Such a cute rustic store with amazing made to order coffee and sandwiches! The staff was really helpful and accommodating with our toddler who wasn't going to eat a full sandwich and just wanted a few slices of turkey. We bought a pie for my husbands birthday dessert and it's the best strawberry pie I've ever had. We will definitely be back next time we are in town. read more

Waited at least 35 minutes for a scrambled egg with bacon sandwich and they were rude when I asked for my money back. The male barrista had to puff his chest up when I questioned why Im waiting 35 minutes for a freaking egg sandwich. And others were getting their orders before me and ordered after us. I spent $70 on marginal sandwiches the day before with virtually little meat, crappy undercooked cold bacon on the turkey melts and they were subpar and small.....i gave it another chance today and was dsiappointed again.......they mean well but its an overpriced, long wait, tourist trap and very disorganized. read more

This area isn't quite a food desert, but this little shop is certainly an oasis in a land of limited grocery stores. They are an excellent complement to the Tops down the street, offering humanely raised meats, locally made products, and locally grown produce. They've got actually good cheese. Great NY cheddar, fresh mozzarella, excellent goat cheese and more. They've got fresh salad mixes, summer squash and all the other seasonal produce, berries galore, excellent (albeit frozen) chicken and sausages, grassfed ground beef, locally milled flour, all kinds of pastries and breads (bagels I haven't tried yet), and a curated but excellent selection of condiments including local honey and maple syrup, and quite a few brands I know and love. They make smoothies and sandwiches to order (although the smoothie took quite a while), and everyone in here is absolutely lovely. I wish I could join their CSA, but they're sold out at the moment (good for them!). The only warning I've got is that you should make sure things are still fresh before you buy. We've gotten some cilantro that was definitely past its prime, ground beef past its sell by date, and a couple other items. It happens in a small town, just be careful. read more

From the outside the place is unassuming. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in the door! This is a great sandwich place with a very extensive menu and very reasonable prices. The workers were very helpful. I had a chicken with avocado on tasty multigrain bread. My companion had a roast beef with horseradish. The food was fresh tasting and the portions were ample. I also tried the delicious chocolate chip cookies - like homemade but better because someone else did all the work. They also have a selection of produce and other tasty treats. Coming from out of town I needed a cake for a birthday and called the store and spoke to Brad. He said he would check with the baker, called me back the next day and they made a beautiful and very delicious strawberry cheesecake (which was a hit). The store is great, and the staff kind. Wow! This place is a gem! What incredibly fresh, delicious food and a surprising large menu of sandwiches and salads and amazingly tasty bake goods. They have great chai, too -- and a wonderful fresh produce section where the green beans were right off the farm so we couldn't resist. The store has so many interesting items you wouldn't really expect to find in a small town including Harney's tea. We sat outside at the bistro tables and had a really wonderful lunch. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Even though it's 45 minutes from my house I'm going back again soon read more
