We have been looking for a company that we trust with our vehicles and happy we went to J Pauley Toyota. I took my wife's Toyota truck in for an oil change last week, and we were happy with our visit. We had no issues getting an appointment, and they were pretty accurate how long it would take to check everything out and do an oil change. My biggest concern was in the past, we would take our vehicles to other dealerships and mechanics and they would try to up sale on work that never needed done in the first place. This occurred all the time on my wife but never to me. When we went to J Pauley Toyota, they never tried to up sale on anything. This was a relief to my wife. I wish more dealerships were like this. Honestly, and integrity should always be the key to business. I can say that J Pauley Toyota has both. We look forward to our next visit. read more

I live in Oklahoma and spoke on the phone with Kirk Meyers about a Camry. When I got to the dealership, they were very nice and accommodating since I am very hard of hearing. After buying my Camry, Kirk set up all the programing (connecting my phone to the car) and explained what every little gadget was and how to use them. I will buy from them again. Salesperson, Jackie, was very friendly and helpful, but finance manager, Harold Mings, was the rudest, most condescending person I've met in a long time. He literally gloated as he read out every ding in my credit and making asinine assumptions, even though I was a lifelong Toyota (paying off my loans on time). I am writing this in order for someone to not have to go through the terrible service that I received at the dealership service department. I brought my truck in for a pin that was malfunctioning in the dash, and throwing a signal that my trailer wasn't hooked up to the truck. Grant it, we went to the RV dealership prior to coming in, and had it serviced, as well as hooked up other trucks to see if there was a problem, and there was not. The Toyota dealership said I would have to come back in two days because they did not have a part that They needed to fix it, even though I had a scheduled appointment. So, I came back two days later, they charged me $77.00 and said everything was fixed. Fastforward to two weeks later when we started out for our camping trip, halfway in and it started throwing a malfunction signal again. I went online and made an appointment. Then after receiving confirmation, I went in, and the service person said I didn't have an appointment, but I could come back on Wednesday and they would have me an appointment scheduled to get it fixed. I then dropped my truck off the previous Tuesday night, and called around 1:00 the next day because I had not heard anything. The guy said he didn't have an appointment in, and did I drop off the truck? Well I asked him if he had gotten my keys in the drop box, and he had not even retrieved them. He then said that he thought that the pin was only adjusted and not changed. I then asked him how that was possible because the previous time I had waited a few days to actually get the part. The lack of responsibility, skilled service people, and genuine lack of concern for me was overwhelming. I walked into the dealership, retrieved my keys, and refuse to go back. Zero Stars wasn't an option- We bought a new tundra last June 2023. This April the grill shutter light came on, they "fixed it". I didn't make it home before it was back on. They said they installed faulty parts and this time it was fixed. Next morning it was back on and the battery charge was showing malfunction. This time they thought they had it figured out but needed a part. Two weeks later they got the part in and didn't notify me. I had to call them about it, they said they called me to let me know the part was in but it's not showing up on my call log. Next day all the lights were back on and they said they knew for sure now what the problem is and they could fix it but they'd need to order another part. It was on back order again and We have been waiting since July. I contacted Toyota about lemon law in Arkansas because my new truck isn't functioning as it should for months. Toyota corporation has opened a case and has been notifying me weekly about the progress. Today they ask if my truck is fixed and I told them no that it isn't. We are still waiting on parts and they informed me that the part has been at J Pauley and it should have already been fixed. I call J Pauley and they told me they could get my truck worked in next week on Monday. I ask if they could get me a courtesy car so I could go to work and they told me they would have to check but no one was at work today who could answer that question. I ask why I was having to constantly call about my car and parts and I was told I was yelling at the middle man, id need to talk with management. I was then reminded management isn't at work today Oct 16 2024. So my truck has not functioned as it should for the last six and a half months. I've wasted gas taking it back and forth to not have it fixed. I have bought 4 vehicles from J. Pauley and this will 100% be my last. We are buying a new car in the spring and i think I'll check with Fowler Toyota in Tulsa or maybe Floyd Traylor Honda in Fort Smith. I recommend you all do the same. read more

