Mr. Fusaro has a "Sincere Heart" I recently moved into my home and it wasn't even a week and I noticed a circular spot that appeared damp on the kitchen ceiling. I stood on a chair and it was damp to touch. In my gut, I said it must be coming from the above tub because my daughter took a shower about an hour ago. Of course, I went to my go to person which is my realtor for a referral. I called the person that she recommended and they were inundated but gave me another referral. I left a message for that company and then began to go to Yelp of course. I read some reviews and left about 3 messages with Fusaro heating being one of them. Mr. Fusaro was the first to respond. I explained to him what I saw and also let him know that my daughter had taken a shower about an hour ago. He immediately said "I don't want you to have to waste money." He advised me to fold up toilet tissue and put in the corners of the tub to see if it would get wet because maybe the water was deflecting off of her body....TOTALLY SINCERE. Later that night I took a shower but touched the circular area in the kitchen and it was dry. After I took a shower it began to feel damp. I immediately knew that it was an issue. The next morning I sent a picture to Mr. Fusaro and he squeezed us in and had Ryan come over....VERY WELL MANNERED young man. Ryan took off his boots instantly and assessed the problem. It took about 1.5 hrs. Ryan was even cleaning up thoroughly. Mr. Fusaro called while Ryan was here and quoted prices and had two men here the next morning at 8:30am Lastly, I spoke to Mr. Fusaro about forms of payments and personal checks was were an option. I opted to pay the service charge with a check on 12/2/20 and left another check with my husband on 12/3/20 for the actual labor and parts. Side note: we always transfer money from our savings to our checking which are at two different banks When I came home to balance the books, I realized that I didn't have quite enough for the 12/3/20 check to clear and my savings bank takes about 2-3 business days to complete transaction. I reached out to Mr. Fusaro instantly and explained to him my negligence. He was VERY UNDERSTANDING & realized that the check was not deposited as of yet and understood....What can I say....MR. Yes, I truly am one of those people who do not write reviews! But I must share my extraordinary experience with Fusaro plumbing and heating. I am newish to the area and after a leak last summer my husband contacted them and they came promptly and resolved our issue and we were very happy. I must say I didn't pay much attention because My husband handled it all. All I know is my normally very picky husband was so pleased that he put Fusaro plumbing and Heating in our contacts as "our guys" . My husband travels for work and is gone for extended periods of time. Last night I noticed something wrong w the hot water , I called my husband and he had me go into the cellar where I found a flood, the hot water heater was shot. I called Fusaro this morning, Joe the owner answered, he knew who I was, spoke to me like I had been a customer for 20 years! He asked me what was wrong, I could not answer some of the most simple questions. He was incredibly patient and not condescending in any way, which I usually get when I try to call any kind of contractor. ( being a woman) He had me send him a picture of the tank gave me a price right then and there ( no nonsense which I have no patience for) and then proceeded to tell me they could come install and remove the old one and it would be done by 1:00. BTW very, VERY, reasonable! He did not know this but I then had to bring my dog, my heart, to the vet for surgery. He also did not know that I am completely overwhelmed w a sick parent, and too many other things to mention. Again I was treated like I've been a customer for 20 year's . He took care of everything !! His guys are incredibly professional , polite, respectful , nice, oh and not a piece of garbage , a soda can, a footprint nothing left behind except my brand new hot water heater, and hot water! They made it so incredibly easy during such an incredibly stressful time I just can not express how grateful I am for the ENTIRE experience start to finish! To a seasoned knowledgeable home owner this would be a great experience, but to a completely un-knowledgeable woman by herself EXTRAORDINARY!! read more

