All day breakfast, great sandwiches and salads, perfect place to sit and see the park, good tourist spot.

A cozy, clean, beautiful and delicious cafe. Parking lot in the back and outdoor seating. Looking forward to visiting again.

Such a cute (and busy) spot across the street from Congress Park. Lots of fresh goodies, bread, cookies and bakery items. They do breakfast sandwiches and lunch. We wanted to try a sandwich but it was a 30 min wait so we will put back on our list for our next visit. They just opened their second location in Wilton.

    Breakfast case! Yum

(We visited Saratoga during Labor Weekend so this review is a couple weeks late.) Neighborhood gem! Super nice folks working here, and the bakery case was mouthwatering. I wanted 1 of everything. I refrained and just got 1 scone and 1 pastry. They have several options for coffee, and they serve it HOT so be ready. Hot coffee and a pastry/scone (while not really a balance nor healthy diet) sure hits the spot while sitting out at The Spa to watch morning workouts. When we walked inside, there were only a couple people sitting down. When new left 10 minutes later, the parking lot was full and there was a line at the bakery case...we timed it just right. This place seems to get a lot of business in the morning. So, if you are hankering for a specific treat... I'd suggest going early.

    Avocado toast with eggs

A great restaurant!! Love the baked items--cookies, cupcakes, muffins etc. Breakfast sandwiches are delicious. I like the Rocket but today is avocado toast and I added eggs. So good and I really like the mission of helping people. The people are so nice!!

    Winter hours.

This is a real nice spot to check out just off Broadway a couple blocks, right across the street from Congress Park. They do all kinds of made to order sandwiches, have lots of different baked goods from scones, muffins, cookies, breads, cupcakes, and even full size cakes (take a look see at my pics). They also serve salads and several tapas, surprisingly. This last trip I purchased a large cupcake; the P.B. and C...chocolate cake, peanut butter mousse, and buttercream ganache...wow, talk about decadent. I would buy this cupcake again in a second and warn you to eat just half of it as it is quite large and has to be a caloric atom bomb! My oh my, did I enjoy this cupcake. The do coffee refills for only 54 cents and even have a flyer up saying you can enroll in a 2-3 hour baking class at this location that's fifty dollars per person. They do a shortened winter hour schedule so you might want to check ahead if it's winter just to assure they're indeed open for business. Lots of parking a half a block a way in an actual parking lot and they have an outdoor seating area as well for weather appropriate dining and people watching.

    Breakfast Burrito with Avocado

Loved the cottage look of this place. Actually the reason I wanted to check it out. Went for breakfast. French toast. Breakfast Burrito. Scrambled eggs with cheese. Everything was amazing. There was a bit of a wait, but there were lots of people and it looked like one woman cooking. Oh and last but definitely not least....the raspberry bear claw!! The right amount of sweet and raspberry tart. It was soft. It was great. Definitely treat yourself to the bakery goods while there!!

We didn't have to wait long. I think maybe like 10 minutes. It's a small quaint restaurant on Phila Street not far off of Broadway. We walked here from our hotel (Hilton) as parking anywhere/everywhere in Saratoga can be a challenge. There is street parking right in front of Sweet Mimi's but it'll probably be taken so you should probably just walk. And you'll appreciate the walk to help burn off a few calories of Sweet Mimi's delicious offerings. (And there are plenty to partake in.) We enjoyed the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and the Mediterranean Omelette. We did not leave disappointed. In fact, our tastebuds and tummies were so happy with our choices. The omelette actually came with the same challah bread that the french toast was made from. If I lived closer, I'd be buying that challah bread every week. It's so freakin' good! The french toast is HUGE! Really... you should share it. The several bites I took were incredibly satisfying. The cinnamon was just right. And because it was already sweet... we opted to forgo the syrup. The french toast also came with a bunch of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries!! The med omelette was filled with sausage, spinach and tomatoes. I loved every bite. I don't know when we'll be back tin Saratoga... but I will definitely be coming back to Sweet Mimi's when I do.

