This used to be a good place for years. The quality, service and cleanliness have all gone downhill the past couple years. I tried the buffet for the first time in a while and was extremely disappointed. The soup was cold. Some of the dishes looked questionable and the sushi was, as others said, pretty bad. The main staples like the beef broccoli and the sweet n sour chicken are still pretty good, although the wontons were a few days old. WORST SERVICE EVER. I am not one to write bad reviews but, our experience yesterday with J J Chinese Cuisine was incredibly awful. My husband and I got the buffet and when we sat down and took a bite the food was cold, including meats. I tried several things on my plate and all of it was cold. We proceeded to ask the waiter if we could just leave because we didn't want to get sick. We were very kind and the waiter was pissed immediately. She made us pay for our drinks when we didn't even take a sip. She was aggressive and rude towards us. We were so kind and payed and told them we were sorry. Not to mention there wasn't a lot of options on the buffet they must have been out. I have never experienced such awful service in my life to be honest with you. read more

Great lunch buffet! It had all the best selection options you'd want at a Chinese buffet, including crab Rangoon! There were a couple of sushi options as well. Desserts were tasty and included fresh fruit! Service was awesome-quick and friendly. Definitely worth a stop if you're passing through! We ordered crispy duck and broccoli with hot garlic sauce. The duck was crispy (pan fried) that hid the poor quality of the meat. They gave us the cuts that are mostly bones. The sauce on the broccoli is quite unique, taste like a mix of siracha and sweet and sour sauce. Both me and my friend didn't feel well after eating. We both had upset stomach afterwards. read more

It was just me, and I was craving Chinese food. I didn't know what to order. I ended up getting the Chinese sausage fried rice. I wish they gave you more rice. Also the fried just had eggs and meat and nothing else. I wish they added green onions or peas and carrots. I was a nice simple and solid dinner. Thought I would give this place a shot despite the reviews. Unsurprisingly, it was not good. I ordered sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. They messed up my order and gave me white rice instead. Chicken pieces were very small with little to no meat. The sweet & sour came on the side as a dipping sauce instead of tossed in it and it didn't have much taste at all. Save your money. read more

I would have given this three stars if the staff weren't so...off. I figured that's the most politely of putting it. Nobody there could speak more than a couple words of English, they insisted on taking super long cleaning the bathroom when it wasn't even being actively cleaned but still had signs in front of it, then had a soaking wet floor on which you could not step without slipping and following, and then when you asked for things like a knife, they would never come back to you. On top of that, the food wasn't that great (cold and not fresh), and the taste of the sushi was as if something was bad. If you're in a pinch for a cheap lunch buffet, then go ahead, but otherwise I'd stay away. read more

So, I haven't reviewed a restaurant in a hot minute.... Here is the latest though. We recently visited JJ Chinese in Dillon while we were in town. My wife and I read the reviews and decided to visit. "One man's junk is another man's treasure" rings true here. The reviews were good. Favorable. So we went there. TLDR: The food was mediocre, and that is generous. No taste. No seasonings. My hot and sour soup was neither hot (both temp and spice) nor sour. In fact, it was just gelatinous goo with the requisite vegetables and tofu. Not good. My wife ordered her standard soup: wonton. Again: tasteless and heated up a little bit, but it was not hot. The happy family entree was more "kind-of-sad" family. It was only warm and not hot. Fairly tasteless also. We were not offered fried rice as a choice. I will say the egg rolls stood out as superb, but that wasn't the meal...that was the appetizer. The service was prompt and polite, but a lack of to-go orders going out the door and only a couple of patrons dining should have been a red-flag... So...you be the judge. After having a good takeout experience at JJ Chinese, my second time around I was super disappointed by the food. The combo fried rice was a bright yellow color (funky looking) with onions and very little protein. Additional the Mongolian beef and Twice cooked pork was a 10% beef/pork and 90% veggies. The wontons were burnt on the edges as if they recooked them before packaging. The wontons were inedible. The food was not worth the $70 bill. read more

Worst buffet experience ever. So I went here because the little advertisement in the location I was staying told me that this place was a great Chinese. I forgot to check Yelp first I paid my bill and left when I refuse to eat that food it was horrible. I am not sure what some items were.. and there was no sushi I'll definitely notify the resort to remove that ad definitely very misleading and I definitely recommend you stay away from this excellent Chinese place I'm actually looking for the worst Chinese place maybe the food will be better. read more

