Beware! Beware! (This vendor also uses another name A-Quality landscaping. ) Yelpers, do not use him. Gave him money for materials, never showed up, had 1 million excuses why he didn't show up. He left his rented skitter from Home Depot on my property, and never came back. Home Depot is pursuing and considering filing charges, Was able to recoup the loss, but this guy will take your money and run, literally! read more

Jeremiah came out to my house and gave me the lowest price for the removal of tree debris. I was very shocked at his price and asked him if he was absolutely sure. He confirmed that was his price. I asked him cut down a tree and include that in a new price. He was not able to finish the job in a timely manner. He would show up extremely late on the days he was supposed to come and finish the job. On the last day, he told me he could honor his price because he did not think there would be this much work. I told him to just finish up a portion of the yard and we can call it a day. To my surprise, I found a large portion on the debris left in front of my garage and Jeremiah was gone. I tried calling him and was not able to get a hold of him. I then have a email from him stating that he left to get water and that I shorted him money on the job. I paid him exactly what we discussed for the removal of the debris plus a tree. He is a in experienced who has no business ethics or common curiosity. Excellent service! We had a overgrown palm tree and the HOA gave us this weekend to get it trimmed. Every where else said "well we can do it Monday." Which was not going to work for us. Mr. J-Rock himself came on a Saturday to trim it! Stayed in contact with us the entire time to let us know if they were going to be late or not and the price was the best in the valley... honestly I am head over hills with this company and I highly recommend them. First, I must admit that I almost didn't go with J-Rock because there weren't many reviews for company. But after about 15 emails with a company who had over 48 reviews but them STILL not given me the information I needed or scheduling to come do the work, I followed up with this company... SO GLAD I DID!!! He arrived on time, let me know when he was on his way, AND was over prepared for unexpected things that might come up (and of course they did). He took time to figure out what was needed instead of just replacing a bunch of stuff like the other company was planning on doing. He even did some extra work to prevent issues from happening in the future, help my new trees grow a little faster, and just make the yard look better overall. OK definitely pay attention to the latest reviews. I contacted Jay for a quote on an oleander trim. He gave me a quote of $175 which was way higher than other larger landscapers, but I was willing to give a smaller business a shot. I set up an appointment, and the day of I texted him to confirm and he let me know he was going to be late...ok no big deal. The appointment time came and went and he never showed up...no call no text. The next day he sends me a text saying he had an emergency the day before, and that's why he couldn't make it, but if I still wanted the work done he would come and do it. Against my better judgement I said yes, and it took him over three hours to show up. He did trim the oleander but the top looks horrendous, definitely not like I paid almost $200 to have it cut! It's uneven with thick branches poking up, like he just decided not to finish evening off the top. As far as I am concerned JRock is a scam... don't waste your time or your money! read more

I had a very large Sissoo that was precariously located adjacent to my house, patio and pool. With only a 10' wide area to fall safely, I thought it would be nearly impossible to fell without damaging something. Jeremia looked at the tree, scanned the yard and said "no problem". After a little trimming his team rigged up some lines and dropped the tree right in the middle of the sweet spot! They came back the next day and removed the stump, filled in the hole and now it was like the tree was never there. read more

Wonderful service from these guys. We had a badly overgrown shade tree in our front yard that was actually pulling to one side. J showed up and thinned it out nicely. You can actually see our house from the street now, we didn't realize it had gotten that bad. J and his helper actually cleaned up and raked all the dead leaves that had accumulated in the yard- above and beyond what we expected. They also did the same for an overgrown citrus tree in the backyard. The price can't be beat either which was awesome. So bad. Initial contact was responsive, but the team that showed up to do the work was challenging and a bit sketchy. I really felt they had next to no actual experience with trimming a citrus tree, much less taking down a 40+ foot willow tree. It was was explained as a one day job, bled into two days. Totally unsafe methods used to 'fell' the 40+ foot willow, for instance: * people standing on the tile roof and chopping off limbs and yelling timber, but the limbs were not secured or roped to manage the decent. * several hundred pound limbs dropping 20+ feet with only a "timber" yell to warn you. * cutting off the base of the large tree and 'felling' it like a lumberjack, with only a few feet of space between house and block wall. * crashing down limbs into a neighbors yard and destroying a ficus tree, and finally limbs bouncing off the ground and cracking my living room window (which they have yet to even attempt to fix). PAY TRIPLE TO AVOID THIS FIASCO WAITING TO HAPPEN. read more
