First timers! Let me tell you.. the quality is amazing. One of the best baked muscles we've had! Everything was really good. They also had a lot of good beer options. Grace our waitress is so sweet and amazing and the restaurant was large, clean and inviting. We will definitely be back!

Pros: - Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna Roll.... BOMB! Good ratio between the rice and tuna & had a little sweeter sauce - here for it! - no reservation, quickly seated (restaurant wasn't too busy on a Saturday afternoon) Cons: - service wasn't the quickest, had to flag our server down a few times - the spicy salmon hand roll I could've done without honestly, it didn't add much to the flavor experience

The food is a 5 star. Great options, very fresh, wonderful presentation. The server is a 3 star because she was double masked. That's right in 2026 double masked and we could not hear her very well at all. Figure out a better option if you are that scared of the boogie man diseases. The music was funky but rather loud. Maybe our table was just in the wrong spot. Overall a great sushi place though. Iron out the odd server experience and the loud music and they get 5 stars

Nice addition to Dos Lagos, Dada has an extensive menu of both food and beverages. The bento boxes are a good deal, but in a recent visit, we ordered sushi and while not the most traditional or best, the fish was fresh and the portions were very generous. The main pet peeve might be a more personal one, but I prefer rolls/nigiri with less rice and the ones here were quite filling. The spicy tuna roll and the yellowtail onion rolls were enormous! But each piece of nigiri was also large. Also, the sushi rice was a bit dry during the lunch service. Service was solid and there was a surprisingly nice choice of Japanese craft beers and sake.

I order salmon sashimi for lunch. I sat at the bar area. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay with lunch which in my previous visit they did not have. The ambiance is beautiful and classy. Service was very good. It was pricier than other sushi places I've been to, but that may be because of their location in the heart of the Dos Lagos shopping center. Next time I'm shopping in this area I will definitely stop by for lunch again!

Went here as I was craving sushi and this one was the closest one to me that had promising reviews. Walked in and it is a very big restaurant and pretty chill vibes we were greeted and seated immediately and our server which was a guy with glasses was extremely friendly and let us pick our seating. I ordered a bento box off the lunch menu because it was still before 3pm. Roughly about like 10 minutes passed, the manager came to me and said that is was the dinner bento box pricing as that only applies to the weekdays. I was unaware of this and it wasnt stated on the menu but she said it was okay for this time but maybe next time reiterate that on your website or when I ordered it not 10 minutes after. We got the spicy korean fried chicken, salmon bento box, and a baked salmon roll. Presentation was nice and everything looked well! However tastewise it just didn't meet my expectation and I thought the salmon was going to be a part of the roll but it is a filet over the rolls instead. Not a huge deal but it was a little difficult to eat. Food wise it was just a meh nothing too crazy but it wasn't terrible either. Our server through was extremely nice and very friendly!

I've been there several times through work and had an opportunity to try many dishes here. They could expand on their noodle and ramen and vegetarian options as their noodle and vegetarian options are very limiting and lack flavor. My friends all enjoyed their food Service would be 3/5 as they spill hot soup on one of us when she was placing it. It was her first day so we understood being in service industry ourself. The restaurant is clean

We had a variety of sashimi. Yellow tail and Salmon belly and escolar.

The food was very good! Little more expensive than some others in the area. However the Dos Lagos location and the quality make it understandable. Display of our sashimi was beautiful and added treats of salmon eggs, caviar and fresh wasabi was an added bonus. Well done! Service was slow. However understood as it was a Thursday night and it seemed they had newer waitstaff in training.

Food is good. I ordered the teriyaki bowl and my husband got a roll and a hand roll. All were excellent. We also had the calamari...I asked for a spicy mayo to use as dipping sauce for it. The batter is a bit powderry for me but otherwise good. Server Aliya was excellent too.

My family and I had lunch here on a Sunday, and overall our bellies were satisfied and had a pleasant time. I personally liked the decor. It was also nice that the owner greeted us when we walked in. Service was great and prompt. We got bentos and various sushi rolls. The bentos were pretty good deals for what they give. My parents appreciated that their chicken was not salty (they are super picky when it comes to sodium content). I wished I took more pics of everyone's sushi rolls, but they were gone pretty quickly. The fish in the rolls was good but not as fresh as what we've had at other places. Maybe it was just that day, since others who reviewed said they had fresh fish when they went. The rolls are slightly bigger than at other sushi places, but I think the prices are still pretty steep. Food-4.0 Ambience-5.0 Service-5.0 Cleanliness-5.0 Value-4.0 Overall = 4.6

