I was looking for a smaller company to diagnose my central air issue. My experience with larger…read moreoperations is they charge way more to pay for all that overhead with their fleet of fancy trucks. I also liked the fact Anthony didn't have any of those scam maintenance contracts that the bigger guys try to intimidate you into signing. If they try to pull that crap, run. My father was in the trades and working with him when I was younger gave me a good BS detector. That said, I called Anthony, left a message and he got back to me within 15 minutes. Super honest nice guy. I explained my issue and he explained that he can fix central air units but doesn't replace them, which I initially thought was disappointing, but it turns out to be the best way. Think about it. With older units most other companies are going to tell you to replace the entire thing. They don't want to replace some part because there's no big payday in it for them. I liken it to a dentist. They don't try to save your tooth anymore because they can make much more money putting in an implant. After a time misunderstanding on my part, we arranged a time and Anthony showed up ,on time. He diagnosed the problem and replaced the part at very little cost. All guaranteed. I'm just happy if it gets me through the summer. You have to call Anthony first, before anybody else. The guy can do anything. Now if anybody asks me for a recommendation, I can say "I gotta guy"

True to his word he showed up around 4pm and started by inspecting my central air unit. When he didn't find a problem with anything there, he walked my entire home, went into the attic and checked out the crawlspace- when he couldn't ID the exact problem in my home he ran a gas analyzer just to make sure no CO or other toxic gases existed. The ONLY HVAC contractor in the area that I trust. I have now had two direct experiences where…read moreother contractors wanted to replace the entire HVAC systems (for approximately $15,000 each!) and these guys were the only ones who said that was BS. In one case, they found and fixed the problem (which replacing the system would NOT have done) for a small fraction of what the other contractors wanted). In the second one, they found that there really wasn't any problem and charged just for a routine visit and tune-up, which they also performed. I don't trust anyone else to touch my HVAC system.
