Finally I decided to asphalt the driveway and to be done with it forever. I shopped around, got estimates from a handful of contractors, and went and looked at some of their work, new and old. Mr. Cooper is not a salesman, he is a second generation paver working with his son and crew. I feel much better working with the person who is going to do the work compared to a salesperson who is going to tell you how good the work is going to be. Please check references, reviews, MHIC history as well as criminal history. I posted a review on the contractor's FB page and my review got taken down. This contractor did not perform workmanlike work, please see pictures. Contractor damaged our home and did not repair. Contractor also failed to follow the contract, for instance, the installed ridge vent was not installed according to manufacturer specifications, the vent was not cut. Contractor also is demanding payment of late fees and the contract has no language for late fees.