Lost our heat last night. Searching for a plumber to get it up the following day was a trick to be sure. With the sudden cold snap, everyone was out doing other emergencies. Found Fusaro Plumbing on google search and called. Was called back within a half hour...did I mention it was a Sunday morning? I had another possibility coming later in the morning so I called to see when and could not reach him. So I called back Fusaro and asked if he was still available and he said he was in Newington and had me run through a few possibilities that could be keeping the heat from coming on. He then said that he wants nobody to be without heat with it dropping down to 17 tonight so he said I will be there in a half hour. He was right here, rolled up his sleeves, and went right to it. Figured out the way to get the heat up into this 47-degree house and set up a return on Monday to replace old parts that had a hand in the problem. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I've lived in Newtown for 30 years. This afternoon I discovered 10 gallons of water from a leaking heat pipe was soaking our carpet in our finished basement. As it is supposed to be about 15 degrees tonight I called my plumber who unfortunately couldn't come because he is going in for surgery. The afternoon was getting late and I was thinking about lots of space heaters. A friend of mine who new my plight hooked me up with Fusaro Plumbing and Heating. Andrew came first and started draining the system followed closely by Joe Fusaro. They drained the system, fixed the leak, restarted the system in little more than 2 hours. Then they stayed until they were sure that all the baseboard heat was working. It was a very pleasant and professional experience. I am a finish carpenter and have worked for and with many plumbers. We had a leak in a pipe in our basement on a Saturday afternoon. I couldn't reach my regular plumber, so I looked online for one nearby. I left a message on their voicemail and received a call back from the owner within 10 minutes. He told me all of his guys were out on other calls, but he assured me someone would come by before the end of the day. A couple hours later the owner, Joe Fusaro, came to my house and fixed my leak personally!! He did a great job and was very professional. Joe Fusaro came to my home quickly and was able to identify the problem with my water heater tank and steer us in the best direction. My mother had a leak in her ceiling from a burst pipe. I called Fusaro and spoke to Joe and within a couple of hours, there were two polite gentlemen at my mother's door. They quickly solved the problem and also took the time to remove all of my mothers' wet coats and shoes that the burst pipe sprayed on and hung them neatly to dry in her furnace room along with neatly placing all of her many shoes in an organized fashion. Spoke to Joe on Saturday , explained the situation, he got right back to me. we were so nervous as to what the problem was. he eased my mind talking me through what he thought it was.. I am new the Bethel area, and I had a plumbing emergency. After reading reviews online, I called Fusaro Plumbing & Heating. Joe could not have been nicer and more helpful. He sent out an employee very quickly. It turned out that there were two issues a second visit was needed. They promised what day and time they would be there, and they showed up. Absolutely fantastic service ! Our original boiler died on day, so we had no heat at a very cold time of year. Joe & John immediately gave us a very competitive quote along with alot of useful information to held decide. Then within 30 minutes of selecting them, they were at the property removing the old boiler to quicken the installation of the new one upon delivery. I wish I could give more stars. I've had a leak in a hard to reach pipe for several weeks, I have called several plumbers and none of them have showed up. I call Fusaro's Plumbing yesterday and Joe sent out Matt and Caesar this morning. They were the NICEST people who've ever worked in my house. They were relentless finding a hard to find leak. Joe is GREAT! I cold called him at 5:00 on Friday to say that my washer was backing up through a toilet into a shower and it was gross! He's not the only one I called, but he's the only one who was willing to show up before Monday. His team was done for the day, but he and Ryan showed up within an hour, when they could have been home relaxing. Fusaro just installed new hot water heater. Job well done at a fair price with great care and professionalism.. Highly recommend. But the real bonus was that the next day my heating was not working.. would not turn on.. Called them.. And instead for saying they needed to come over to look at it and charge me, they helped me to troubleshoot the problem on the phone and I was able to get the heating unit to start.. We paid for installation with our new dishwasher only to find out the delivery men knew nothing about it. It took 8 hours of our time ( trying to install it) only to create bigger problems and a leak to boot. Fusaro arrived on a National holiday, mid you, and got us all fixed up in ten minutes. With an affinity for fixing what's worth fixing, Fusaro saved us hundreds on buying a new hot water heater. Our hot water heater failed right before Thanksgiving, and the first repair shop that came out quoted much more for the repair, enough that it seemed smarter to replace it.
