Solid Thai food, with reasonable prices for being vail adjacent. The service is friendly and tries to be accommodative of your requests. Atmosphere resembles more of cafe than a sit down restaurant so don't be afraid of being under dressed. The lemongrass soup was the star of the night. Well seasoned, fresh and with a lot of vegetables it satisfied my sour and spicy craving. In addition to this we ordered the pad Thai as well as beef with ginger. My least favorite dish was the beef with ginger while it had spice the dish lacked depth in flavor. The pad Thai was decent. Spectacular little gem on the main drag in Minturn. The service is friendly and fast. It's a very small place but worth any wait. They move food through quick. I love coming here for date night when I'm craving thai food. We ordered some springs rolls that were so delicious I forgot to snap a pic of them before we dug in lol. I ordered chicken pad Thai a little spicy and it was excellent. I do which I had gotten it slightly spicier, but it was okay because I just ended up putting some of their hot sauce on it and it was delicious. Service was great as always. Tucked away in a small corner this Thai place could easily be missed. But the first clue that something good is inside are the regular crowds of people eating outside or waiting their turn to dine inside. We have had some wonderful times here. Patty is a great and attentive host and fun to talk with. The food is always tasty and, be careful, the heat ratings are accurate. We brought a UK friend once who asked for the hottest level of spice. Patty came out to warn him but he was up to the challenge. He loved it. We got there at 8:05 pm and were worried since they close at 9 but we had plenty of time and they didn't rush us. The place is smaller with not that much seating so we had to wait about 15 mins for some other people to finish. The service was very friendly and fast. The chicken satay was very moist and the peanut butter sauce was very tasty. I got the Thai ice coffee and it was in a much bigger cup than I'm accustomed to so it filled me up. The Thai chicken basil was yummy! The chicken drunk noodles tasted very similar to pad see ew except thinner glass noodles. It was also a little spicy but delicious. Came here around 5:30 PM on a Friday with a party of 5, and we were lucky enough to grab the last big table. After a long day of skiing, we were all craving something warm, comforting, and cozy, and this restaurant delivered on all fronts. We ordered the drunken noodles with chicken, the beef curry, duck specialty, and seafood hotpot. Portions were extremely generous, and the duck is definitely a must order! Also got the mango sticky rice at the end, which you can't forget. I got the chicken satay, which has 4 chicken satay skewers, along with stir fried veggies, white rice, cucumber salad and some sort of nutty sauce. Chicken had good flavor, but was a little dry. Small Thai restaurant that's kind of out of the way and outside the main Vail tourist area but boy, is it worth trip and the find. They make some of the best Thai food in the area and we saw plenty of locals lining up here, always a good sign! We got the Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles), Lobster curry and Duck curry. After reading the reviews, we thought we would have some really good Thai food. We (2 adults, 2 kids) arrived around 7:15pm. There were not many tables, but people already seated were inefficiently placed. We were told to wait about 10-15mins. A couple was seated at a table of 4 with an empty table of 2 next to them. After about 30mins we were given the option to split ourselves amongst 2 tables approx. 8ft apart - like what!! As it had been so long, we couldn't just up and leave as most places were closing around 9pm so we told them we'd take the high table. It's a small place, I get it, but seriously!! A table of 4 emptied after we had placed our order - Shrimp Thai Fried Rice, Chicken Drunken Noodles, and Chicken Panang Curry. The kids don't like chili food, so I asked for no chili. In the meantime, we were moved to the table of 4. Food came out pretty quick - but it was quite disappointing. I don't understand the rating system here, I can only assume that people that have not had Thai food before are rating this place. Unfortunately, most people will look at the number of good reviews and decide, they really need to read the rest. The curry was full of uncooked broccoli. The Drunken Noodles full of the same broccoli and, unusually, bell peppers and the Fried Rice full of Bok Choy. Very non-standard ingredients for the food. The combination did not work well and overall, lacked flavor (except the curry). Towards the end of our meal, we saw the couple taking up approx. 6 seats pull out a dog and seat is it on the bench. This then explained the allergic reaction our daughter was experiencing at the time. My wife called the manager to provide feedback on our experience there. The owner, who was serving people as well, didn't understand everything but then started saying silly things like "do you want to slap my face", "you want me to cry in my bed tonight", etc. When my wife told her she was getting carried away and to leave us be, she told us to leave all while holding our credit card. Basic decency and courtesy is missing at this place - if you have animals on premise, at least inform diners so they can decide if they still wish to dine there. The food was not good, it was barely passable and, after consuming vast quantities of Thai food over my lifetime, I would rate these dishes a 2 out of 5. Ambience was good, but OMG, the owner was shockingly inept. Ruined our evening. I wish I could give this place a 0 out of 5. read more

This is a little hole in the wall restaurant that you do not want to miss. Seating capacity is very limited and they do a brisk, bang up take out business. Staff is very pleasant and welcoming. They have a wait list system that moves quickly. We started with shrimp rolls that were light and delicious. We followed with shrimp pad thai medium spicey and a beef Thai ginger prepared very spicy. Portions were generous. Both delivered the appropriate zing and were satisfying. Although we did not partake in alcoholic drinks, folks at tables around us did and commented positively. Being Asian, we are particular in our Thai Food, and this place didn't disappoint. The Pad See Ew was okay. I'd give it a 3. I've definitely had better in Houston. The Panang Curry was really good. This is a regular spot for my wife and I For many reasons. The first point I want to make is to DISREGARD YELPS ranking for restaurants, It's all based on advertising dollars that yelps receives from the businesses. For instance Kirby Cosmos only has four stars on average and the same number of reviews but they are ranked number one. There's no other explanation for other than they probably pay up for the sponsorship position, meanwhile the Thai kitchen decides to pay their employees better. Second point I want to make is that this place is the best place in minturn. It's pretty affordable for this area and it's always fresh, not to mention the service is top top notch every time. When you walk in the owner, I only know her as "smiley" , greets you and makes it seem like you have been lifelong friends in the most real and sincere way. Parking has always been easy for me at this location also. If you really can't decide where to eat in Vail or Minturn, I supremely suggest you eat here!! You wont be disappointed read more

Terrific discovery on the Main Street in Minturn. We'd passed this place numerous times driving through Minturn and decided to stop by during our last vacation in the area. The food is fresh, tasty and well-prepared. We did a mix of things from the menu and all were delicious. Did it as take out which was also a plus. Last week, my wife and I returned to grab a Friday night dinner. Decided to eat in rather than take out. The place is small but cozy inside. The wait staff, two wonderful women, were attentive and friendly. My wife ordered the chicken satay and spring rolls. The rolls were wonderful and fresh with clean aromatic notes. The satay was also tasty. I had the chicken with drunken noodles. Had the "medium" spicy and it was great. Warm but not overpowering. We will definitely be going back. The restaurant owner is great! We had a discussion on their spicy ratings which was quite amusing. Basically, low spice is Michigan spicy and Thai spicy is hot. We got it right away. The duck, while 10$ more than other dishes is worth the money! Half duck deboned with a curry sauce. The fresh rolls were a little pricey, but cheaper than had we eaten in Vail proper.
