Unprofessional and Disrespectful Treatment I went to JD by Ryder to see if I could get approved for a vehicle -- no appointment, just trying to explore my options. Instead of being met with professionalism, I was treated like I didn't belong there. The general manager, a woman, was rude, dismissive, and made me feel like I was beneath her for even asking questions. I wasn't looking for special treatment, just basic respect. But the way I was spoken to and looked down on was completely uncalled for. I left feeling embarrassed and unwelcome. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! They charged me $200 MORE than my down payment was supposed to be. Sold me a car with almost the ENTIRE front end broken, paid 3 months of payments without even being able to drive the car. Had to pay almost $500 at a different mechanic to fix something they "fixed" 3 TIMES! Currently without a car because the 3RD MOTOR that was put in the car blew up and they won't fix it. I've only had 1 positive interaction with someone here and of course they don't work there anymore. At the end of this nightmare, I will have paid over $22,000 for a car that is worth $3,000 on a good day. I have taken my car to them three times to get the problem fixed and they basically put tape over it to try and make me pay for the same problem multiple times. Absolutely the worst place to ever purchase a vehicle Poor customer service Unknowledgeable staff and service department sucks I'd give this business a zero star rating if I could but unfortunately you have to at least give a one star rating I wouldn't recommend anyone making a purchase from this dealership unless you want to have non stop issues with your vehicle and constant visits to the service department where they have no clue on how to do their job and they half way attempt to try and fix a issue read more

I bought a car from them a year ago and within the first couple of months they had to change the transmission and since then I've had it serviced multiple times for a variety of different issues and I called and spoke with the general manager and they are not willing to do anything about it. I just took it to get the oil changed and the brake fluid is leaking onto the brake pad and she called it a "minor issue" I have 2 small children that go in my car. I would not call that a minor issue. They are a crap company don't buy from them because they'll leave you stuck with an undriveable car and if you try to turn their crap vehicle back in they'll ruin your credit. read more

Patty at the JD Byrider, in Boardman, OH was fantastic. She not only got us the car we wanted, but she took the time to love up on my daughters, and got to know us and our needs. Definitely a sweet woman to work with. We drove away the same day in our new Jeep. A few days later Patty called to followed up with us to make sure things were going good. Thank you jd byriders for completely screwing me over!! I hope no one buys cars from them because there straight junk! I've learned my lesson for sure. My car has given me issues from the first week I've had almost 6,000 dollars worth of work done on my car I've already had to replace the transmission radiator tires breaks rotors sensors that was making my car stall in traffic light bulbs back windshield ac compressor axle boots and the list just grows and grows! They tell u nothings wrong and that ur crazy I've filed multiple complaints file for lemon law and idk how they are still getting away with the crap! The service department is junk and they dont fix your car properly my car was just there a week ago they told me my car was fine and what was wrong wouldnt affect my driving it was making this loud grinding noise by sitting in park idling well a week later the ac compressor locked up and stopped running while I was DRIVING. My car was towed and 600.00 more later it's in a different shop being worked on because jd byriders are trash and continuously lie and dont want to help! Especially when u drive kids around in ur car they set you up for failure and dont care if u have children or not! I hope this gets spread and I get the justice I deserve!
