Food was great! We ate so fast we forgot to take pix. The gentleman serving us was helpful and friendly. He was very attentive to our needs. I got the spicy chicken special! My son and I really liked the flavor of the chicken. The restaurant is small and prob better to take to go but we didn't mind sitting for a quick eat. I did take pix of the art on the walls

Our server was the sweetest & the fish is so good! The Yuzu Breeze was my favorite, and the baked green mussels were torched perfectly. I also appreciate that the to-go containers are compostable.

Food: 10/10 If I could give 10 stars, I totally would! Trying new sushi spots can be a hit or miss, but this one nailed it. Dinner was amazing, and I'm already planning to come back -- pretty sure this is going to be our new regular spot. We ordered a little bit of everything -- from the "fresh" section to the "fried" to the "creamy" rolls -- and honestly, every single one was so good and worked perfectly together. Even the green tea ice cream at the end (which I didn't think much about at first) ended up being the perfect finish. The service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere struck that nice balance -- perfect for a date night but also casual enough for a weekday dinner. Must-tries: Crunchy Roll, Baked Lava Roll (the one with the baby lobster), and the Bluefin Roll.

After the movie, we found a sushi restaurant nearby and decided to have dinner here. We ordered the sashimi combo along with a few different rolls, and everything was so satisfying. What I loved the most was how generous the portions were. I especially want to recommend the Citrus Roll -- it had a thin slice of lemon on top, and it was incredibly refreshing and delicious. The service was great, the food came out quickly, and overall, we had a wonderful dining experience.

To start off the service is great! It's a small owned business with a charming atmosphere. My brother and I came here around 9 pm after seeing that ETC sushi was under maintenance. Kyuko Sushikaya did not disappoint! It was just what I was looking for with fresh sushi and flavorful broth in the ramen. Not pictured was the green tea (unsweetened) and the sea weed salad which was delicious. I've tried other sushi spots in Corona and their broths or the sea weed salad is overly salty but not here so we will be coming back. :) I also want to thank the server because she gave us a chefs special roll on the house to try while our main courses were being made.

I'd like to say run don't walk to this amazing sushi restaurant. My friends and I heard about this place from some other friends and happen to be in the area. We went right at opening and were seated promptly. The waiter was super nice and very attentive to us. My friends and I split several dishes, which I tried to get pictures of nearly everything but forgot to take pictures of a couple of them. All of the food was delicious and fresh. I've been to a lot of sushi restaurants and Kyuko Sushikaya is in my top two ()! I wish there was one in Orange County where I live; my friends and I are already planning our next visit. Side note/fun fact: I haven't stopped thinking about the Alaskan Roll and it's been a week (check out the sizzling video I posted). It was fantastic and the caramelization on the salmon was superb. I highly recommend Kyuko Sushikaya. also, they have seating inside or outside. Cheers!

Big group of friends went to enjoy some sushi before the UFC fights. Saw this place next door and gave it a try. We are so GLAD we did, the food was delicious and the service was amazing. We felt so welcome and taken care of. The bluefin tuna , yuzu pepper and Lemon citrus rolls are MUST TRYs. Everything was very delicious though and we also found out it's under new management! We were lucky to find this spot right next to the movies and cold stone is next door if you've got room in your second stomach for desserts somehow. Also the bathroom was very clean and well maintained like the rest of the restaurant which speaks volumes about the new owners and their attention to detail. 5/5 for food 5/5 for service 5/5 for cleanliness and overall atmosphere Thank you !! We will definitely be coming back

Food: impeccable Service: PERFECT Went here for my birthday dinner with my mom. I ordered a miso soup (mom can't have any due to high blood pressure) but they brought her one on the house and I ate it for her haha. They brought me a baked whitefish appetizer in the house yet again, that was flavorful and I quite enjoyed it. The sushi and sashimi was fresh and flavorful. The standout though was definitely the attentive and kind server that I had (I think that she's maybe the owner?)

I had Korean-style hoe-deop-bap for an early dinner and the dessert was so delicious that I'm uploading a picture. It was even better with a warm hot tea. The year-end atmosphere was great and the service was great, so I ended up staying longer than I expected. It's great for year-end family gatherings, and it's nice to come with a light heart and feel the warmth that fills you up.

I recently discovered an amazing sushi spot here in Corona, and I absolutely loved it! The ambiance was fantastic, and the owners, Kenny and Michelle, were incredibly warm and welcoming. The sushi was the best I've had in a long time, so fresh and flavorful! I moved from Irvine to Corona and have been searching for a great sushi place, and this one definitely stands out. The cleanliness is impressive, and I love that I can bring my kids here, they absolutely adore it! This was my second time bringing them, and they can't get enough. I highly recommend checking it out.

Amazing spot! SUPER fresh probably the best sushi I've had on this side of corona. Sauces were light but flavorful. Great customer service and staff.

