PROS: Friendly staff and completes work when promised. CONS:…read moreDoes not know how to trouble-shoot/repair vintage stereo receivers NOTE: This review pertains to their ability to work on vintage stereo receivers only. I brought in two vintage stereo receivers for minor repairs. One had a switch issue and the other had a FM-related issue. Switch Issue: They could not repair the problem. They stated that a new switch was needed, but due to the age of the item, the switch was not available. I already knew that, which was why I wanted the switch repaired (i.e., disassembled and cleaned). Apparently, the technicians do not know how to do this. I've seen YOUTUBE videos that show you how to do this, but I don't have the tools to do it. FM Issue: They could not repair the problem. After replacing a part (that I paid for) that they said made the condition worse, they put the original part back in. Obviously, they identified the wrong component. Then, I was told that the entire tuner board would need to be replaced, but due to the age of the item, the board was no longer available. I already knew that, which was why I wanted them to trouble-shoot the board and replace the faulty components. When a repair shop tells you that you need to "replace the entire board," it means "we don't know how to figure out what is wrong." When I brought in both items, I was clearly told that the items may not be able to be repaired due to their age. I understand this. However, the problems were not that complicated to figure out with good trouble-shooting techniques, given the correct knowledge and equipment. Again, I've seen related YOUTUBE videos, but I don't have the equipment or technical expertise. Since neither problem was corrected, I have no other choice but to conclude that the technician's knowledge and abilities regarding vintage stereo receivers are extremely limited. Needless to say, I was disappointed. They should not even accept vintage stereo receivers for repair. I gave them 2 stars (instead of 1) ONLY because of the PROS listed at the beginning of this review.

If youre looking for a gross overweight man who doesnt shower, wears a whole bottle of cologne, comes in cussing potential clientele out on the phone, and throws your furniture and gets aggressive with your family and pets, oh and a company that supports it, these are your guys. this is the most bottom of the barrel repair service i have ever worked with. There are so many wonderful independent contractors who excel with this kind of work and are extremely kind and respectful, use them. these guys are low lives looking to pinch a penny and go to work and take all of their insecurities and pent up anger out on random people. As this review wants me to touch on the value of the service, these people would have to pay you for it to be worth anything.

When I wanted to make a complaint about the asshole technician the lady in the office who set up the repair appointment "declared herself the boss," and then she lied to me stating this asshole technician gets those complaints regularly. She double back on that specific statement like a Trump White House press correspondent. They don't treat retired disabled veterans with respect or professionalism, so the rest of you should expect to be getting that same type of service. If I could leave no stars I would. Also, Allstate should find better companies to work with.

I hate writing negative reviews, especially because I've been a customer here for years. In fact,…read moreI've purchased three phones from them this year alone and have always had a good experience. Unfortunately, you don't really find out how a business treats its customers until something goes wrong. I was a happy customer until I actually needed their help. That's when you find out what a business is really like. I purchased an iPhone for my elderly grandmother. She tried using it for a couple of weeks but ultimately decided it was too complicated and wanted to keep her old phone. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the device. it was still in like-new condition. I had the receipt and everything Before purchasing, I understood there was a 30-day warranty. What I wasn't told was that the "warranty" only covers repairs, not returns if a customer simply changes their mind. While that may be their policy, it's an incredibly unfriendly one for a business selling used phones. Instead of accepting a like-new phone back into inventory, they left me with a $500 phone that I now have to photograph, list, negotiate over, and sell myself. They could have easily resold it, but instead they chose to make it the customer's problem. I noticed several other reviews where people had similar concerns, and the responses are mostly some version of, "We're sorry you feel that way." At some point, it stops sounding like customer service and starts sounding like a pattern. I won't be buying my next phone here. Not because of the product, but because customer service matters most when something doesn't go exactly as planned.