I love when local eateries are well-loved because they deserve it. 9 Miles East Farm certainly does! A lot of the folks who came in for dinner wanted to sit on the terrace to bask in the last couple of hours of sun, but being from Florida I get overdosed with that and sat inside. I'm glad I did, the playlist reminded me of a Sunday picnic without being either. However, the atmosphere felt like that, even indoors. The owner was super personable, and the server was just the right amount of attentive. I ordered the chicken piri piri, and it presented beautifully. I felt comforted by the food. The tender grilled chicken parted from the bone with a twist of my fork and the mashed sweet potato was a great partner to the savory, citrusy, and slightly spicy piri piri. Im not even a chicken thigh person, but this dish changed me. I actually felt tended to and taken care of by the food! Does that even make sense??? It did when I was eating because that's how I felt. And the crazy thing is, I've been here once before. I loved what I ate, but it didn't feel like this. It's been a rough couple of months, but after this meal and listening to the carefree, but intentional music, it lit up my mood and my spirit. This will definitely be one of my go-to's when I visit Saratoga Springs, and I highly recommend 9 Miles East Farm to anyone. I think that a lot of people feel like they're visiting a friend's place when they come here. I definitely did.

We started with a drink at the bar while waiting for our table outside. I ordered a skinny margarita, and it was delicious--the perfect way to start the evening. In the 50 minutes that passed until we got our food two tables that sat 15-20 minutes after us were served their food. The waitress never came to our table, walked by a few times, no refresh on coffee, no status of obviously delayed food, nothing. I flagged her down and believe it or not I was met with attitude. She said she would check the status. She then stood at her station, 10 minutes pass, she is walking by heading to the patio, I say to her what is status, she says she hasn't checked yet. I ask for the manager. She never returned to our table for the remainder of the service. The most arrogant untrained and unprofessional server I have ever dealt with, and that is saying a lot. My daughter had to leave before the food was served, she and the baby left. Now let's get to the food. Maybe sat under some lamps, overcooked, dry, no flavor. The short rib, egg and potato dish was not fit to be served. Grilled cheese rated a 2, Comptons, a diner across the street is ten times better. Manager, tried to be professional and dropped off a gift card . $25 for a 115 dollar tab one hour plus wait for terrible food and bad attitude. I left the gift card for the waitress. I feel like I should have done more to make it right. I do not get the positve reviews. I ate here twice, both meals were terrible. I hope they read this review then reassign the server to cleaning and dishwashing and maybe provide some training to the staff. This frequent Saratoga local will not go back. A problem in SS is our success allows for bad food and terrible service providers to stay in business.

This is the first place north of Virginia I've found that actually gets grits right. The staff was friendly, and the coffee was solid. And that is not a word I use lightly either…read more What kind of person buys a gem like Mrs. London's and doesn't take the time to learn the recipes, master the craft, and maintain the standards of what was once arguably the best boulangerie and patisserie in America? Seriously, there is someone here to blame. What is their name? I want to know. Sure, it's not a civil or criminal offense. But it's a crime against food. It's a crime against the people of Saratoga Springs. And it's just plane offensive. I regret if anyone was driven to try Mrs. London's based on my previous glowing reviews. I am so sorry. I had no idea. But I was just there this morning. I gazed into the pastry case at the croissants, and my heart sank. I felt sick. The croissants looked like something you would see in an airport. I think the croissants at Costco might be better. These were flat, flabby, and pale things. Far from the perfect, golden, flaky, structured, glistening beauties of the past. And this isn't about fond recollections. I have receipts. Photos from the past and pictures of the present. It's night and day. If the new owners aren't going to preserve Mrs. London's food, they should have the decency to put someone else's name on the joint. I too asked about the breads, and was told "their baker retired". Fortunately, Michael London taught other people to bake amazing artisan bread, and his legacy lives on elsewhere. Unfortunately, nobody at the shop bearing his name bothered to pick up the torch. What a shame. It is so sad. I am literally heart broken. This was one of my favorite bakeries in the country. I went out of my way to make a special stop in my limited time passing through the region. But I suppose nothing lasts forever, and this is a valuable reminder of that unfortunate fact. My days visiting Mrs. London's are over. I can no longer recommend it in good conscience. Perhaps the hot chocolate is still good, and the decor is still lovely. However, if you look closely at the glowing reviews, they all point back to a time that has now sadly passed.