just now NEW We buy our vehicles from JPauley and the customer service is so bad in the service department. A couple of visits back the tech broke a couple of things during an oil change. One was the oil filter casing. He no longer works there so I am guessing we are not the only ones having a problem. The last time we were in the tech said our windshield washer reservoir cap was missing. No big issue. We figured it happened the time before. The man taking the money agreed and said he would get a part and call us. No problem. He never called. Today we come in and I was going to look at cars after we got this situated but the red headed woman in the service dept was so rude and mouthy. She was defensive and acted as though we were not being honest even after the other man remembered all of it. She doesn't wear a name tag , she has poor customer service , and we do not appreciate this when we always bring both of our Toyotas for every oil change and all services needed. BEWARE: They are not committed to fast, quality and friendly service. I went to get my tire fixed, which had a nail in it, and I wanted them to plug the hole and rotate my tires along with the 20,000 mile oil change. The told me we CANNOT fix your flat tire because we close in 20 minutes. I then had to go to DISCOUNT TIRE, and they fixed my tire, rotated and cleaned them for FREE! I have used J Pauley service department since 2011. Having previously gone to other dealership service departments, I was pleasantly surprised at how fast the service was even without an appointment. Even in the event that the service may take longer than I wish to wait, J Pauley always gets me a ride home to do other tasks. They keep me informed ahead of time for any additional expense items that will cost more and by doing so I can budget for the next standard engine, brake or tire expenses. I have never had a dealership do this and greatly appreciate it. Perhaps, because I was treated so poorly by other dealerships (sometimes even charging me for work not done), I am beyond thrilled to finally be treated as a valued customer. read more

We bought 2 cars there (the second after an accident totaled the first a few months after buying). Don't ask for anything small (that'll cost them maybe $5) because 1 person will tell you yes and the next person will tell you no. Otherwise they're not bad to deal with, and they got us a better loan rate than our bank was going to give us. Second, we brought our other vehicle in to have 5 recalls taken care of. Scheduled an appointment 2 weeks out. Brought the car in and was later told they'd have to order the parts for a couple of the recalls and it would take 10 days to get those parts in. Why they didn't think to order the parts ahead of time before we brought the car in is anyone's guess. Haven't been back for those recalls because I haven't had time to drop our vehicle off again with me having to travel out of state a lot. I was hoping to get it taken care of the first time. read more

There is no line for the service so that was nice that they could take the car right away. My only complaint would be the salesman came out to help me when he had no position in the service dept. I couldn't have known that on my first time there. I would appreciate a Toyota service representative approaching me immediately once a customer pulls up. The whole experience was just confusing! I drove from Clarksville to Fort Smith (an hour drive) to look at the selection of pre-owned vehicles a bigger city had to offer. While I was very pleased with their selection of vehicles at J Pauley Toyota I had a horrible experience with a sales associate that I feel compelled to share. I took a 2010 Corolla for a test drive. I asked the sales associate if he wanted to go with us or if he needed a copy of my drivers license or anything and he said no, no, just go. So we went. I left my Papaws 2015 King Ranch there on their lot. We drove to a gas station and did the usual checks and I was digging the car. I told my boyfriend "I want to buy this car but I don't want to seem too eager. Drive through a couple car lots and we'll head back." My boyfriend asked did I not think that would be rude and I said no, not really, just honest. We stopped at another car lot and I got out to look at a different car. It wasn't of much interest but before I could get back in the car I had salesmen all over me. My ol' man parked the car and came to help extricate me. While we were talking the sales associate from J Pauley came and jumped in the car we had been test driving and drove it back to his lot, leaving us stranded! We had to walk back to J Pauley, it was humiliating. When we got there our sales associate started yelling and screaming at us. "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? THEY'RE OVER THERE LAUGHING AT ME RIGHT NOW! THE CAR IS SOLD SO JUST GO ON AND GET OUT OF HERE!" I started crying. I come here to spend ten grand (its a lot of money to me but I wonder if I had been spending 30 grand would I have been treated that way?) and I get stranded and then yelled at? Turns out the car wasn't sold, I bought it. I wanted that car and I pride myself on buying a product for the product although the next time I buy a Toyota it will definitely NOT be from this dealer! I set up a meeting to speak with the owner today to see if anything could be resolved regarding this issue and was offered nothing but insincere apologies, excuses, and lies (the owner said the associate had been written up when apparently he had not). J Pauley worked hard to take care of our problem and treated us better than probably any car dealer in town would have treated us. I bought 4 new tires 15 months ago for my Toyota Camry with free tire rotation for the life of the tires. They were supposed to rotate the tires every 5000 miles along with oil change, etc., etc., Well, they did not. I have not failed in taking my car for service/maintenance every 5000 miles. the Next time I took my car for oil change I questioned the service rep. on this matter. He blamed on me saying that they always ask the customer if we want to rotate. They never have asked me!!! But I am sure if I would have to pay for it they would asked and even demanded that it needed to be done. Since they had to do it for free J. Pauley Toyota did not care!!! Very frustrated and disappointed. I will take my car somewhere else. read more

