way, neither of us had bags on us. Where the hell were we supposed to put all this precious, always on sale, heading towards bankruptcy merchandise? I walked over to my partner who asked me how the blazer looked on him, to which I replied that if he wanted it we can buy it online where hopefully the computer wouldn't racially profile us. read more

Very happy with the products. Great customer service. The place is very clean and nice display of products.

Horribly trained employees. Ordered Large Tall shirts online. Despite their fit guide online saying sizing is the same as Ralph Lauren shirts, they run smaller, so I attempted to exchange for XL Tall. I was refunded and then charged as though they sold the stuff to me in the store, which they did not and could not do as they do not stock tall sizes. The person at the register kept asking for help, but was not actually shown how to make the exchange online. The other person there just kept telling them to charge me the same price and ring up the items in XL Tall. They never actually placed the order. Of course, now none of these items are in stock in the size I need, but I did manage to get a refund. Now I know to never let someone who is obviously not trained handle my transactions. read more

Hands down the worst J. Crew I've ever been too. The store itself is pretty small but the guys sections is exremly tiny. The guys sections is about a quarter of the entire store and it took me literally 3 minutes to look at every artcle of guys clothing. If you're looking to go to J. Crew go to another mall. read more

Had a great experience here with help from Sonali (sp sorry!!!). I had some issues with a price check discrepancy between online and in the store and they were able to honor the difference. Also helped me with expedited shipping. Selection here is great for women- way bette than Menlo Park. Not great for men but for crew cuts and womens- totally great! Thanks! read more

I can only review the service as J. Crew is J. Crew anywhere. This one is easy to get in an out of, being close to the entrance of the mall on the main level. The sales staff and register staff were prompt, efficient and courteous. That's all I needed. read more
