Update: the business has sadly gone downhill. For the last two times I went, it smelled of sewage, which was a bit off-putting. Tom (who is usually my guy) asked for my dip color after wrapping my previous dip manicure in acetone and then took off. I'm talking at least a half hour of me soaking. I had to ask another woman if Tom was ok since I hadn't seen him. I still don't know what he was doing in the back, but my cuticles got super dry and started blistering in the acetone. Then the dip number I had asked for had been mislabeled and I didn't get the color I wanted. The place is filthy and my hands were sitting atop a dirty towel amidst other people's clipped nails. One of the worse dip manicures. I asked for a baby boomer nail design, tech clearly didn't know how to do it. Which if that was the case I would appreciate being told that from the beginning and I would just got one color done. On top of that the shape of my nails is horrible, crooked and uneven, my cuticles and painted over, and my prior dip manicure was not taken all off so I'm sure they will come off within a week. My nails are bumpy and uneven. On top of that I was charged extra for a design that they didn't know how to do and didn't do it correctly. I feel like I should go get my nails redone right away they look horrible. Tech was clearly rushing since she had another appointment waiting. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Went in last week for a no chip manicure. I get these every other week, but this was my first time getting one here. My cuticles were butchered on a few fingers while also leaving a lot of dead skin behind. The worst part though is my thumb nail was filed harshly until my finger was sliced open and bleeding which was totally ignored. The thumb is infected and puss is coming from my cuticle and the finger has been in nonstop pain. Would not go back here if I was paid to. read more

I came into this place expecting nicely done nails with a nail tech who would be able to do the look I asked for, especially taking care of my nails in detail. What I got was a rushed service. The design I wanted is shown in the pictures I provided. My nail tech tech, Tom, claimed that could only be done with an airbrush or sticker. However, the nail tech next to me said she specializes in doing character work, which was what I wanted. I would have preferred being changed to someone capable of doing my nails instead of being with someone just because they wanted the money. I wouldn't recommend Tom as a nail tech if you're looking for design, cleanliness, and attention to detail. The look I settled for has uneven moons, has a bubbly appearance (due to thick coats of nail polish and top coats), and has missing gaps. The manager of the nail salon also kept yelling at Tom while he was doing my nails. I definitely felt rushed from her, as well, because she asked him what I was getting done and proceeded to give him the order of the people to work on next. During check out I was being charged for a "special shape" but all I asked for was just almond. He claimed it was stilleto-almond. I was also being charged for a design, when in actuality it's just painting my nails and taking some polish off. On top of this, Tom told me to take another sip of my coffee because I was worrying him. He also told my best friend that " I'm a big girl and I can handle it" when she was simply making sure I liked my nail shape. This was my first time getting acrylic/gel nails and I expected to get quality service here, especially how good the pictures looked. I was sadly mistaken and won't be coming back. I rated it two stars because the pedicure was cheap, and another nail tech was able to clean my nails up. read more

I was recommended this place and told to go to Tom or Ann. They were not available so I got another women. With her I got a new nail shape that I did not ask for, and I'm not sure why considering my nail shape was perfect (square) from my last appointment 10 days prior. Each nail is now a different shape of oval and they don't match because she filed some sides completely off. 3 nail beds bleed. The dip (polish) goes over many cuticles, so it looks a little messy and I'm sure they won't last as long due to that. 2 nails have a "gunky" looking top coat. Honestly didn't say much because there was nothing they could do to fix it and I don't have the time to sit there for another hour. The station itself was very dirty with debris from previous clients. They were friendly and I didn't give them the opportunity to fix it (I don't want to go back) so that's why it's not lower. read more