Sales Manager "Gary" and I agreed on a price of $14,500 for a vehicle over the phone. I drove a long distance to see the vehicle. After test drive Gary developed amnesia and looked at me confused after I mentioned our agreed upon price. He said he did not remember that conversation. After a 10 minute wait, he re-appeared with a service repair list of over $1600. The new price was going to be nearly $2000 more. When I asked why this was not mentioned before I drove down and why he could not honor the original price, he stated that service repairs are not free. He then told me that the price would have been $14,500 before the service repairs. Wow, I guess his memory of our discussion of the original price just then leaped back into his mind, very convenient. I don't care if prices change, just don't BS and lie to me. Made the mistake of letting my daughter go alone to the dealership. It started with recall issues to it needs a new drive belt and water pump. Considering the age and mileage of the vehicle this could have been true. However I now wonder if this wasn't the old scam used by repair shops since the Model T. First they kept the car overnight after she said she needed the vehicle that evening and it was arranged for her to return at 10AM. When she checked on why no one had delivered her vehicle she was told they were now closed and no one knew where her vehicle was parked, or where the keys were being kept. Could this been to avoid her going elsewhere for the repairs?? She did give me the quote for repairs. I finally had to intervene the next morning. The Assistant Manager in service said that my daughter had said she would pick up the vehicle. I said that was interesting as she would have no transportation, other me, to do so, and I wasn't contacted. He then decided it was a miscommunication. He promised to promptly get it repaired, which he did, but then comes the next issue. When paying for the service the next scam enters the picture. The quote has gone up 28 dollars, and once again it was insinuated that my daughter had lied. Then the $25.00 for a gallon of coolant was the icing on the cake. Don't go there they're not honest. read more

I couldn't even find a place to sit this time until a customer left 20 min later. Not really impressed. We purchased a new 2013 Toyota Highlander. The sales rep., Angela Baggs, was wonderful, and her help was a huge factor in our buying from J. Pauley Toyota. We are very happy with the car, and have taken it back to the dealer for all regular maintenance. Initially, service was quick and good. The last time it was in for an oil change, the wait was almost 2 hours. I had made an appointment, and was there on time. The waiting room was full of people who indicated they had been waiting quite some time as well. Service reps were sitting at their desks, but none offered any explanation for the delays. I received an email from the dealer asking for a review of the service, and I told them I thought they could handle the service center more professionally. Later, I received a phone call from Heather, a customer service representative, apologizing for the poor service and offering a free oil change next time. Assuming the poor service was just a fluke, as it had been OK on prior visits, I took the car back last week for tire rotation. When I arrived, there were no cars in the service area and only one other customer waiting. I asked the rep at the front desk if they had time to rotate the tires, as I had someone waiting for me across town. The rep said "yes" - didn't want my name. I waited an hour and 15 minutes for them to rotate tires, along with the other customer who had been there over 2 hours for an oil change. Our vehicle is no longer under warranty, so we will not be returning to J. Pauley Toyota for any future service, free or not. Perhaps they should get rid of 2 of the 3 service representatives who sit out front and appear to have little to do and hire a couple of mechanics who know how to do routine maintenance. We receive better service at the local quick lube. read more