We scheduled our lunch on the same day as the FIFA World Cup Bronze Medal match, making it an even more memorable afternoon. The restaurant has a modern Japanese atmosphere with several small private dining rooms, a large bar-style seating area, and an open sushi counter. Each private room is separated by traditional Japanese-style sliding panel walls, giving guests a comfortable sense of privacy. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and quickly escorted to one of the center private rooms, which overlooked a beautiful shared display of bonsai trees. In my opinion, we were seated in the best private room in the restaurant. The peaceful setting and elegant décor made it feel like the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. For our birthday lunch, we ordered the following dishes: Salmon Skin Salad - (Excellent) Crispy salmon skin served over a fresh salad with a light dressing. A refreshing way to start the meal with a nice contrast of textures. Tuna Pringles - (Great) Crispy potato chips topped with seasoned tuna. A fun and creative appetizer that combines crunchy and creamy in every bite. Seared Scallop - (Excellent) Beautifully seared scallops with a lightly caramelized exterior while remaining tender and buttery inside. Premium Chirashi - (Excellent) An assorted sashimi bowl featuring a generous selection of premium fresh seafood over sushi rice. Great variety and beautifully presented. A5 Wagyu Beef (GF) - (Excellent) Rich, buttery A5 Wagyu that literally melts in your mouth. A must-order for beef lovers. King Salmon Sushi (4 pcs) - (Excellent) Thick-cut king salmon with rich flavor and buttery texture. Fresh and satisfying. Hokkaido Scallop Sushi (4 pcs) - (Wonderful) Sweet, tender Hokkaido scallops with a delicate texture that practically melts in your mouth. Miso Soup (3 bowls) - (Excellent) Warm and comforting traditional miso soup served before the main courses. It wasn't an ordinary miso soup, I feel like the base of the soup has a strong seafood flavor which made it even more enjoyable. Hot Green Tea - (Good) A classic hot green tea that paired nicely with the sushi and sashimi throughout the meal. Amato Special Black Sesame Ice Cream (Black Sesame Ice Cream, Dry Persimmons with cream cheese, and Matcha cake- (Excellent) A rich and creamy black sesame ice cream with deep roasted sesame flavor perfect to finish off a sashimi meal. It also comes with Dry persimmons filled with cream cheese which is not too sweet and the two ingredients go so well together. I love the match mochi cake that can pair well with the black sesame ice cream. Birthday Matcha Cake - (Complimentary) A thoughtful birthday surprise from the restaurant that made the celebration even more memorable. It is topped with matcha ice cream with matcha mochi cake underneath. Overall, Izakaya Osen exceeded our expectations and delivered one of the best Japanese dining experiences we've had in Orange County. Every dish was beautifully presented and prepared with high-quality ingredients, from the incredibly fresh sashimi to the melt-in-your-mouth A5 Wagyu and Hokkaido Scallop Sushi. The unique appetizers, flavorful seafood-based miso soup, and outstanding desserts made the meal even more memorable. Combined with the elegant private dining room, peaceful atmosphere, and attentive service, it was the perfect place to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The complimentary birthday matcha cake was a thoughtful finishing touch that made the occasion feel even more special. We already have several more dishes on our list to try next time, and we'll definitely be returning. Izakaya Osen easily earns a well-deserved 5-star rating from us.

Our waitress was always there when we needed her and would check up on us consistently! The place is very spacious, music was lively, and overall great atmosphere. Bathrooms were clean and it had a mouth wash dispenser including the cup As for food and drinks, everything was so delicious! Yuzu Lemonade was very refreshing and was a nice mix of the flavors. The yuzu and lemonade didn't overpower each other, and a nice touch of the mint leaf! Kei Coconut Ube had a nice taste to it. The sweetness was nice, super purple in color, and worth trying at least once. Drink definitely does not look or taste like a beer so think of it as a sparkling Ube drink when you try it. Beef Tongue appetizer was very tasty and the appearance was pretty. The sauce was very delicious with a hint of citrus. Beef Bowl Udon was delicious as well. The udon noodles are in the middle of the thickness level. Broth was nice and refreshing, and the beef belly was super soft and tasted amazing. Seafood Tom Kha Ramen was really good. Seafood in it were shrimps, scallops, and squid/calamari. Not too spicy, but had a nice kick to it. Veggies were nice and mixed well with the seafood ramen! Unfortunately, the eggs do not come with the udon or ramen, but they do have free unlimited ramen noodles!!! They let you get it for the udon broths as well! Would definitely come back to this place when I'm back in this part of town!