2 hours ago I got a mani pedi once by the man in this establishment and he was very nice so I went back and took my husband and granddaughter and that experience was well. I went back and got sub par service from a older lady and expressed it and was just looked at. I decided to go back today and there was clearly someone available to do my pedicure but they said there was no availability. I left and will never go back. There are so many racist environments in this county and I can't wait to leave from out here. It's sick and sad. Then had the nerve ro reply back on my Google review to call and make an appointment the next time as if I would ever step foot in her (Anna, which is not your real name Yang) establishment again. Excellent!!! At everything. Very friendly and helpful staff. I had at least three different people helping me get my nails done. They helped me pick out the perfect color and style. My nails turned out better than the picture I showed them, which rarely happens. They even saved me money. That has never happened in a nail salon. I will definitely be going back! read more

This use to be my favorite place to go. Not anymore! The last few times I've gone, the service has been going down hill. Place is clean which is why I gave 3 stars. This last visit I had a scheduled appointment for a 4 o'clock pedicure. They close at 5. This was probably the fastest pedicure in history. Completely rushed! If they did a good job that might of been ok, but it was a half ass job. Total waste of money. I now need to go somewhere else and do it again. DISAPPOINTING!!! read more

Amazing service! The ladies that did my nails made sure I was happy with the results the whole time! They do a great job shaping and making sure the whole nail is covered with no polish left on the skin. I showed them a picture of what I liked. My daughter and I went here yesterday for the first time, as walk in appointments. We both got manicures. They were able to accommodate us. The place is gorgeous, and clean. They were very nice, and did a great job. Looking forward to going back and getting a pedicure. read more

First time here and will definitely be a returning customer! I've been to a lot of nail salons before but this is hands down the NICEST one I've ever been too. U will not find nicer workers or a cleaner salon. I came in for a pedicure and got a newer girl so she wasn't very sure of herself but she was super nice and really did an okay job and I was happy but when I got up to leave I stood up and the owner came over and asked if she could just take a look at my toes...she wasn't happy so she had me sit down and she removed the polish from my big toe and touched up a few others. I was going to leave and not say anything because I understood she was new and even though this wasn't my best pedicure the kindness everyone showed made it all worth it and I would have still come back but what the owner did just put my experience over the top. Came here for the first time today. Nice place but everything seemed rushed. When my boyfriend was done with manicure lady asked us if we pay now or later. We gonna pay separately once we were done. He barely sat next to me while they did my pedicure and she quickly said pay now. Pay for her so he ended up paying $40 for both services and he still had cuticles. This place is getting two stars only because my service in the past with Tom was nice. However, I came back here today and it was AWFUL. Forgot the woman's name started with a V maybe? So rushed and rude. Didn't even ask me what shape I wanted my nails, rushed my drying time in gel machine, and gave a weak little lotion massage. The boss interrupted when I was inquiring about my color.. I asked for particular white color (which I wasn't given because it was made to seem it was hassle to find that one) um hello then don't show other white colors and say this is what we use upfront instead of making me feel uncomfortable in middle of manicure to decide?! Nails look so mediocre without clean edges and with bumps. Attempted to get it corrected and the woman barely did so. She just seemed so annoyed and not in mood. Such snotty service that I'll never be coming back. This place needs a lesson in customer service - can't believe I had to tip still. I've been to so many better nail salons within Chicagoland area and in NYC. Take your money elsewhere. read more

Ok so I rarely write reviews. I love this salon. Its clean the place is decorated classy and the staff is great. That being said I was very disappointed today. I came in for a fill very early. I did not have an appointment because unfortunately my work schedule is kind of erratic right now. So ok I'm given a chair and the nail tech starts my nails. Now I'm pretty picky as far as the shape goes. I like them slightly coffin shapes as that's what looks best. Well the tech asked if I wanted them cut down I said yes so she used the electric file which is fine however she just went straight across this caused them to become very square to the point that they have a dip in the center. I Noticed but didn't say anything I figured it would fix when she filed. Well it did not. Now after everything was said and done I did not say anything because I figured out she was new and didn't want to hurt her feelings. So on looking closer when I got home some are thicker some are very flat. My thumbs are different shapes. I am just really disappointed because my last fill 2 weeks ago was absolutely awesome best set I ever had. So bottom line if I come again. And she is my tech I will wait for another because I'm not having her do my nails again. read more
