I've been going here for a while now and the last couple times I noticed how dirty it is in there. Today, she dropped a used nail file on the floor and picked it up to file my toenail. She was using that cheese grater thing and CUT the side of my foot. Like I was bleeding to the point she applied some stuff that burned like fire to try and stop the bleeding. Supplies are not autoclaved, apparently my blood is on one of those tools now. I paid and tipped but will never be back. read more

Unfortunately you would think an empty nail salon would be warming enough. Coming here was very unrelaxing. Pedicure was rushed, didn't cut any cuticles, painting job was horrible. Let's skip to the manicure, probably the most painful thing. Practically bending my nails to cut them. Didn't care that the paint was HORRIBLE! Clear coat was smeared. Nails are disgusting. My first experience was with Joann and she was very nice and I enjoyed my experience and the pedicure was great and lasted a good amount of time. This last time was not the same experience. The girl really rushed my pedicure and talked negatively about other clients and was rude and quite obnoxious. She rushed me out the door when I knew my nails weren't dry yet. I had to return 2 days later because polish was already chipping off and she was not very nice about it. She did fix it but didn't do it the correct way and a few days after that it chipped again. I was looking for a place to get my nails done after a not so great experience at another salon. I made an appointment for a no chip manicure and Yesenia was absolutely lovely. I'm a nail biter and mine were in bad shape. I have difficult nails and she did not make me feel bad about them at all... she was very kind and gentle!! My usual person Jessie (amazing) was on vacation. I was given an appointment with someone called Pam. Didn't massage (in spite of requesting), slathered lotion for less than 1 min (which I can do very well by myself). She threw my feet in and out of water instead of gently placing. Sprayed water all over. And went on to verbalize that she is not Jessie and her work is what she can do. I listened to her and told her her comments were unnecessary. I was okay with my service being done by her. Would she have rather have me choose another salon? The worst bed side manners. My mind is blown as how rude she is! Ps: In addition she did a shitty nail color job. My pinky toes are only half painted. Hmmmm... Wow! Ps: She was tipped well. Figured kill her with kindness. very clean and taking lots of preventative measures due to covid-19. was a little iffy about the shopping center it was in but it was beautiful on the inside. service is great as well. they sent me home with the nail file and buffer they used for me to bring back next time i come so that they aren't using the same tools for different people. they took my temperature and had me sanitize as soon as i walked in the door. prices are good as well and i loved my set. read more

Amazing! The staff here is super friendly and very attentive. I went to go get my prom nails done and when i left I stretched up the polish on one of them. I tried to fix it and ended up making it worse but didn't want to pay $10 for a polish change. So the following day I went back and the owner fixed my nail free of charge. It was super sweet and something she definitely didn't need to do! She also gave my friend a free set because of how long she has gone there and she was moving away the following week. I also made sure I was very careful with my nails after I left the salon. A few hours later, they are already chipping don't think I'll be going back. I had the no chip mani and a regular pedi. Not the greatest. The no chip began chipping 3 days later and now a week later it's all come off. Very small place, only 5 pedi stations and 5 mani stations but it was clean. The staff was friendly enough. I made an appointment but it was empty when I went. (This should have been a sign given it was a Saturday at noon) she was pretty fast and I don't think she did a great job getting the cuticles. This nail salon was close to home so I decided to go there for my first time. This place was amazing. I felt bad that they only had two people working at the time and turned away about 6 customers which could hav been money in their pockets. However, my pedicure felt a bit rushed but was very relaxing at the same time. The massage felt great and I love the different color options. I also then received a no-chip manicure by a different girl who was absolutely wonderful. We had conversations the entire time and she told me a lot about what Carpentersville has to offer which was nice since I am new to the area. The prices were also very decent. I liked that when I paid they gave me a punch card to receive $5 off my purchase after my 4th time of going in. For a regular pedicure and a no-chip manicure it was $55 before tip. Not bad!
