    The patio wading pool

A great island restaurant. Easy dockage just across the street at Middle Bass Island State Park. Great service, great food, reasonably priced. Can't beat the patio with the wading pool. Try the chicken and waffles!

We come here all the time in the summer. The rum buckets are amazing and they always have some great drink deals. You need to get the fish n chips & cheese curds. Chicken tenders are a great size are super crispy, too! Out back by the lagoon is so relaxing, you could easily spend your whole day here. Bartenders are always solid

Thank you J.F. Walleye's on Middle Bass Island for hosting our family yesterday. We are a large family that was on the island to spread our matriarchs ashes. I warned them we were coming: During peak season On a beautiful day, On a saturday When staff is hard to come by. Thank you for delicious food, excellent service, and a great band to boot!

Came to middle bass island for the Great Lakes cruising club rally (https://www.glcclub.com/) Friday and Saturday were rainy, windy and cool. Friday evening's dinner was a BBQ catered by the team from Island Grind. (Pulled pork, chicken breast, coleslaw, potato salad and dessert bites.) They did a great job bringing the dinner to the Lonz pavilion. It was hot and everything tasted great. Saturday morning, they provided breakfast. Since it was chilly, they offered the speakeasy for us to be in versus the pavilion. The breakfast was delicious. Blueberry pancakes, perfectly cooked bacon, sausage patties, yogurt granola and strawberries and multiple juices. Saturday evenings dinner was salad, garlic bread, lasagna, eggplant amazingly large meatballs, and Italian lemon cream cake for dessert. Fortunately, the weather cleared and was nice and sunny. Dinner in the Lonz pavilion was served hot and it tasted wonderful. Jane and her team did an awesome job all weekend! Highly recommend this coffee shop for their catering as well as anything they serve for breakfast or lunch! A must stop if you're on the island!

Kudos to the buckeye state for putting their tax dollars to good use and converting the old Lonz winery into this gorgeous state park! The old mansion is open for tours where you can learn about the epic parties that George and wife Fannie hosted. The upstairs has been beautifully restored and can be rented!! There are also some walking paths with informational signs about the wine making history on the island and other factoids. We thought we'd make George and Fannie proud and ended our day at the island grind- wait for it- speakeasy!!! The drinks were delicious, and the decor, vibe and crowd were all A+. There is also an adjoining coffee shop and restaurant that's open during the summer. Special recognition to our barkeeps Kieran and Daniel, Lynne the mansion tour guide , and Jane the manager. One of my best memories from my time on the bass islands.

We ordered a breakfast sandwich and an everything bagel to eat and a cappuccino and iced lavender latte to drink. The capp and latte were both excellent! The sandwich was good and the bagel was too but a little overpriced in my opinion...adding $1 for a smear of cream cheese on a $5 bagel was a bit much. All in all a good experience though and I would go back for coffee for sure. Thank you, Noddi's!

It's pretty small with only outside seating, essentially connected to a little gift/souvenir shop. Most of the tables were taken when we were there, but there were plenty of picnic tables at the part right across the street, so we just took our food there. I got one of their specialty drinks, which was a a matcha with coconut and oat milk. It was great! Matcha quality can vary depending on where you go, but I really enjoyed this. It wasn't too sweet, and the coconut flavor was really nice. I got. Cinnamon bagel with peanut butter for my breakfast, and they certainly did not skimp on the pb! So yummy. The bagel sandwich was also tasty, as was the caramel macchiato.

We had both dinner and brunch here, we all got different meals so we got to try a little bit of everything. Oh and don't even get me started on the ice cream, the Mexican hot chocolate flavor was to die for!! Saturday night was pretty popular and the patio was full, so we sat inside, which is why our photos were rather dark. We started with a round of drinks. I had a glass of rose. Note that the drinks menu is several pages longer than the food menu, with beer, wine, and a variety of specialty and standard cocktails. They also have an espresso bar. It wasn't on the menu, but we ordered the Street Corn dip from the specials board on the sidewalk. We got a nice sized serving, and it was very good. I had the za'atar roast chicken for my entree, and it was delicious! The chicken comes with a lemon yogurt sauce, and Fattoush salad, but the salad was kind of a cross between Fattoush and tabbouleh, with pita chips and a grain base. It was a great combo, and the chicken was very juicy and seasoned nicely. I ended up with a slice of the almond cake, which was moist and had sliced almonds on top. Very much needed after missing out in the ice cream stop this afternoon! One of my friends had a bowl of gumbo and the other one had the taco pie. Since everyone enjoyed their dinner, and we confirmed that the patio was dog friendly, we returned with Miss Pup for brunch. We were able to snag a patio seat with a super friendly server. Miss Pup mostly hung out under the table, but managed to convince some other diners to pet her. We went with some plates for the table - Chicken and Waffle, Chilaquiles, and the special Quiche, which had sundried tomatoes, bacon and feta. All 3 portions were just right for us. The chicken was really moist and the waffle had slightly crispy edges. It came with some fruit and syrup. The quiche slice was generous and it came with a large portion of salad with a fruity vinaigrette. The sundried tomatoes were a really fun addition! I chose the chilaquiles. I'm pretty sure the chips were fried fresh (the ones last night were not), and I liked that it had beans and pico on top! This dish did not contain enchilada sauce, it was more like breakfast nachos, but I really enjoyed it. This place is definitely worth a stop, and the menu stands out from the standard island fish and chips and burgers fare (not that I dislike those things, just something different)!