Yoshioishi Sushi & Ramen had solid reviews, so we decided to pivot and give it a try. First impression: the menu is extensive. It's one of those places where you almost don't know where to start. The fan favorites are marked with a red flower, which helped narrow things down. We also asked our server for suggestions, which made it easier to navigate. We arrived just before 5pm and there was only one other table. We were told to sit anywhere we'd like. By the time we left, the restaurant was filling up and it seemed like there were quite a few regulars coming in. Here's what we tried: Salted edamame: Just average. A bit limp and not as crisp as I'm used to, so they didn't feel especially fresh. Gyoza: Really nice flavor and the dipping sauce was well balanced. These were solid. Yellowtail jalapeño sashimi: This was different in a good way. It had cilantro and a slightly sweeter sauce instead of the traditional garlic ponzu. Unexpected, but a pleasant surprise. Crispy chicken karaage: Slightly over fried but still flavorful. The dipping sauce helped. Crispy rice with spicy tuna: Just okay. One piece barely had tuna on top. Not bad, but not something I'd reorder. Cucumber salad: Served on a bed of iceberg lettuce, which surprised us, but the dressing had great flavor. This disappeared quickly. Nigiri: The salmon was incredibly fresh and one of the highlights. The albacore and toro came topped with fresh wasabi, which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the salmon and albacore. The toro didn't quite melt in your mouth like we hoped. It was a bit chewy. Crazy Salmon Roll: Good flavor, but note that the salmon on the outside is fully cooked. We expected raw, so just something to keep in mind. Snow Mountain Roll: A fan favorite at the table. Great texture and flavor. Plain udon and plain ramen: Both were excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. We definitely over ordered, but we left very full. One small detail for fellow tea lovers: I always look forward to hot tea at a Japanese restaurant, especially when it's served in a small pot you can refill at the table. Here it was hot water with a tea bag in a metal cup, which was too hot to comfortably hold, and there was no teapot provided. Not a deal breaker, but next time I'd probably skip the tea. Service was strong. In addition to our main server, two other team members checked in and refilled water regularly, which we appreciated. Overall, I'd call it a 3.5 if that were an option, so I'm landing at 3 stars. The food was decent, the atmosphere comfortable, and the service attentive. It didn't completely wow us, but we're glad we tried it.

We stumbled upon Rakki when we first moved to Chino Hills in 2023, and took a break from coming when our son was in the oven. It was definitely our go to Sushi spot when we had the energy to make it out there. We loved the various choices of nigiri, sushi rolls and even the appetizers. Shortly before they closed, the owner even gave us a complimentary yellowtail collar which was absolutely delicious, amazingly flavorful and super juicy (we never ordered this previously, since we always went with the AYCE option). The AYCE was very reasonably priced for what you got, and could be considered on the very cheap end, for quality of the food you got and options available. Rakki Sushi got high praises from our foodie friends who would visit us as well. The chef and staff were always super nice, they always came to check on how we were doing when they weren't too overwhelmed with the busyness, and we loved how super friendly they were. Our son loved the staff as well, and he always gave them smiles back in response to theirs. The ambience was more of a local/casual sushi spot, rather than somewhere fancy, which my wife and I greatly enjoyed since we like dressing comfortably in just t-shirts and joggers. The tables, seats, and utensils were always clean when we went there. The men's restroom wasn't the cleanest looking, but given the location it was understandable. Plus, we were there for the food, and not really to strictly use the restroom. We greatly miss you Rakki Sushi and hope you are able to come back one day!

The place didn't look like much from the outside -- a little run down in an older strip mall. But you can't judge a restaurant from the facade. I wouldn't say it's the best sushi I've ever had -- it's not. But for an AYCE place -- wow, it's pretty good. My previous favorite place was tomikawa in Irvine, but this place might be better. All the sushi we had was pretty fresh. And the other stuff we had such as jalapeno poppers and gyoza were very flavorful and tasty. The baked scallop could have been a little less runny, but the flavor was very good. The pieces of sushi are all very small -- I provide a picture with my index finger for perspective. Since the place is AYCE, this isn't a diss... Just something you should know. So if you think you want 4 large pieces of sushi, you might order 6 or even 8 here. In a way, I actually liked the smaller pieces, as they're easier to pop in your mouth and chew, and you can easily order a lot of different kinds to try without worrying that you can't finish all of them. The only thing missing is udon or ramen. I like to finish off a meal with a little warm noodles, and that's a notable miss. I'm not sure it's totally worth a deliberate trip from Irvine ... But we're definitely going to stop by any time we're in the area.

We were sitting at the bar yesterday evening and a rude customer had treated the female staff poorly and caused a scene, the general manager handled the aggressive customer with grace and respect. This last visit (April 18) was the worst yet. The drinks are actually great, the bartenders know what they're doing. That's the only redeeming part of this place. Now the sushi... completely different story. It took an hour to get a lobster roll, and what showed up had little to no lobster. It was mostly shrimp, not even a mix, and to make it worse, there was visible shrimp vein (yes, the poop tract) still in it. Completely unacceptable, especially for something being sold as a lobster roll. (See photo.) It also took another hour to get just three types of sushi, and the yellowtail was cut poorly, chewy and full of muscle, not clean or fresh. At this point, this isn't a one-off experience, it's a pattern. I've given this place multiple chances, and the food quality and timing consistently miss the mark. If you want good sushi, skip this place. If you want solid cocktails, sit at the bar and leave it at that.

The shrimp tempura, cream cheese and avocado with crab meat was divine. The presentation of the roll was beautiful. I didn't have to worry about the sauces as they were placed upon the top.
