Simply The Best!!! I recently had J-Rooter do extensive work in my house. It started with a simple leak under my sink, so I thought. J-Rooter quickly identified a significant problem. The faucet was about to go, which if it had, would have caused tremendous damage. He rremoved / replaced faucet and all the piping under the sink using only quality materials. Thankfully, he then identified several basement pipes ( in my 1928 home), that I'd never noticed were leaking, and many were severely corroded. They could've burst at any time. He did an outstanding job replacing / repairing all defective pipes, in excess of 40 ft. The work Jamiel did here was extensive and complicated due to such an old home. No problem for J-Rooter to handle. Jamiel did an unbelievable job, he is a perfectionist in every aspect of his work and his fees were more than fair. Yesterday evening my garbage disposal checked out, just before the memorial day holiday weekend. I immediately called J Rooter, which is a company I have used in the past. The owner was very responsive and immediately committed to taking care of the issue the next morning. He showed up today with a replacement unit which met my needs and is more efficient. Well my worst nightmare happened. A shower leak in the master bath that turned into an outright water leak that flooded the main floor. And ofcorse, it 0130hrs at night and don't know who to call. I do the basic Google Search and see a plethora of 24 hours services but when you call you get an answering service. Then I saw J Rooter and said what the hell another answering service, SIKE!!!! Absolutely the best!! Jamal came to my home as an emergency at 8pm because of a flood in my basement! He did not hesitate to help by stopping any additional water flowing into the basement. What we thought was a simple problem turned out to be extensive! He came the next morning (on time) and worked diligently to replace two sub pumps that were corroded! About to have lunch when my wife let me know that the septic pipe overflowed and we had discharge on the basement floor. Finished my lunch prior to checking out. Pew. Called around and we were given J Rooter's phone #. Called and immediately made contact with "Jay," the owner. After describing the situation he asked for my address and within a few hours he was here with assistant (his son). Not only did they fix and clean everything, they also fixed a broken toilet bowl. My first experience using J Rooter was very positive. He was professional and reasonably priced. I called after discovering my kitchen sink had a leak that was dripping down into the apartment below. Jamile came the same day to evaluate the issue, and accompanied me to Home Depot to help me select a new faucet that struck the balance between being of good quality and within my price range, which he then promptly repaired. I was recommended to Jamil and am happy I took the recommendation. I needed a new water heater installed and found out that the previous plumber did not install a shut off valve.
