There is no outside seating but plenty of tables inside and public bathrooms for customers. The miso soup in my opinion was lacking a bit in flavor BUT the Crispy Rice was SO BOMB! For rolls I ordered Salmon Lover Roll and the Gold Dragon. Each one so tasty and flavorful! I always like a mix of baked and fresh rolls and this combo hit the spot. Decided to stop by for dinner after being at Disneyland all day. I was too tired to cook and I was starving. I heard they had a monthly special this month and wanted to try it. The restaurant is a good size and it's very clean. They were cleaning the floors when we walked in, and they had one side open still for people to eat there since they were closing in an hour. It was empty at first but then people started coming in. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. She was the main one taking care of all the tables on the left side of the restaurant. I was there on.Monday and therefore got the dragon roll, I also tried the sushi burger, i personally loooooved. This review is based on a delivery order. First-time customer. Selected Oh My Garlic Roll and Lemon Roll. Wasn't able to "customize" order which was a bummer because I like ponzu with my sushi. Upon receiving my rolls I was underwhelmed. The food just looked meh. Unfortunately it also tasted meh. Not much flavor in either roll. The only thing lemon-y about the Lemon Roll was a lemon wedge on the side. And the Oh My Garlic Roll tasted chalky and dry. I think it dried up by the time it got to me. Super YUM sushi spot nearby and I'm glad to have visited because it will be a go to for me. They have a vast menu ranging from basic and specialty rolls to chicken teriyaki bowls, udon, and ramen. Basically, they've got it all. I ordered a salmon roll ($9.99) (on a California roll) and a yellowtail roll ($9.99) (on a California roll) of which both were pretty decent in size. The fish tasted fresh. The service was good and the ambiance was pretty subpar. The pricing was all very reasonable and fair which was nice. I'm hoping this experience was only isolated to the night I was there but we arrived around 7:30pm on a Thursday night and by 8:30pm they were winding down and cleaning their floors, etc. so needless to say, while we were eating, the smell of chemicals was present. I'm always so pleasantly surprised with J Sushi after being out of town and visiting small, overpriced sushi spots. I just went to another spot in corona and I got a poke bowl and a crunch roll and I spent $41 before tip!! I couldn't believe it and the food wasn't that impressive unfortunately. But, I'm currently eating the Poke Bowl and Crunch Roll from J sushi, and WOW. The food tastes so fresh and it is the EXACT same as the last time I got it. I really love consistency. And it was only $23 before tip!! My other favorite is the Baby Pacific roll (when I want to treat myself haha) The service is always prompt and welcoming and the severs know their menu items AND their repeat customers. I don't come more than once every one or 2 weeks, but shoutout to JACKY for knowing my face/ name before even saying anything! -- They always have weekly specials too!!
