Came up to PIB for the day specifically looking for tacos. After passing Victor's (did not try) which is literally a taco food truck without wheels, we kept walking and found Margaritas. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great vibe, clean, with good music but not too loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were there around 1pm on a Friday for lunch. The good: Birria tacos were good. Food came out hot and fresh - almost so hot you had to wait. Great consume' as well, especially for what I'll call a "basket lunch spot". The bad: we sat at the bar on the south side. The east side bar gets more attention. My friend and I both just got water - we were immediately ignored by the 4 college girls running the bar. Had to beg for a second glass of water. Even got one bartender's attention and she looked and walked away. Here's the punchline. I like to have a nice cocktail sometimes as much as the next guy. A margarita sounded really good on a sunny Friday. However we flew an airplane in to PIB for the tacos, so zero alcohol for us. Clearly that did affect our service quite a bit. We aren't cheapskates, we are pilots that needed 100% of our faculties to safely come home to our families. Would I come back? Truly I'd probably go to The Keys instead. Equally fun outside- better views, food and service. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place has the island theme atmosphere for sure.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Although it's getting tired looking. ( holes in the straw topped table covers)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]it's a good place to eat and sip some adult beverages.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was quick and friendly and spot on as well. So this was the last stop on the middle Bass Island pub crawl. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's definitely a younger crowd here and it's very noisy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, if you're coming to this bar, this is what you're looking for. They pour a, good margarita and the bar staff is very friendly. I wish I had more time to stay here to try a couple more of their different flavors of margaritas. Maybe next visit I'll have more time. read more

Very disappointed with this place food was good and drinks were good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But I made a comment to server that my wife had tripped on their fan cord that was running across the floor and really hurt herself.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wasn't looking for a handout, but I was looking for a manager to come out and say sorry. Is there anything you can do? She really hurt her arm and knee. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Maybe you should tape the cord down instead of leaving. It lay like that she got it caught in between her sandal and toes and made her trip.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] read more

Not super impressed. There were only about 3 ppl on the patio and that should have been our 1st clue. Took a few minutes for a bar tender to appear. We all had some sort of keylime margarita. It had entirely to much sour mix and hurt my stomach. I thought even for PIB they were to much $ for what you got. The bar we sat at was dirty my napkin completely stuck to it and had old cigg butts on it most likely from the day before because as said before the place was empty. read more

Stopped there around 3ish on Sunday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bartender had 0 personality and it smelled like vomit at the bar, to the point we had to move to a table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were going to order food but it was just dirty. Between the overflowing garbage cans, dirty ladies restroom and it looked like they never cleaned up the night before we had one drink and left.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And of all the places we've stopped at in PIB this was the most expensive for drinks. Only reason why I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 was the coconut lime margarita was tasty. read more

Outdoors and great people watching. The margaritas are really good and they have some pretty tasty options. The key lime pie margarita is seriously like dessert in a glass. They don't serve food but we saw another table getting chips and queso and got an order ourselves. The servers are not the friendliest. We probably would have stayed longer if they had been. read more

When we went on Sunday at 3pm, the party was going full swing and the DJ was great. There was no cover charge on Sunday and my friends reported the drinks as strong and reasonably priced. Although it's outside the main area of eateries around the docks, I decided to give it a try. Before leaving my room, I perused the menu, and on my walk over, I debated my choices: maybe a hot dog with homemade slaw, or a Southwest burger with chipotle sauce, bacon, and pepper jack cheese. Hmmm... Upon arrival, I asked for a menu, and the bartender slapped a wrinkled one on the bar. The first thing I saw was the "Sloppy Scotty," which the menu proclaimed, "It's what put us on the map!" I immediately knew that was what I had to have. I ordered a Maker's Mark with ginger ale, in which the Maker's Mark was liberally poured, and I sat down to await my meal. Service was quick, and when presented with my meal, the first thing I noted was that the hot dog bun was toasted on the outside. It was still a hot dog bun, but the outside kind of looked like Texas toast--just thinner--with Joe's signature "Sloppy Sauce" applied liberally on top, intermixed with mozzarella cheese, and topped with onions. It looked fantastic and tasted even better. It was absolutely delicious. I had an extra Maker's Mark just for good measure and was presented with a $27 bill. The night before, at a different restaurant, I had a couple of beers and a medium-sized perch plate, which was good but cost me $50.
