We were at Dillon about a month ago and we saw the restaurant on the way to the supermarket. It was walking distance from the place we stayed so super convenient. We went there for dinner and the line was super long but the staff responsible was very organized and for no time we were seated and given a menu. There was no empty table and the waiting line outside was only getting longer which was a good sign and we were happy we waited. The server was super efficient and it didn't take long and we had our food on the table. Service was poor. Took an hour to get water and other drink refills. We all did hibachi. Had a group of 19 so we did take the whole two grill table. We understand a group that size is harder to accommodate but not impossible. One half of the table was finished with their food being prepared before second half was started. Not that big of a deal. But the lack of service overall with drinks and anything else's we needed was disappointing. On to our food, miso soup was cold. Ginger dressing was creamy and sweet (not terrible but not what I've come to expect at Japanese restaurants), my salmon was not cooked fully, yum yum sauce was white in color and also sweet which was different. I spoke to a busser to request service for waters and other drinks. She let me know she didn't not speak English which for me was no problem I speak Spanish but the fact that we would not have gotten any service if I wasn't able to communicate with the busser to get our server and to request multiple items is not okay. The restaurant overall was not busy at all. The hibachi side was full but the restaurant half was practically empty. Bathroom floors also could use a deep clean there is a lot of buildup on them. They were busy but able to take a group of 5 no reservation Saturday, so that was great. Everyone was friendly. The space was a little loud. The tempura asparagus roll and veggie roll were good. The rest of the table enjoyed their sushi and rolls though - the tuna rolls were big hit. The cocktails... well, the lychee martini was not very good. I drank half of it. They don't have spicy sauce on the table just soy sauce. Ramen base is a little salty, if u have high blood pressure, you should avoid it or let them know to choose a less salty sauce. The chicken meat on Ramen tastes like fish cake and they don't have bean sprout on the Ramen which is not authentic. The good one is fried rice w chicken, the rice tastes fresh and yummy. This tonkotsu ramen has a rich, long-simmered broth that contains soft boiled eggs with their golden yolk, nutty-sweet sesame seeds, earthy scallions, and crunchy bean sprouts. Nice little Asian restaurant near the Breckinridge area. We were driving around this area in search for some good food. We came across this one. From the outside we felt that we were walking into a Japanese restaurant. But we were surprised to see that they have wide range of Asian food from sushi, to Chinese to Thai. We ordered hot & sour soup and shrimp Tom yam soup for appetizers. Soup was nice, but their service was weird. They gave hot & sour first and we waited for 10 mins before our other soup arrived. For entrees, all of us ordered Thai food. I ordered tofu panang curry. Again, service was messed up. They gave two of our entrees first, followed by the third one after 10 mins. Today, we decided to hit Nozawa after a day of skiing. After reading reviews, it was pretty unanimous to stick with their sushi. Upon arriving, we were told to stay in a small seating/waiting area near the entrance until a table opened up. We were almost immediately seated. We were sitting on the far side of the room from the entrance but a chilly breeze would rake the whole dining room. The dining room is clean and simple, but nice. It took about 10min to get water and another 10 to get our order taken. Twice, the wrong order was brought to our table. I ordered a Diet Coke... it took 45 min for it to arrive along with the Thai Teas! Our food didn't arrive until a hour after we walked through the door. They seemed to have 1 server actively running the whole dining room. He was great but severely overwhelmed. The sushi was good, especially the atomic shrimp, but the wait just couldn't be justified. 100000/10 recommend!! I've been traveling through Silverthorne to get to Gypsum quite often and when my SO wanted to go to a hibachi grill, I was thrilled! For my first time being at one, it was sooo dang good!!! The flavor bombs left and right was ridiculous, I got the chicken entree which came with soup, salad, two fried shrimps, fried rice and my chicken. The soup & salad was not my forte nor my SOs, however he did enjoy his salmon entree! The service was awesome, we did wait about 35-45 mins until our chef came to cook our food at our grill, we came in as two, we had to wait for the rest of the grill to fill up (I was not aware of this.). The other party was bigger than ours and it wasn't the best party to be seated with but we made it work! The chef did amazing & was very funny! The overall place is loud and busy, not too crowded when busy though. It was nice and relaxing on the inside as well.