We stopped here for a quick lunch. We weren't given a menu, so I guess it's buffet for lunch. There were 3 soups and plenty of items to choose from. The food was average and three adults and one child ate for $40 which is very reasonable. Service was good. I would stop again to grab a quick lunch. read more

I hadn't ate all day so I was starving, I picked up food and when I opened it up to eat everything was tasted like it was sitting out for days. Chinese is my favorite food and I'm not very picky when it comes to Chinese food, but I would call this inedible. I ordered sesame chicken and it had parts of it that were so hard I had to spit it out most bites. I also ordered the crab Rangoon and the cream cheese part of it was crusty. I do know they have a lunch buffet and can bet you this food had been sitting out on that buffet for days and hadn't been eaten so they put it in a to go order. Not many options for Chinese in the area. Half of us were very disappointed. The General Tsos and sesame shrimp were pretty good. "Fried rice" was gross. Looked orange. Seems like they used old rice and added soy sauce to it. No veggies, no eggs no nothing but this orange tint. The chicken egg foo young was disgusting. They put every veggies they could find. The "patty" tasted like potato. I don't know what exactly they consider egg foo young but I've never had anything like this ever. Kung pos chicken had maybe 4 pieces of chicken and again allllll veggies. Lastly veggies egg rolls. These were the skimpiest veggie egg rolls I've ever had. I've been looking at Mongolian beef at other restaurants and apparently it is supposed to only have scallions and onion. I didn't know that, some of the other restaurants nearby include additional vegetables and that's wrong. So I'd say that the Mongolian beef here @ JJ Chinese is the best because of the recipe and they're not afraid to make it spicy! read more

I'll start with the good news, the veggie egg rolls were fire (not pictured because I mashed them so fast). Now for the not so great news. I also ordered the tofu fresh rolls and the Thai fried rice "vegan style" and both were not very good. I shouldn't have ordered the Thai fried rice with tofu because they gave me 25 pieces of tofu, it was basically a plate of tofu...I should have just gotten it with veggies. But even so it still tasted eggy and there were bits of egg in it. The fresh rolls were not like the fresh rolls I've had at any other Thai places. They didn't have any of the vibrant fresh ingredients they're supposed to have in them. Honestly I think this is just a Chinese restaurant trying to provide Thai food but they're just not doing it justice. We really like their chinese food. They also have curry dishes now, which my husband liked. This is one of the few restaurants in Summit County where you can still get a complete meal that is not fast food for $15 - $20. For and extra $3.99 you also get a crab rangoon, egg roll and soup appetizer. Their hot and sour soup is really good. This time I had Seafood Delight - Crab, Shrimp, Scallops and very fresh vegetables. My husband had the Hunan Three Delacies. It was good too but not really hunan spice level so he added some of the hot oil they have on the table and it was much better. I frequently order their Mu Shu entrees which are also very good. Their entrees are so big we take home almost enough for another meal. This is a small family owned business in a shopette near Subway. Not a fancy atmosphere but we go there for the food. read more

You also would think that an asian restaurant that offers not one type of cuisine but two, would be a bit underwhelming but again surprised us. I opted for Chinese. I typically get salt and pepper shrimp and it wasn't on the menu but they still cooked it up for me, so bonus points for them. It also pretty good. However, some of the shrimp tasted bland and others did not, so not sure how that happened. My bf went for thai and got chicken pad Thai. The noodles were a bit undercooked but still tasted very good. Not too sweet, and the serving was more than enough. Oh, almost forgot, they even had Viet food. I was in a meal for a very good Chinese dish, and this place delivered. The inside literally has no art on the walls, but the art is the meal. I circled around two or three plates that I was really interested in, and ended up picking the most expensive one that was the orange beef. Although I was a bit put off by the price range, it was totally worth it. Not only was a portion size good enough for two people, I ate the whole thing by myself no questions asked. The beef was thinly sliced and fried so perfectly and crispy. The sauce was outstanding and the rice was perfectly cooked as well. I ate the entire dish plus the garnish broccoli and orange and the entire fortune cookie. That's when you know you really enjoyed your meal. As soon as I got to my car I came and wrote this review. Highly recommend it but can only speak for the orange beef dish. Hope you all enjoy! read more
